Emerald Enigma

I don't get any pistachio whatsoever. I get some very chemical, messy sweetness, thats it. Not very pleasant.

From the cap, bliss doesn't even begin to cut it. Photorealistic pistachio spread, and no not just nutty, but the vivid imagery–ALL FIVE SENSES—of dragging a silver spoon through sinful, lush, velvety crema at 11pm. Girl dinner! But really, this spread is green-gold and glossy, faintly savoury, with roasted-shell warmth and the indulgence of dense white chocolate. This almost chantilly swish of pistachio frangipane, sun wobbling on the glaze, really had me beaming like I’d been handed a tiny heaven on a spatula. Okay, that's as far as I'll grumble. Grumble why? Because the door slams. That gorgeous opening barely... opens. Instead, an ambery rock sugar rush swarms in like a cloud of sugar-ants. Unyielding, loud, gaudy not golden, synthetic and lapped onto a woody-amber ambroxan. The whole thing buzzing, crystalline, a little shrill. Oh how these tiny molecules will never know of the gargantuan hole they ripped in my heart. It’s sorrrta like J-Scent Rakugan with that chalk-sweet confection vibe except off-kilter, and displaced by fluorescent fairground candy. The creamy pistachio nuance collapses into flat syrup. The toasty facets get steam-rolled. The tiny saline wink that made it feel real goes missing in action. Ouuuuuch. My wrist sports an amber-adjacent-adjacent halo. Twice-removed because this possesses the subtlety of a goddamn lightbox. Thank the great heavens that I tested before tapping card because this went from “immediate buy omg omg” at the display shelf to “NEVER IN MY LIFE” in the distance it took to reach storefront. TLDR; from cap, it’s pistachio to the pearly gates. On skin.. haha.

Very cozy, warm , sweet but not overpowering.....and you can say it is a skin scent! just got it and im impressed with this gem!! perfect for christmas holidays season! it’s a day and night scent! the dry down is perfection!!
