Cherry Blush

Smells like lotion! I don’t really get a smoothie vibe from it at all, but it sure smells good. The hint of cherry is there, though it isn’t that strong. The magnolia is very prominent. Sillage is ok, longevity could be better. I have only worn this fragrance under the summer sun, so I’m not sure if the longevity is the same during colder months.

Cherry Blush is my least favorite perfume I have ever bought. I think it has potential for the right person- but to me, it smells like iron on my skin.. like Zicam.. or a bloody nose. I had low expectations for Cherry Blush due to mixed reviews, but even with that in mind, this still disappointed me. I tried to find a way to love this fragrance over the course of a few days, and I even layered it on different lotions to diffuse the intensity. How it smells is hard to describe but I will first say that I smell 0 cherry. Upon first spray, it smells sharp and mildly abrasive, but after a while it chills out slightly. My friends described it on me as smelling summery, like sunscreen, and powdery. One friend said it smelled like bug spray and made an offended face when she smelled it. After I wore it awhile they said it smelled “..nice... but definitely not our favorite.” No one was a fan. If you put this on top of a sweeter fragrance like the Cotton Candy Clouds by Bath and Body, it’s not as offensive. It’s sweet and powdery I guess. My dad said it smelled like a powder that his grandma wore that he liked. So, I suppose if you like powdery scents you could give this a go for the price- but if you came for cherry or delicate magnolia blossom, don’t spend your money on this one blindly. I will probably give this one away.

The listed notes in this are not that simple. I don’t get juicy anything from this. No berries. Slightly powdery but in a fresh way. Kind of like sunscreen. Very close to the skin kind of scent. Someone said it smells like oregano after a while, i don’t smell that. After 6 hours i smell almonds. If you like Jergens original lotion. You’ll love this!

I absolutely loved it in the first few weeks after getting it. So much so that I sprayed half of the bottle. But now that I check for other 3 cherry ones with same bottle zara came out with , I would go with Cherry Bomb. That one smells even better! I rate this 8/10

I can definitely understand the amouage reference, but with an addition of cherry. Very nice and unique for a Zara perfume.
