Earth My Feelings

This bottle is dedicated to one of the most common elements in our daily life, earth. It comes in a green bottle, which I assume represents the vegetation that grows out of earth. It opens sweet and citrusy, and good balance between the crispy fruity green apples and juicy sour citrus, which reminds me of plum candy. It is mouthwatering. I also get some green fresh notes in the opening, which also balances the sweetness. Personally, I am not really a fan of sweet notes, as it gets easily cloying and gives me "sticky" feelings. I find the sweetness in the opening quite acceptable to my nose. As it develops into the next stage, it gets sweeter, and I start getting some earthy notes. I think it is geranium here. I get this rosy and minty sweetness. In the meantime, some bitter earthy notes come forward. The bitterness smells like damp soil mixed up with crushed leaves and roots. It is raw, it is woody, it is like a journey into a forest. The drydown remains sweet. It's ambery and warm, with the earthy woody scent in the background. Without the woody and earthy notes, I would describe the drydown as smooth and comforting. However, the dry wood and bitter earthy aroma bring some "spice" to it to make sure it does not smell like some dessert. I cannot also understand that to some people the earthy woody notes here might be a bit sharp. This is a lovely perfume for chilly days, and can also be suitable in the office.

Not bad. Smells like Dolce K, more fresh.
