005 Feels Like Winter

While writing a review for a different perfume, this one came to mind. I am a big Zara fragrance enthusiast; so much so that visiting a Zara on vacation has actually become a permanent part of my itinerary. I remember purchasing this and 004 Me & My Selfie while in New Orleans during the Autumn season a few years back. Dazzling frag. The violet & vanilla do much of the heavy lifting, the jasmine is more present in the initial spray. To me, it smells like how late Autumn feels in the south. Unfortunately, I don't see Zara ever bringing this back but hopefully their next F/W perfume collection has a beauty that smells similar to this.

One of my recent purchases. To tell the truth, this one was quite outstanding to my nose among the rest from the range. And for such basic notes it smells pretty intriguing. Powdery in a good way, fresh as floraly fresh and sweet but not too much. In no way offensive and quite wearable during the daytime. I picture eating some kind of sweets in winter outside in crisp cold and fresh air. Maybe because the name suggests so :) I like it.

I don't so much get violet as a soft lemon sherbet with powdery vanilla. Longevity is better on moist skin.

Smells like Replica by the fireplace. A great Dior for that fragrance!

Imagine that in your palm you have a powder mix of crushed Violets, Caster sugar and a pinch of vanillin. You open your palm and blow the powder in the ice-cold air as you watch it fall in the clean show. That's the feel I get from this one.

love love this fragrance but so bummed to learn that it was discontinued. i visited zara today and their new fragrance wednesday - i’m most grateful is exactly what this was—at least from my memory!
