Black Dart

Wow was this good, such a pity they didn't sell it anymore. It smelled to me like a more dark version of La Vie Est Belle Iris. It had syrupy apricot, plum and peach drenched in patchouli and smoothed with iris, a light rose presence and some sweetness, all on a soft suede and chypre base (warm, dry but married with a light dose of ethyl malthol). It smells very autumnal and sophisticated, with a good sillage. I loved the name and it made me think of a modern dark fable. I rediscovered it in my fragrance closet, I had put it aside to review and forgot about it, I must say it got even better with time. It reminds me of many classics that I like, such as Gucci Rush, Sisley Izia La Nuit, Etienne Aigner Cara Mia (I had voted for it in the remind me of section), Bottega Veneta og, even Dior Gris a bit! And yes, it is very similar to Rogue by Rihanna.

Oh this is something I can get on board with. A peachy white floral (gardenia?) with a hint of green rose, plenty of vanilla and a touch of earthiness not quite patchouli but giving a satisfying heft to anchor the sweet prettiness so your teeth aren't on edge. Pretty, not heavy, no dark fruits for me but definitely some stone fruit in the opening - perfectly autumnal but would work most seasons I think - interested to see how this develops in spring/summer. Good longevity, sits pretty close on me but then I tend to underspray.

love this perfume. i tried the new zara collection and this one instantly won. now i know why. this perfume is like a floral sister of Bottega Veneta Bottega Veneta. always liked that one but i do not know the gucci rush references. definetely an autumn perfume and it has dark red and purple vibes. wish someone would decipher the notes tho. it is giving definetely amber mixed with leather notes, idk if there could be a pink pepper note too but i may see it??

I love this one. I have not smelled Gucci Rush, but if it is close to this, I will be happy with that too. It is my first chypre. I love the pencil shavings musk dry-down. The opening is a sweet and sophisticated floral. It stays close to my skin, but it has decent longevity. I do not get cherry cough syrup like others have mentioned.

I think.something is.wrong with my nose,I do not smell.cherry at all.....is just floral parfum...almost every one Who tryied this one said cherry smell....I smell only a clasic but very good floral parfum reminds me of Mon Evindence YR

Yes it does remind me of Rogue, but more feminine, and sweeter (maybe vanilla, tonka? 🤔). I get more plum, than apricot, and perhaps less suede, there's definitely patchouli in it. Smells gorgeous to me

Why is this no longer being sold? I was happy i found my signature fragrance. Best perfume of zara. Everyone was asking my perfume. Please bring this back. Im begging you zara !!

at first I didn't love it because it was way too strong. I let it sit in my shelf for over a year almost and now I just can't get enough it. sad its discontinued tho :(

This is opulent. Smells like a rich girl. I think this is a dupe of Gris Dior. It lasts me all day and I am so addicted with it. 😍

Reminds me of both Rogue by Rhianna and Bottega Veneta. Very soft fruity, suede. Not long lasting on my skin but lovely.

Black Dart has to be a dupe for YSL Mon Paris. Just sprayed them both and can barely tell a difference. Although for me Mon Paris needed to macerate a bit for me to really pick up the fruity notes. BUT when I sprayed black dart it came out the bottle swinging. To me it seemed like the smell intensified after about 10 minutes then started to settle nicely. Lasts a bit longer than your average Zara perfume, with a moderate sillage. I wouldn’t quite call it sexy, but definitely intriguing, a bit dark, a bit cold, and very alluring. If perfumes give you a headache, I might watch out for this one, I’m an oversprayer, but just a few sprays of this was enough.

This perfume is floral, softly spicy, and powdery. It’s not a scent profile that I would typically be interested in, but I find myself sniffing my clothes whenever I put it on. There’s something alluring and addictive about the scent. It’s very unique, but it does smell like Gucci Rush, maybe a tad bit lighter. The opening is strong so I’d say that it’s best for cooler days and evenings, but the dry down mellows out so you could also wear it during the day with few sprays.

It’s back (June 24). As good a nod to Gucci Rush as you can get. Good price point. I’m passionate about Rush and this does not fizz and blister with the same heat and intensity but it’s not offensive in any way. It lasts, decent projection. It will probs come to a festival with me this summer and be the evening fragrance.

quite hard to describe this one, woody and quite pencil shave-y, very much elegant. suited for a true classy lady. it has floral aspects but it's hard to say what kind of flowers, maybe some iris and something else. the woodiness makes it suitable for day to day. a very special perfume, well done zara!

It's a floral with a density that I can't tell exactly, maybe a bit of oud or musk. Is great for chiller days and goes easy on a date night . Good sillage, and for the last time I wore, it was a good longevity either (at least 6 hours).

Cherry cough syrup. And I don't even like fake cherry smell in perfumes. Why did I have to buy it? Now I'm stuck with it and I can't even use it as an air freshner, it's so cloying. Fail fail fail :(

Right of the bat: Yes, Gucci Rush, but also a bit Gucci Rush 2. Really like it, but have to take it for a decent spin so will update in the near future.

Definitely very similar to Gucci Rush, but on my skin, in the drydown gets a lot of similarities from La Vie Est Belle...I sprayed it on me on a very hot, humid day and I advise you not to do the same mistake. It's a strong fragrance and it lasted well on me even under these circumstances. It's suitable for colder months.

Noo I did not like this. Looking at the "reminds me of" fragrance list I see why. I am not a fan of Gucci Rush either.
