Elegant Opulence

A Jack-o'-lantern is a lantern carved in the shape of a turnip, pumpkin, or other root vegetables, commonly associated with the Halloween party. Its name derives from the reported phenomenon of strange lights flickering on bogs, called wisps or lanterns. It also linked the name to the Irish legend of Stingy Jack, a drunkard who haggles with Satan and is doomed to roam the Earth with only a turnip hollowed out to light the way for him. Pumpkin-carved lanterns are an annual Halloween tradition that developed in the United States as Irish immigrants brought their tradition of carving the roots of vegetables. And Elegant Opulence shines like the brownish pumpkin-caved Jack-o'-lantern on a Halloween night. The scent is delightful, rich, dark, and complex, with sweet, amber, spicy and woody aspects at the same time. Honeyed would be the closest term—sweet vanilla, which tastes of honey and sugar. With a raw fruity apple, fougére lavender and sage, citrus, and spicy cardamom. Elegant Opulence announces itself with an explosion of freshness characterized by accords of mint, citrus and fruit. I perceive citrus fruits, bergamot is quite present, and even a hint of lemon. It is non-dominant and goes well with sour apple and mint to create something charming, rightly tart and crunchy. The mint sensation comes from the green cardamom seeds, which add a touch of fresh spiciness to the initial phase. It's a very smooth, green spice, not like black pepper spice or anything like that. There are some moments when it remembers a more subdued version of "Eros (Eau de Toilette) | Versace". Let the mentholated and citrusy aspects fade away, and a powdery floral heart exudes sweetly. This is because the violet creeps in, the lavender appears lighter while the juicy apple slips into the background. It is still there, but you don't notice as much as she did in the beginning. This is where the floral notes come into play without going over the flowery notes most typical of female perfumes. There's that familiar calm of lavender and a very noticeable note of violet too. Among the notes not mentioned, I get a dry and resinous woodiness presumably coming from cedarwood. At first, it's a bright smell, and then it's very spicy and woody as it settles on the skin. The base is velvety, almost creamy once both citrus and herbaceous spices take a back seat. I feel the depth of black vanilla on my skin, which blends with the classic warmth of just earthy patchouli and dark woods. The name implies a nice finish, warm, enveloping, reassuring, and undoubtedly elegant. Over time, it gains woody nuances, but the vanilla stands out and gives sensual content. It's a beautiful fragrance; the spices and vanilla are great. I love the soothing note of lavender too. Elegant Opulence is a delicious, delicious, and delicious cologne with a seductive aroma. It has a lot of depth and nuance. Originally it borders on being an oriental-style perfume but then becomes powdery and woody during the dry down. It is perfect for an evening event or a night out; whether it's at the club, restaurant or pub, it's okay anyway, but it looks great on an autumn day too. It will perform best during the fall and winter but can handle the moderate heat of spring quite well. It is harmless enough to be worn casually or to work. However, I think it glows like a night scent, just like the flame inside the lantern. Longevity is excellent; I made several hours more or less, and the sillage is moderate to good. Finally, it is not a unique perfume, and it seems that they have put it together from other famous colognes, for example, "Eros (Eau de Toilette) | Versace" and "Armani Code Profumo | Giorgio Armani", but who cares? If you can get a bottle of this for a reasonable price, I would consider Elegant Opulence a bargain. It is a good cheapy that has a little of everything. I base the review on a 90ml bottle I have owned since October 2021.

If Stronger With You Intensely was too strong, too sticky and intense, and too expensive for someone, but likes scents in the style of sweet caramel candies, Elegant Opulence was a pretty decent cheap alternative. Unfortunately, it is currently unavailable. The Zara scent is in a similar, sweet climate, but it is definitely fresher and not as heavy. There is a lot of aromatic freshness of apple and lavender mixed with vanilla sweetness. Later, the freshness fades and there is a sweetness reminiscent of burnt caramel. Elegant Opulence is a bit synthetic, it also has a bit of an irritating note of ambroxan, but the value for money was great. The parameters are very good for Zara - moderate projection, lasts on the skin for 8 hours. Zara could bring it back to the offer together with Lasting Desire. 7/10

This is a darker and more mysterious take on Armani Stronger With You Absolutely, good stuff. It's basically Zara Amber Ego with cardamom added. It has also a really really good longevity (6 hours) with moderate sillage. It's definitely a steal for the price, buy it! 7,5/10

This fragrance is quite good considering its price. But after a while, it starts to smell on my skin, probably because of the strong ambroxan, and by the middle of the day, I just want it gone.

I loved this scent when I smelled it in the store. But it was too overwhelming when I was wearing it. Good value for money.
