Extreme 9.0

Tested this a few times in Zara stores here in Bucharest First request (because I know this will be an issue) : PLEASE, DO NOT COMPARE THIS TO DIOR HOMME INTENSE! Judge it as its own thing! This is a fairly linear fragrance. All I can say in the few times I sprayed this on is that it is powdery, balsamic with a touch of bubblegumy sweetness and soft-warm spice (cardamon I think). It is in the same category as DHI, Valentino Uomo Intense, Givenchy Gentleman EDP, but it does its own thing. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS ONLY 15$!!! The longevity is good, but it sits fairly close to the skin. I personally love this and I will get at least 2 bottles of this after the holidays (when Zara stores will be lighter on the clients - I hate shopping jams :D )

I am sorry but this smells like cherry ! I know this is not mentionned in the notes but I just can smell it ! And I don't know other fragrance for Men smelling like this unless L'Homme idéal EDP ! And I saw a few persons talking about Valentino Uomo and also Dior Homme, I won't deny it completely and yes there is a light touch of in the back but men how tiny is this similarity ? For me ? I wouldn't say a 10/10 perfect clone but without any doubts 90 % similar to l'homme ideal (to my nose !)

if you are looking for something affordable and with a good scent i recommend you to buy it . it is not that long lasting but within the first hour it will smell so much that it will fill a room.

Not exactly like L'Homme Ideal EDP but very good winter/fall fragrance !

I purchased a Zara Extreme sampler pack BEFORE shelving out on full size bottles and so should you, because there's a huge difference in testing it only in the shop or taking the time to test these in real life. Like all Zara fragrances, the top notes (see above) are merely there to draw you in: they merely last a couple of minutes even less. However, they are not unpleasant. But then it settles into this mixture which seems to be a staple of a lot of Zara fragrances: the candy caramelized apple accord with a hint of musk. Again, not unpleasant but it surely lacks in projection and longevity. I wish Zara would simply amp up the price a bit with a couple of euro's or dollars and increase the concentration... but this is like... well, the fragrance itself it's not bad, but even after less than one hour you need to press your nose against your skin to still be aware you are wearing a fragrance so it's far from 'Extreme'.

First of all, Zara Extreme 9.0 doesn't smell like Guerlain Homme Ideal EDP, i can garantee it because i smelled those side by side, they only have a very very small resemblance. This is basically Zara 9.0 with a ton of cherry added and the result is fine, it's a very relaxing and comforty scent, if you like cherry, try it. On the other side, if you are searching for an alternative to Ideal EDP just buy Armaf Radical Brown, that's the fragrance that comes closest to Ideal EDP. 7,5/10

I have the complete Zara Heritage collection (Classic, Sport and Extreme) and I will review them all here on Fragrantica. Wow.. This one surprised me a lot. I don't like the OG 9.0 that much. So I didn't think I would like this. But I do. This is not even close to the OG 9.0. Way cleaner and refined. This is wearable in many occasions. Very very versatile. This is a young guys signature scent for sure. I give this one a 7,5 out of 10. My favorite of the Extreme line.

The smell is almost identical to Armani Code Absolu/Profumo on the top notes with some hint of JPG Ultramle, once it starts wearing off, the resemblance to Ultramale gets stronger. It is sweet but not sickeningly sweet. Gives nice elegant vibes and is a great price value proposition. Longevity on the other hand is not what you would get from Armani or Ultramale, after just 2-3h it becomes a very intimate scent.

Noticeably 'juicier' and sweeter than 9.0 and 9.0 Classics, extreme in this sense means more of everything. Whereas regular 9.0 is all about the iris and balsam notes, Extreme 9.0 has a cherry-like sweetness right off the bat, then the 'lipstick' iris shows up, presented differently in Extreme. I agree with the Prada L'Homme and Guerlain L'Homme Ideal similarities.

Having them both side by side, this is clearly a take on Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDP. The cherry is clearly the main note in this new composition. It is a sweet, dark, masculine scent. I fail to see any resemblance to the old 9.0.

It does smell like cherry hard candy, or even cough syrup. I bought it and returned it, it did nothing to me and I don't want to smell like that even if it imitates an expensive perfume. It lasts hours on skin but there is no trail around you. The original 9.0 is much better. Save your money.

After the first 30 seconds, this has nothing to do with Dior Homme 2011 nor Intense nor Parfum. It's very unfortunate that it's named also the same as the 9.0, and opens exactly like a Dior Homme. Then it becomes a whole different thing, good by itself, masculine, a little sweet due to the candy. Moderate amber.

Slightly rubbery, warm, pleasant but not great. Hints of Dior Homme Intense and l'Homme Ideal EDP but really not a clone, the originals are much better too. I can see people liking this to wear for themselves at home
