Exclusive Oud

Well, I've been deep into Zara fragrances for the past year. Their whole strategy concept amazes me. They usually run three different lines of perfumes at a time: low tier, medium tier and high tier. When those are gone, they're gone for good, though some of them eventually pop up during sales season, to finish off remaining stock. This strategy has made Zara's line of perfume very sought after. Most of these fragrances are just fine, some are dupes, others dupes with a twist, some are masterpieces. This fragrance right there is a mix between masterpiece and dupes with a twist. When this was released it cost 12,95 eur in Spain. Now, that's insane for the quality you get here. Not only the presentation itself is superb, but upon spraying this on my wrist I was blown away this could just be sold in any Zara store at some point for that ridiculous price. I've smelled just about a few oud fragrances, and while I was almost always amazed by the quality of the smell, I also found those quite difficult to wear, especially myself being a rather normal 26 year-old pal. There was one fragrance though which I found amazing and very wearable, that being Nasomatto's Pardon. Beautiful smell with quite an extraordinary performance and evolution on skin. But then again, I can't just go out and spend 124 eur for a 30 ml bottle. I could, but as of now it's not where I should be focusing my spendings. I found this recently rather cheap in my home country, Spain, and got it from someone who at the time of its release got 6 or so bottles as s/he already knew Zara's record when it came to discontinuing fragrances. Sold me one, and told me to be prepared to be blown away. Having already smelled Wood Noir and Ambre Noble I knew that I was in for a treat, but I still did not expect this quality. Now, why have I mentioned Pardon? Well, because this gave me a strong Pardon feel. It is just that with a more linear evolution, but absolutely delicious, classy and elegant. Fantastic oud, maybe synthetic, but amazing nonetheless. Sillage is alright, but this is supposed to be an intimate fragrance, worn for someone who is lucky enough to smell you really closely. This doesn't project beast mode, and it is not supposed to do so. I'd in fact not like it as much if it did. Again, what a thing this is. I feel so lucky to have purchased a bottle. I'll make sure I don't ever finish this. I know it's hard to get as of today, but I found some people in eBay offering decants of this, and I strongly recommend you to get one. You all have to smell this. 8.9/10.

1) This is a quality fragrance. It's a very nice Oud comparable to other nice Ouds in the market. I like it a lot. I Just have one bottle because when I tried to buy a spare one it was sold out. 2) I will just state an opinion related to some very negative reviews about this fragrance; Some people just don't know how to sniff and wear a strong oudy or woody perfume. - Don't spray near the face or neck (near the nose). Use chest, wrists, fore knee, elbows .... or clothes. - For bigger longevity spray your hair above or behhind the ears and your clothes. (this advice works with any fragrance) - Forget about the first 10 or 15 minutes. The food is still raw, let it cook for a while. - Trust what you get from the sillage effect in the first couple of hours. If you spray the back of your hand and then and then sniff it with the skin "glued" to your nose, you may get nausea and headache... - Want to smell it with your nose close to the skin? give the perfume 2 hours or more before doing it. - Want to wear it on a night out? Spray it at least one hour before leaving your home. Better 2 hours :-) You will be the Club King that night. - This is not Aqua di Gio or Versace pour Homme. Don't use the same way you use a citrus fresh perfume. (EDIT) - I MANAGED TO BUY A SECOND BOTTLE :-))))

@konga5000 Hi Konga5000. We meet again now in the Zara Oud page, and again I could not disagree more with you. Let me state some opinions: - Zara exclusive Oud is an extraordinary oud fragrance. - Other inexpensive ouds like Armaf Shades Wood and Ferrari Oud are very good fragrances as well. - For me both Zara and Armaf examples are better than some top line oud fragrances like Armaf Oud, Versace Oud, Boss Oud, Polo Oud, Nasommato Oud, lots of Oud fragrances form Montale and Mancera (but not all) and so on. On top of it they cost less than 20 Euros and the top niche or designer fragrances I mentioned cost 4 to 20 times more. - The best Oud I know is Ettienne Aigner Oud No 1 and costs 30 Euros or so. To finish... Again I do not understand all the rage you devote to Zara fragrances. And Zara Exclusive Oud it's really a VERY GOOD OUD FRAGRANCE. It really bothers me that wou call stupid to all the people who like Zara fragrances. It does not bother me that you deslike Zara fragrances. You have the right to your own olfactory opinion, as I do have the right to have my own opinion.

I'm new to fragrance collecting, but this Exclusive Oud is a knockout. It's intoxicating. Maybe my nose isn't "trained" enough yet to pick up all the nuances of a fragrance, but I know enough to know this is an exceptional buy at $29.90. Exclusive Oud doesn't smell like any of the mainstream designer fragrances. You put it on and it just continues to get better as it dries down. The ladies in my family really like the smell, which is more than I can say for some of my other fragrances. Do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle if you can find one. Edit #1: I sprayed two sprays on my arm as a sample for my family and I about choked myself out for the next 2-3 hours. I apologize for the early glowing review, but the overwhelming smell kind of ruined it for me. I'm still learning, and I'll be more careful in the future about my reviews.

6 feb 2017 I went to Zara last saturday for the Tobacco releases, I got 1 bottle of the addictive (the last one) and 1 of the intense. Nothing else special on the shelf that day..... Today I went there to pick up a 9.0 bottle, saw this one and the Wood Noir version displayed on the shelf, both EDP's....though in a slightly different box and the bottle looks different too (no texture). Grabbed them both too! Price € 17,95 Edit 8 feb 2017 The smell is very nice, not a in your face oud. Projection good the first hours and holds more than 10 hours on me (then shower). The Wood Noir is also a nice and decent smell but I like this one slightly more! But got complimented on the Wood one after wearing it for 10 hours! Can't go wrong with an EDP for this price! Of both I bought a backup bottle the 9th.

This is an incredible buy for its price! Has a noticeable cinnamon when first sprayed and the oud bursts forth, and doesn't go away. This is a very smooth oud which is not harsh whatsoever and the fragrance remains that way - extremely smooth and refined. A leather becomes pronounced to me after around half an hour and overall feels refined and fairly classy. I picked this up as a 100ml EDP for £22 shipped which is great - and it has good silage and longevity. On clothes it is still detectable 3-4 days later. I also sprayed some on my inner elbow at around 8pm, went in the shower at around 11pm - and there was an oudy smell at around 12pm the next day. This reminds me of many things, Zavidoff's Agar Blend (a lot), Gucci Intense Oud (a bit), YSL M7 (a bit) - excellent value for money.

I don't care if Zara Exclusive Oud 2016 is similar to Armani Oud or any other $$.££.€€. Oud. I bought it because I tried it in a Zara store and half an hour later 3 thoughts crossed my mind: 1 - It was a fantastic scent 2 - It was really an inexpensive bottle 3 - I would not forgive myself if I would not buy it Since then I already used I'd about 10 times. The first time I used it at home, my wife commented: "You are wearing a different Oud. It's fantastic... Tell me what it is without telling me the fortune you paid for it". When I told her it was a Zara scent, she didn't believe. All she knew was that the fragrance was not my usual Oud (Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir). Congratulations to Zara for making such a nice perfume for 12,5 Euros.

I have this fragrance for a few months now. This is the fragrance that got me buying another 15 Zara fragrances, including Rich Warm Addictive and Vibrant Leather. And is still my favorite fragrance from my collection even if I'm not that crazy about oud fragrances in general. For me this fragrance has it all, great smell, amazing performances, don't smell mainstream and got me compliments. To my nose, EO smell better that any niche fragrance I ever tried, I didn't try that many but still... I mentioned before that Exclusive Oud is similar to M7. I still get that a lot, but it's defiantly not a clone. Zara just relaunched again this fragrance in a new presentation, the third one, LOL. So make yourself a favor and try it.

Found 1 box of Oud Exclusive sitting on the shelf and grabbed it. Pure blind buy, as the tester bottle was missing. Going to give this a try and share my feedback. BTW, I saw another new release on the shelf which the Zara staff mentioned had arrived just this morning. It's called Gourmand Leather. I could not find it in Fragrantica yet, unless they re-released one of their previous bottles under a new name. I sprayed the tester on my wrist and based on my limited knowledge of fragrances, if there is anything I can compare it to, it would be Armani Code (in the opening anyway). There is something similar to the tonka bean note. I just started this hobby so by all means take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Laughing so hard now. Hands down to probably the best oud I have ever smelled. A perfect, simple, yet rich composition with great longevity and projection. People love it. I love it. Probably became addicted. First ordered a decant and fell in love. Been hunting for the bottle in 3 local Zara stores for two weeks. Finally I got it! They had only one bottle, bought it immediately. Every time I'm around, I'm checking if it's there - the next occasion I'll buy another one, two or three bottles to just stock myself up. For the price of 13-15€ this has the quality of Armani Prive or Tom Ford Private Blend collections which cost like 10-12 times more. WIN, WIN, WIN.

Is this a dream? Just when I thought Zara's Tobacco Collection Rich | Warm | Addictive was the best offer from their collection, here comes ZARA EXCLUSIVE OUD... a gorgeous and exquisite oriental woody scent with notes of saffron, cinnamon, cedar, agarwood, patchouli, and leather in EDP concentration. WOW! WOW! WOW! With solid performance, above average quality and surprisingly low price, ZEO has become the star of my cologne collection. Please do yourself a favor and try it, you will not be disappointed. Friends, 2017 is the year of Zara. They're really shocking the fragrance world. Awesome job Zara!

Smelled Armani Oud Royal for the first time in store today only to immediately be reminded of this ZARA I wore and adored. It really is remarkable how close they are, especially considering the price difference. This fragrance, to me, proves that the price tag on a bottle does not say *anything* about the juice inside. The fact that I got this in the sale for around 10 euros just blows my mind. Great performance as well. One of the best ZARA fragrances in my collection.

I got a bottle of this yesterday and instantly loved it wore it in 2 clubs and got multiple compliments on it one girl basically buried her nose into my neck it's not a overly creative fragrance but it doesn't need to be I got great performance I sprayed it yesterday around 1pm yesterday and could still smell it when I woke up this morning it's not an in your face fragrance it's more discreet.

A great fragrance. Excellently blended with quality products...to my nose at least. I am not an Oud fan, but I LOVE this one. I starts out strong, but then mellows nicely to a more pleasant, approachable scent that you can't keep from sniffing. Can't believe that it is only a two note product... What a great job by Zara! Haters are going to hate, but this, in my opinion, is worthy of the hype.

Yes, it has been discontinued and there's no bottles left in stock in Poland as well. This is by far my favourite oud fragrance, just a perfect take on oud, both in terms of scent and performance (and price as well). What's the closest fragrance to Exclusive Oud you know? PM me please. I cry when I think about running out of my stock of this amazing juice...

It have both the 2016(EDT) and the even better 2017 formuulation (EDP). The Fragrantica picture shows the 2016 formulation. In the 2017 formulation the bottles are different from the one in the picture and the bottle glass surface is smooth instead of having that pattern. Magnific Oud fragrance for an amazing price.

discontinued again...Has been taken off the Zara Site and remaining stock in stores are running out if not already gone...Shame really because Exclusive Oud was one of the gems out of the entire lineup of mens scents from Zara... Great smell for the price...

This is the best line Zara had IMO This one came back in 2017 in bottles same as gourmand leather (first release......brown bottle no leather). Got those bottles that time of each and also the ambre one the same as the picture above.

This is fantastic! Awesome oud without rose. To my nose Exclusive Oud is pritty similar to the first YSL M7! I just test the fragrance but I'm very impressed. Grab it quickly because is already quite hard to find.
