6902 Hollywood Boulevard Los Angeles

When I first tried this it felt strangely familiar to me, until I came here to review it and I saw that it reminded people of "Light Blue" by Dolce & Gabbana. That's what this smells like! It really is like a combination of D&G's "Light Blue" and "Island Fantasy" by Britney Spears. I got this fragance with its lovely box and there are more notes listed in it. The notes are as follow: TOP: Pear, mandarin, grapefruit. HEART: Rose, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang. BASE: Cedar, musk. So looking at the notes of this one and "Light Blue" you'll see what gives this the simlilarity: I think it's the cedar (which is not listed here but it's listed in the package of the perfume). So this feels like a fresh fragance, that opens with the citric notes and a dash of pear. The citrus never really disappears, but as it dries down (rather quickly) you get a hint of a fresh floral tropical vibe, which must come from the lily of the valley and the ylang-ylang, since there's no rose noticeable here at all. The cedar is always there from the start, and it doesn't go away. And I guess there's a bit of musk, but this is not really a musky scent to me either. Like I said before, this also reminds me of "Fantasy Island", because it feels like a fresh tropical scent, but not in the coconut kind of way, more like a fresh tropical summery fragance. Overall I really like this. The bottle is lovely and so is the fragance. It's a cheaper version of "Light Blue", but it doesn't smell cheap at all. Longevity is pretty good but it doesn't project much after a couple of hours, so it stays pretty close to the skin. I'd say this is perfect for hot weather, when you don't feel like wearing a heavy scent. I'd say the "Los Angeles" name fits this like a glove!

If you love fresh, zesty, sweet delectable fruits ( tangy tangerine features strongly here) blended with something classic like rose you will adore this. This is my absolute favourite of my cheapy fragrances. This is not synthetic smelling like many cheapies, its nicely blended. Truth be told its in my top 8 of all time and I can be a real fragrance snob, veering strongly toward niche. You could do a lot worse than to drop $15-$20 on this. This is a slightly grown up version of The Escada range of fruity summery bombshells (rockin Rio, Ibiza Hippie, Taj Sunset) . To me it bares ZERO resemblance to Light Blue by D & G. Lasting power not great but the fragrance instantly uplifts. At this price you can freely spritz it any time of the day.

Bought this years ago, and now after having a lot of Atelier Cologne and Aqua Di Parma fragrances in my collection I can say this one is right up there with the niche house citruses. Excellent during summertime, intense, fresh and mouthwatering. Wish they would bring it back so I can be free to over spray!

Much prefer this to D&G Light Blue. This is just lighter and the citrus is more pronounced. For some reason Light Blue reads very musky on my skin, while 6902 remains zesty and airy, but not sickly sweet, throughout the duration of its wear. I actually continue to smell hints of this on my skin for many hours after application but it doesn't project (which is my preference). I'd say longevity is medium, sillage is poor.

In the same family as Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana. Smells clean and fresh but like all Zara fragrances very poor longevity.
