Amber Affogato

I really, really like this. It's long lasting and I keep smelling the tester I brought back. A bit on the higher end for a Zara fragrance price-wise and I'll definitely wait until the Summer ends to get it seeing as it's definitely a fragrance for the colder months. I'd pin this as a daytime/afternoon scent for Fall and Winter. It's absolutely unisex, can be used by both genders easily - there's a sweetness to it that's kind of a milky powdery incense, but something that feels very close to suede stops it from being overly sweet. Cosy but kind of in a vintage, dangerous way. Edit: I bought this and it's really, really strong. A couple of sprays are plenty. Also feel like I enjoy it more when it dries down, sometimes I spray it on clothes the night before I wear them.

It is not in Khamrah family AT ALL! It is absolutely my favorite from zara. Sweet, deep, warm and strong. Very gourmand! I layer it with babycat (ysl) STUNNING 🫶

Opens with a strong, juicy cinnamon note that mellows out after the first hours. Undecided if I really like it or if it’s just an oddity. As always with Zara would love a small set of 10 ml or smaller to explore and/or collect. Edit: okay, it’s definitely a like. If not even a love. It’s growing on me big time and I will add it to my collection. Quite linear, but is shapeshifting genders back and forth over its lifespan. So absolutely a very unique scent, that is challenging me and keeps things interesting.

From the line I think this one is the safest to blind (but still don’t recommend because it’s very ambery and a heavy vanilla). It’s nice and lovely, nothing groundbreaking but still pleasant and would be happy to get it as a gift, but wouldn’t buy it for myself because Chai and Blackberry oud caught my attention. It starts loud but shortly it develops to a warm skin scent, very pleasant and warm.

It has that unmistakable Zara amber note that you get in a lot of oter Zara perfumes, but to me it's mostly a coffee fragrance: but a very wearable nice coffee fragrance. Recognizable as coffee but also one where it doesn't get too gourmand and photorealistic. I love amber fragrances and I enjoy this one - but it's probably not going to be my favorite out of this line of the desert.

It’s a really nice suttle gourmand . Not overly sweet at all . You can definitely tell a master perfumer worked on this . I don’t really like the opening but the dry down is really nice

I don't get any coffee from this, certainly not in the way Gourmand Coffee by the same brand delivers. Thus, as an "affogato" fragrance, this fails. Unlike this, Mancera's Amore Caffé and Fragrance World's Affogato deliver exactly that. This should be mostly coumarin and vanillin, but the sweetness is not sweeting too much. This seems more akin to an ambergris scent than a sweet traditional amber vanilla one.

Apparently the girl in front of me and her friend like this one the most from the line. She did also say it smells like Lost Cherry which I have no idea what she meant with that lol. Maybe somewhat a same vibe when I think about it? Maybe good to layer it with LC? Idk somebody please tell me I’m so curious! Nevertheless- I also very like it!! Not my favorite from the line maybe the most versatile tho! -M206

I was pretty sure this one was going to end up in my basket, but thankfully I let it dry down on my wrist for a few hours. The opening was definitely more flattering than the drydown. Unfortunately I’m not a fan of that dusty smell that comes from the amber note, so this one is a pass for me.

Vaguely similar to Khamrah but not a clone, just in a similar ballpark. It's a spicy honey fragrance. Deep, kind of sticky smelling but not cloying or overly sugary. Kind of like a feminine version of Rich Warm Addictive. Definitely the most feminine from this line but still unisex.

When I sniffed it in the store I was wearing Kamrah Qahwa on me and this smelled very similar, from the bottle. Maybe my nose was just already full of coffe and amber and I could not test in on my skin... but it felt like a more linear dupe of Kamrah Qahwa

I swear it reminds a lot of to Loccitane Baux, if u like that one, u would like this one too. The only deafferents to me between them is that Baux has some herb ending and Affogato Zara leans to more sweet.

Ladyfingers!!!! Literally smells like ladyfingers on my skin I was laughing so hard in Zara. Man I really want to have every single one of this line wth

100% unisex, not a feminine smell. To me it smells like a coffee + vanilla + half of a mint gum, mixed together in the best way, 5/4 on smell.
