Deep Garden 2018

I recently bought this perfume because it was on sale and I heard a lot of good things about zara perfumes. I wanted something light and pretty for everyday and this was definitely it! It's a safe blind buy, I think it's appropriate for all ages and it is so fun and fresh. I love pear perfumes and it's a nice green juicy pear, my favorite kind of pear note. It's green and bright, very fruity, but not too sweet or cloying, with a touch of white floral. It's a cute flirty, shampooey crowd-pleaser. It's only been a couple days, but my family kept making notes of something smelling really good and I've yet to admit it was this new perfume I bought, haha. I found out later it was supposed to be a dupe of Good Girl, which I have. I'd say it's pretty close, but a little bit more simple and lacks the creaminess and sweetness I get from Good Girl. There's no gourmand accents in this perfume at all. I find this is more of a dupe of Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet or Ocean Di Gioia. When I read the notes, I couldn't believe the only floral note in it was tuberose, as I thought it was jasmine!! Overall, I think it's really lovely, a good spring scent or everyday scent and safe office scent. I bought my sister a bottle also just because it's so nice for an inexpensive perfume and would smell lovely on anyone.

Love it. Uplifting, lightly sweet floral. Tuberose is rounded out and grounded by the pear and maybe held together by the vanilla base, which I can't smell as a note up front. Deep Garden smells higher-end and better blended than I expected (but I'm also not the best at discerning individual notes). I saw comparisons to Good Girl, and I disagree. I bought both at the same time and GG has much more present gourmand notes which make for a more nuanced, sweeter, vanillic scent. Deep Garden reminds me of the way Black Opium settles after a few hours on the skin. I'm guessing the similarity comes from the shared pear and vanilla notes paired with florals. Deep Garden is like B.O's sweet floral skin scent drydown without the sharp, headachey opening. I think this is a pretty safe blind buy and appropriate for most environments. I can't speak for the longevity/siliage yet, but I suspect it will stay close to the skin and fade fast. Still, this is an overall winner for me that fills the Black Opium-drydown hole in my heart, and it's a steal for the price.

I never buy any perfume from Zara or Pull&Bear and soforth. However, I am truly happy to find this little gem. The scent is so beautiful to project me into an enchanted garden, where all tuberoses are brightly sparkle under the sun surrounding by lustful green pear trees with a big pond nearby. I also happen to love all perfume containing pear element, because if you appreciate pear, you can find almost any sensual side of it. Despite of "cheap" perfume, longevity is very great, it lasts almost 5 - 6 hours on my skin and projects as a bomb whenever walking. I got ton of compliments to ask for this alluring scent. Problem is that I hardly can find this perfume at any Zara store. I guess that they would discontinue this beautiful scent, luckily I still have a backup with roller perfume too. Deep Garden is supposedly a dupe for Good Girl by Carolina Herrera, I can't really corroborate that because I've only sprayed Good Girl once in Ulta and was not a fan because it gave me a headache. On it's own, I really really am enjoying Deep Garden. It's not too floral or fruity, it's like the tonka base takes center stage and the supporting notes really do their job in complimenting the tonka. This is really lovely. I feel very sexy, but in a more playful way. I think I need a bottle of this!

Well blended juicy pear and tuberose. Similar tonka drydown as Carolina Herrera Good Girl but I think Deep Garden isn't a dupe, they are just similar. Easy wearable and versatile. The scent changes its character in colder and warmer weather. I really love how Deep Garden develops into a tonka kind of creamy and gourmand scent during warmer days but I also enjoy its aquatic freshness when it is colder. SO YUMMY it deserves a 8.5/10 but I deduce points from longevity & sillage so it is 7/10.
