Blanc Ensoleille

I have been on the hunt for the perfect coconut scent, and this immediately took its place on that shelf! To my nose, this is an incredibly clean and fresh, but simultaneously deep coconut scent with a tiny hint of sweet pineapple or yuzu fruit (rather than bergamot) in the background. There is something very light and airy in the smell, like a warm, salty breeze from the ocean, but there is nothing hard or metallic in it. It is soft, clean and somehow very natural. It almost feels like a watercolor painting of the most beautiful beach. I really, really love this. It is also perfectly unisex. Although it smells like sunlight, I think it will be perfect in the winter as well, paired with a soft wool sweater. If I try to find other perfumes this reminds me of, I can think of Estée Lauder Bronze Goddes Eau Fraiche, Guerlain Coconut Fizz and even Body Shop Coconut & Yuzu as sharing something similar. Compared to those, however, this is a very natural, bright and clean smelling with no florals. This is one of the very few fragrances that I immediately got a backup bottle for. :)

I have had this perfume for some times now. This was one of the most complimented fragrances I ever had. It lasts enough even though you need 4-5 sprays minimum, however for the price you can spray without thinking about it. Very lactonic, coconuty and kinda salty. Very relaxing and clean scent. Safe for work or daily wear. For the sunny days. Composed beautifully by a big nose like Giacobetti. The way it lingers in the air is incredible. I think it is suitable for younger men even though the perfume is very feminine itself. In a woman it would smell okay but not something special. So I would suggest it for men around 18-28 in daytime in spring or summer. Lets hope that they will bring it again in stores.

I blind bought all 4 fragrances from Olivia Giacobetti's Zara collab as I trust her nose (Ofresia is my one and only). I'm here to say that to me this is a way more wearable version of a Blanche Bete (don't take me wrong, they are not the same, but I'm getting a similar vibe here). Blanche Bete is definitely more heavy, it's kind of smoky and have these sharp tuberose and cacao notes. I can't stand it after a while, even though it is a beautiful fragrance, I must admit. Blanc Ensoleille on the other hand is brighter, lighter, sunnier. I can wear it instantly without getting tired. Has no heaviness or florals, also coconut is kinda transparent and not overwhelming or sweet. This is a gem!

One of the best creamy coconut fragrance I have ever smelled. Very unisex, very natural, smells exactly as you can imagine according to notes although it smells much stronger than I expected - reminds me immediately of Le Beau Le Parfum I was using a lot this summer - just less complex and masculine. Performance seems to be good as well, but now I'm wearing it only 4 hours and I don't judge Zara fragrances performance just after opening a new bottle as it's performance tends to improve over time. I like it overall, I like it a lot! Edit: longevity on my skin is about 12h - I could still tell it's there close to skin after 16 hours

The bergamot almost smells like lime, zesty but sweet. The musk is super soft and clean and the coconut is creamy but unsweetened. Gorgeous! A little bit masculine leaning unisex. This is a very calm, clean and fresh summer scent. Not the one for the beach, but the one for running errands or go to work on those unbearably hot summer days in the city. It projects really good on my skin and last for a good 6-7 hours.

this doesn't smell like a zara fragrance at all-- in a good way! i am so impressed! i don't know who olivia giacobetti is but now i'm curious! blanc ensoleille is a creamy coconut, musk fragrance. i HATE coconut notes because they usually lean sunscreen-like BUT this was BEAUTIFULLY done. i can see this also working for winter time! i regret not buying back ups during the zara sale cause now it's out of stock! :O

it was a blindbuy for me. it’s a really nice fragrance. but the actual scent comes out after an hour. when i smell it straight from the bottle or right after i sprayed, it makes me kinda nauseous cause it’s really sweet and synthetic. but when it mix with the skin it becomes a nice fresh creamy coconut type of musk and there will be no sweetness left it’s gorgeous. it stays on me throughout the day.

This is a really nice summer fragrance, unisex, but kinda feminine, smells like sweet bergamot and coconut water with a hint of saltiness. I find it similar to Tom Ford’s Eau de soleil blanc, but less sweet. Longevity is not great and projection mild, but for the price definitely a great bargain. Best suitable for summer and daytime wear. 🍋🥥🌊🐚🤍

I think this a perfect summer day to day perfume. It's great for wearing it at the office and it's definitely unisex. I got it after someone said it smelled like being at the seaside, so a combo of spf, sea water and coconut. I think that sounds about right, but to me it doesn't smell lactonic or sweet and I really don't mind 🌞.

Wonderful soft musk with facets of coconut and citrus that play off my skin. This is beautiful perfumery. Indoors it reminds me of clean laundry, but outdoors it becomes a gentle clean solar scent. Thankfully, it lasts on my skin and projects just enough to be noticed but not in anyone’s face.

Very crisp, clean and musky with an overlaying note of creaminess from the coconut. I don't find this tropical at all, in fact to me it's a cold fragrance, perfect to wear on a chill winter morning. This is my white T-shirt and jeans scent. New favourite.

Zara’s version of Blanche Bete. Thank you Olivia. If you were disappointed by Zara’s feminine releases, try this range created by OG. Best Zara release, ever. This is the most beautiful soft projecting coconut skin scent, that leans more feminine.

I am very impressed with the performance. This gentle scent reminds me a sunscreen and is very pleasant. Stays 3-4 hours on my skin, and all day long on my clothiers. Soft and cozy coconut. More female IMO😊

Good but the coconut note is redundant

As a bit of a context warning, I want to let you know that I write this review two days after buying the perfume and after wearing it for two days. Similarly like when I review Vapeur Blanche from the same line. I get some similar findings as far as longevity and intensity is concerned. Months later, I now find that Vapeur Blanche is stronger and better performing than in the beginning. So my hopes is that this one can get better as well. It’s not a winner at this point, but I hope that it might still become that in a couple of months... Elegant and subtle, though the projection seems to be quite well in the beginning, but then it definitely becomes a skin scent really quickly. When you sniff your skin, the coconut milk is really, really realistic to me. I swear it smells flaky, if you know what I mean. Compared to the scent of a fancy sun lotion, like an Australian type, it’s definitely much more subdued. This perfume is evidently nice and subtle, not synthetic and in sticky like you’d find in a sun lotion. The downfall is definitely the longevity. It’s virtually non-existent after an hour or 3 to 4. Honestly, it baffles me that Zara manages to make long lasting scents when they launch scents without a big name perfumer, but then when they involve major perfumers, they seem to be the worst performing...

Coconut with coconut and some bergamot in the background. Great for summer and late spring, gives that smell of sunscreen. 100% unisex and linear. I agree it leans a bit feminine, it has that sweet note. When you want to smell nice, clean and creamy. No way to overspray it. Nice scent in very good price. Will I repurchase? Prolly no, but I will enjoy while it lasts. * Zara has 25ml version (or at least had when I got it...) - great thing to drop into your bag when going for vacation. Edit: in very hot weather (humidity 80%) it' losing it's citrusy notes and going all way coconut. A bit tiring tbh. Strong but more like way too much of the UV cream kind of scent. No more of that fresh and clean vibe that was prominent in the less hot weather.

Aptly named, you definitely get all 3 of the hero notes in Blanc Ensoleille: bergamot, coconut, and musk. Bergamot smells like 7-Up or Sprite to me, and that light, soda-like fizziness is here too. The bulk of the scent is a soft coconut that reminds me of various SunBum products. The musk in the base is pleasant and familiar. I don't think there's any surprises with this one, and I'm ok with that! If we're splitting hairs, I think it could be stronger since the performance feels a bit like a body splash. The addition of a woody note like papyrus could be really nice too. But with that said, it's perfect for bare skin and warm weather.

Perfect perfume for those who love the beach vanilla scents. It opens quite fresh because of the bergamot but then coconut comes in quite loud and dynamic. At the end vanilla gives it the sweetness and the depth.It is soft and light, not offensive at all, perfect for work or holiday. Don't mind the marketing trick, it is unisex, more female I dare to say. It is of moderate sillage and longevity and good value for money. Just enjoy it!

I just blindbuy Zara frangrances because they are nice gifts and always go through thorough evaluation in some large perfume houses and experiences perfumers. In other words, there is a client out there that would love it. This one has a lactonic coconut accord, with mellow vibes, rounded with slight sweetnes. Summer, beachy, pinacoladas...

To my nose this smells exactly like OGX Nourishing Coconut Oil Hair Mist.

A coconut version of the famed Philosykos

This is coconut and musk from opening to dry down A little hint of citrus in the opening but fades away after 10mins, than its full on coconut, helioptrope and musk - giving a suntan lotion vibe. Absolutely unisex and even feminine leaning if you ask me. Altogether a nice, sunmertime, beachy scent. Absolutely not a clone of Virgin Island Water from Creed.

This one was a blind buy for me and I really wanted to love it but it’s been a week already and it’s just not giving. The fact that it is not an overly sweet coconut, more like coconut water scent is nice but I find it too boring tbh. The longevity is also not good. Literally half an hour passes and I can’t even smell it on myself at all anymore.

Most complex out of 4 and absolutely unisex to my nose. This one could easily be layered with some other summer perfumes, while sprayed alone is very nice one, but very intimate, so be prepared to impress only those you gonna hug

Really want to love this! Gorgeous scent, but the longevity is non-existent for me.

I've been looking for an affordable coconut scent for a while and after seeing this fragrance announced i knew i just had to blind buy this one and I'm not disappointed. On top its very fresh and very citrusy and as it settles it transforms into this super clean, coconut sun lotion. Reminds me of summer beach trips, all lotioned up. I vaguely smell the woody notes, but just barely. Its very unisex. The theme of this line seems to be clean and fresh scents, and this one does it in a summer, coconut way. The longevity is really good, its still going strong after 10 hours, projection is also great. I don't care what people say about Zara perfumes because these last lines and bangers like Sand Desert At Sunset made me interested in their releases. I am just really confused why did Zara release such a niche fragrance, I don't think many men will want to smell like sunscreen. EDIT 10th July 2025 I've unfortunately come to dislike this fragrance. After time the musk came to be the most prominent note, a sharp, synthetic musk that nauseates me in the worst way possible. The coconut mostly disappears after 15 minutes. I'm a musk hater so this makes this one unwearable. The longevity also plummeted, it now lasts 3h max. Really sad that it turned this way.

Coconut is very dominant. There's also a slight salty note that I'm picking up on, in addition to the musk, but I don't detect any bergamot, so it results in a very simplistic scent. For a simple coconut fragrance, it can be worn alone but would also be good for layering.

Oh, this is the best Zara perfume I've ever bought! Most of them have been mediocre and ones I just keep in my collection and not wear but this will be an easy reach this summer. The coconut in here is definitely quite realistic, milky and creamy although no vanilla is listed. No comparison to Blanche Bete which is much more lactonic and which I also have. A pretty light scent with longevity under 1 hour for me. My concern is I've already used up 15 ml in a week. Currently shows as out of stock on Zara website so you have to pay more on Ebay.

I really wanted to love this perfume, but it wasn't quite the right fit for me. The coconut note was initially sweet and almost candied, with a synthetic quality that made me feel a bit nauseous upon the first sniff. I had to wash it off. Surprisingly, over time, the lingering smell did become more pleasant, but there's still something about it that triggers a slight carsickness feeling when I first spray it. I suspect I might be sensitive to one of the ingredients, possibly iso e super. I hope everyone else has a better experience!

What a great scent! The opening reminds me of Raffaellos. Later it becomes similar to coconut fizz in some respect, but in general I wouldn't call either a dupe of another. Just two scents looking at coconut from a fresher, non-gourmandy perspective. A bit like a lotion. Glad that it buys into the clean girl aesthetic, as with the scent being available in Zara (though it's a pity that it was limited) Olivia's great work will certainly get mainstream recognition.

Coconut sweet creamy opening turns into green milky fig , huuuge Philosykos EDT vibes. Olivia Giacobetti also created that one so it makes sense. Considering the poor longevity of the Diptyque and the high price I would say go get this one instead.IT dries down into Philosykos. Not a beast, but lasts on clothes pretty decent and for the price it’s a steal

My favorite from the Giacobetti Zara collab. Probably the most distinct out of the four. All being quite light and clean. Here it's all about coconut, and of course she delivered. The thought never crossed my mind that the nose behind Philosykos would actually mess up a fig/coconut fragrance, so I blindbought it instantly.

Creamy cocnut and sandalwood with some citrus on top. You get this rum like boozy opening. Quite nice Very easy going, summery beachy tropical. Smooth high quality sun cream for chilling at the beach. Sweet but also light so it will not overpower. In the drydown you can get fresh like after the rain smell.

I think this one is really dependent on skin chemistry. I don't hate it or anything, but on me the musk is the strongest note, and it's a fairly synthetic, cologne-y musk. Bergamot and coconut are definitely there, but not as strongly as I'd hoped. I'm kind of jealous reading the other reviews!

Very clean, aquatic, citrusy fragrance with a hint of coconut. Feels like a splash of cold.refreshing water and its gping to be wonderful when the heat hits hard. Lovely unisex scent for summer, reminds me a lot of Petrichor bx The Library of Fragrance, but with more depth

This smells identical to the coconut body butter sold at The Body Shop. Identical. It smells like I slathered myself in women's coconut scented hand lotion. What a disappointment, this is way more suited to women and it’s not even marketed as unisex

Layer it with Cremo: Palo Santo & you get the perfect Spring/Summer unisex fresh coconut-sandalwood combo. They mix incredibly well & last, too. Will cost you like $50 altogether for 200ML. If you do try it, message me, wanna know what you think:-)

I can see the comparison with discontinued coconut fizz I owe that one too ! I’d say it’s 90% similar but with less floral ~ If you’re looking for coconut fizz try this !
