No, not Encre Noir Sports at all, gotta agree with the guy below about that. And yes, this scent pushes all the rights buttons in my head. I get whiffs of patchouli, even though that note isn't listed.... it's also more 'fresh spicy' than 'warm spicy' to my nose. A mature, sophisticated scent for men 30+ A big 'Like' from me.

Cardamom and Cedar, period! nice enough scent but by its own, entirely forgettable. I have to disagree with Donjuandemarco. This has nothing at all to do with Encre Noire. There is not even a hint of Vetiver in this. Additionally this one, I would categorize as "smooth" (term used loosely) spices and wood, whereas Encre Noire is in your face wet forest. I own both and I utterly dislike Encre Noire. Like Carlitos mentions, it is good for layering, not much else, but pleasant enough. Moderate longevity and projection. Sillage is decent enough, but require more sprays than I am comfortable with. Inoffensive, good for the office or anywhere else where you don ́t want to draw attention to yourself.

It smells like the slightly younger brother ZARA THUNDER FEEL not yet listed in Fragrantica. I would use Thunder Feel (that remembers me 24 Gold from Scentstory) as a regular EDT as it is more smooth and less synthetic than Coranol. Coranal is handy for layering when you want to add cardamom and cedar to another fragrance.

Hey Fragrantica, this one is called C0R4N0L, with the 0 instead of the O, as hewpo noted. :) I bought this one after buying and falling in love with C4SHMER4N, which is now my signature. I saw this one had cardamom and cedar, both present in Santal 33, so I gave it a try. It was on sale for $5,99 so it was a steal. This one is sharper and not as balanced and soft as Santal 33, so for me it's a pass. I find it a lot more masculine than C4SHMER4N (I know it's targeted for men, I hope you understand what I mean by masculine — sharper, sort of) and I don't understand which one of the notes seems too strong to me. I was hoping it would be more unisex, but it's too strong. Longevity and sillage are really incredible. Could still smell it after a shower hours later. I'm sure a lot of guys would enjoy this, and in Canada it's now on final sale for 5,99.

I’d say this is pretty damn close to Le Labo’s Another 13. After looking for scents in the same family, this delivers a fairly linear, less projecting kissing cousin.

Very similar to Encre Noire with a bit more sourness in it but unfortunately doesn't last on my skin, but with the price tag wouldn't complain. Solid

Fragrantica got the name wrong. It's C0R4N0L, not COR4NOL. Fair enough, it's a confusing name. :)
