Caramel Temptation

It does give me Shaghaf Vanilla Toffee by Swiss Arabian vibes, but lighter. Shaghaf has a note similar to incense, Caramel Temptation doesn’t. This one is very gourmand with some darkness, sickly sweet I would say. If you’re not a gourmand person stay away, but if you enjoy the dark sweetness that this has in it then go for it. Is not my favorite but it’s definitely a good asset to my collection.

It's one of the more memorable gourmands out of all the scents that Zara had on the shelf yesterday. It smells like burnt sugar... basically yeah, real caramel, not very body-spray-candy-edible-lactonic, but still gourmand and sweet. However, just like most zara scents, there isn't much depth, though there is definitely more of it in this one than in other Zara perfumes.

Simply delicious. Realistic caramel — nothing like that cloying cotton candy. It's a dark caramel, even slightly bitter, similar to toffee. Very long-lasting.

This smells delicious, it’s a very photorealistic caramel fragrance. The lasting power is really good as well considering its price

This smells like Tribeca with even more caramel added. Love it. I got so many compliments when I wore it. It’s a crowd pleaser.

It's like lush sticky dates DNA but better balanced and softer. Salted caramel vibes.

Went to Zara and tried it for fun! To me it just smelled like Caramel, like...just caramel haha. Imagine if you were to take those brown soft chewy caramels, melted those, added a bit of salt and amber to bring depth to the fragrance. That's exactly what it is. Maybe a bit of nuttiness as well, like a macadamia, inspired by SDJ 71, but REALLY faint. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious smelling, and it's a beautiful smooth caramel scent, and it's perfect if you're looking for a very straightforward gourmand perfume, without no strong florals or other notes that can turn the perfume less "edible"

This is good summery gourmand scent: it is salted caramel but not too strong. As perfume dries down, the original temptation "BR 540" starts to appear. I was never fan of original temptation but this is tolerable as it is watered down and it is more airy. Also, the caramel provides it more sweetness and less medicinal and rubber scent.

An affordable dupe of Sticky dates. Personally the bottle from lush isn't my cup of tea but this one fits in well in my collection. Sweet dessert, almost like a treacle tart to my nose. Good for autumn. I sometimes pair it with immortal vanilla to smell a bit more vanilla-ish, but on its own, it's pretty good.

Almost photorealistic dark caramel sauce - that type you make at home but you burn it a little. Mmmmmh! Similarly to Sticky Dates hair primer, too realistic for me to wear but lovely gourmand scent nevertheless.

I get so mad after reading fabulous perfume reviews and then blind purchasing that leads to bitter disappointment. The reviews describing this ultra fabulous scent should have left me breathless after opening a box I paid 50.00 for. It was less exciting than opening a 12.00 unknown perfume from Ross. I'm convinced after countless repeated experiences that either the reviews are faked or people have no clue about perfume. Yes, perfume is different for everybody but I've purchased enough in my life to know the truth. The caramel tempation from Zara had no captivating notes, no distinguishable characteristics. and for the love of all that is perfume, who in their right mind says this perfume is an affordable dupe to sticky dates? It is even more expensive. Sticky dates is fun but more like a Demeter experience. I am on a quest to find a caramel perfume with substance and depth. This Zara isn't it. This won't ever be a signature scent, just a layering backdrop to try and promote unique effects with other perfumes or maybe something to try spraying into my diffuser. This is barely up to par with a bath and body spray and should not be 50.00. I feel used and taken advantage of by Zara. Don't expect warm, gooey cooked caramel goodness. Don't expect a complicated array of intoxicating notes. Just expect a bland, slightly lingering flat, single note with a sweetish smell that could be a dextrose sugar composition for all I know. Don't think of comparing this to Tribeca but if you want to compare it to another cheap and unfabulous scent you can compare it to the horrible mess by Lattafa.

I’d never had bought this if id simply seen the notes breakdown. Moss? White florals? Never. I’m so glad I tried it regardless and it’s already a staple in my scent wardrobe. It layers really well with other gourmand frags, bringing out the musk in everything. Buttery, caramelly, sweet. I couldn’t be without it.

This is a syrupy sticky caramel bomb! Photorealistic caramel. Sprayed this morning, done two sweaty dance classes and had a bath this evening - I can still smell it on my wrist. Currently (July 25) on sale in Zara stores in the UK - 100ml for £16.

Not sure where people are getting mossy and earthy?? To me this is a sweet creamy gooey caramel scent. Its a great warm winter perfume and lasts quite long on my skin. Definitely one for people that love gourmands.

For me this is a great Autumn winter scent. It's cozy and warm, a dark sort of treacle scent There's a sort of licorice saltiness to it too.

This is literally caramel sauce on top of red temptation. So beautiful I love it. More interesting version of baccarat rouge.
