A Book Liason In Lisbon

Highly recommend if you love fruity patchouli perfumes. I think it's also a great unisex perfume. I asked my brother if it smelled more masculine or feminine & he had to sniff if like 10 times because he couldn't decide lol. I can't wait to wear this more when it gets colder.

It is sooo good!! Sad i dont have confidence enough to wear this frag. For me its more femine side, so I forced my girlfriend to bought 3 bottles. Because its discount at zara store. And it fit with her!!

I don't like the opening of this one. Patchouli here is too much for me and I've realized that I am not a fan of fragrances with a very strong patchouli note. But I love how it develops because, as it dries down, the patchouli gradually fades and the plum and then the strawberry begin to take the lead, leaving at the end a delicious sweet aroma of those fruits with a little patchouli in the background. Unfortunately by then the fragrance is very weak, without projection and for personal enjoyment only. Zara has already discontinued it, but if they bring it back, I wouldn't buy it again.

This one is Patchouli all the way! This scent is similar, although not as sophisticated, as Miss Dior. I've read it's similar to Chloe Nomade, which I have yet to try. It opens up with a very strong smell of Patchouli combined with a tart orange which is not listed as a note (must be the plum). I can't smell the freesia. It has a powerful sillage and moderate to weak longevity. It's a very cheap alternative to more expensive similar scents, which can be oversprayed without any qualms. An all year round perfume meant for casual occasions. 7/10

The beginning reminds me of Chloe Nomade edp a lot. But this one dries and disappears. So it is like half-dupe as you don't get the dried down notes at all. However short lived, it has a surprisingly pleasant smell for a very affordable price. I didn't detect any of those weird cheap metallic notes. If you really don't have much money but want to smell nice - this might be it.

I like this, it's a very happy scent. However, I wont be buying a full bottle because it smells like a fruity-sweet hair spray. I have spent so much money on zara perfumes so Im torn. The scent makes me happy but I don't want to spend even more money on a hair spray type of scent. HELP! haha I think everyone would like it. I wish it was someting more special.

This is a cheaper version with less lasting power than Chloe Nomade. I own both and used this a for an entire Spring before repurchasing Nomade. Now is a complementary body spray or keep it for days when I am indoors and I just want to smell nice.

I bought 4 bottles and a roller version. Fell in love😍 with it last year. Gave 1 to my sister and I still have 2 bottles sealed. I fell out of love with it 😔, still smells nice but I got over it

Very dry earthy patchouli with some worm spices maybe cinnamon and warm creamy woody tones. Very Bohemian style. Smells natural. Not heavy at all but very long lasting. Totally unisex.

My bottle gets sweeter after a month. I would say it smells very much like Nomade at first but now become a sweeter version. I like Chloe more.

This is a really great imitation of Chloe Nomade. Fresh and spicy. Really like this scent and the bottle. Also, quite long lasting.

A Book Liaison in Lisbon is the only perfume in my collection that attracts compliments every time I wear it.

this is just easy to wear refreshing smell good, nothing impressive but also nothing offensive

This is NOT a Chloe Nomade dupe. They are not the same at all! This starts out clean and turns spicy. I like it but its not a love. Of course it has poor longevity and becomes a skin scent in less that 30 minutes even on clothing.

This is one of those one season perfumes from Zara that have been discountinued only after a few months, but I will review it anyway. This is indeed similar to Chloe Nomade, which I also own and maybe great alternative for people on a budget. I prefer Chloe way more than this and I can’t even describe exactly why. I feel that this is somehow more generic, even though they are very similar. This is very fruity, while Chloe is more woody and interesting for me personally. I would repurchase Chloe and this one I have decluttered, which maybe speaks for how much I like each. The bottles of this line are my favorite Zara bottles so far, the wooden cap is cool.

I bought the roll-on version of this. The scent is beautiful! It's a perfect balance of both feminine and masculine. To me, the name suits the smell completely. It reminds me of travelling Europe. If you've seen 'Under the Tuscan sun' this is what the entire movie would smell like. I envision books, sitting under a tree with a breeze, and being completely content with life. It's a bright, refreshing, spicy kind of scent that would suit all seasons but reminds me of the spring and autumn the most. I will be buying a full bottle, but probably only wearing this on days I feel like romanticizing my life a bit (mostly on coffee dates lol).

I've been falling in love with the scent. The 10 ml roll-on has become my most-reached-for fragrance of autumn 2020. For me, it's such a suitable choice for every occasion, for office, work-out, casual meeting, walk or just chilling at home. I don't mind reapplying it through the day when it starts to fade away after a few hours. I am for sure buying 100 ml bottle.

I bought only a 10ml rollon from this, since my husband decided that the drydown is too masculine. Sigh ... At least it's now a reason to try it on his skin and see if this masculine note gets amplified enough to smell it on him. I have Nomade and I don't find it similar to this one. Nomade is leathery and creamy and with a pinch of tart plum.

Was expecting sth else - my bad! Totally agree with the 3 people before me who pointed out its (stunning!) resemblance to Nomade Edp - my thoughts exactly! Not bad at all, and quite long lasting, but it doesn't evolve. Glad they kept the beautiful bottle with the wooden cap, same they had in their animal-line (the Naturals)!

Notes from the box: Plum, FREESIA, Patchouli. I don't know why on Zara's website the middle note is strawberry....
