Fashionably London Elixir

Let's cut straight to the chase, this is an outstanding fragrance for the price. Creamy yet jammy rose that's beautifully complimented by the bergamot, peony and musk. Is it feminine leaning? Honestly, not to me. Maybe a little for some individuals who shy away from florals but any man who appreciates rose and is confident can very easily wear this and should! In fact, the reason I encountered this scent initially was because someone sprayed it next to me in the changing room at my gym. He let me have a spray on skin and the same day I went to the effort of visiting my local-ish Zara and grabbed a bottle, plus a bottle of sunrise on the red sand dunes intense, another absolutely brilliant perfume from the brand too. Ok, so does Fashionably London have decent performance! Yep, this stuff has plenty and I mean a stack of it. You'll need to watch your sprays, four maximum will see you through 12+ hours with at least half of that projecting around a room the size of a theatre. 😆 It never becomes a skin scent, I fell asleep after wearing this for a full day and awoke hours later to a room filled with the scent, I could still smell Fashionably London for the best part of a week on my bedding and around my bedroom in general. So yes, it is strong! Probably best not to wear this in anything approaching higher temperatures, definitely one for the cooler autumn and spring days and if course deepest, darkest winter. It's hard to place who will enjoy this scent the most, I'm a fairly modern middle aged man...I think! 😆. I really love this scent as does my wife and teenage daughter. The crowd at my gym all like this too, ranging from men and women in their 20's to both sexes of more mature years. Obviously don't wear while working out but this is a fragrance that can be worn daily if managed appropriately and on a night out or special occasion, just not mid summer or to a sweaty night club etc. This product is genuinely excellent and if you like the profile you'll be getting an incredibly deep, rich perfume with extravagant but quite versatile performance. Brilliant perfumery that's incredibly hard to beat for value. The only problem for you will be fighting your family for it! 😆

TR Gerçekten çok güzel bir gül yorumu olmuş. Orijinalinin açılışına bayılıyordum. Bu versiyonda sanki o açılış parfümün tümüne yayılmış ve daha da yoğunlaştırılmış gibi. Kuruyuştaki gül çok yeşil ve gerçekçi geldi bana. Biraz Tom Ford’un Rose Prick’ini andırdı. Bu versiyonunu çok daha fazla sevdim kesinlikle. Orjinali biraz daha yaza bu kış ve geceye uygun gibi geldi. Performansına hayran kaldım. Kargomu ancak gece açabildim ve denemek için koluma bir fıs sıkmıştım. Gece uykumda burnuma ara ara parfümün kokusu geldi hep ve sabah uyandığımda kolum hala yoğun bir şekilde kokuyordu. Bence yayılım da oldukça başarılı çünkü sıktığım odaya da girip çıktıkça uzun bir süre kokuyu aldım. Zara’nın Jo Malone ortaklığındaki parfümlerinin çoğunu beğenmiştim fakat bu oldukça üst segment niş kalitesinde bir parfüm olmuş. Gerçekten 10/10 diyebileceğimiz türden. Umarım hiç üretimden kaldırmazlar. EN It's a really beautiful rose fragrance. I loved the opening of the original. In this version, it's as if that opening has spread throughout the perfume and intensified it even more. The rose in the dry down is really green and realistic. It reminded me Rose Prick by Tomd Ford. The original seemed a bit more suitable for summer, this winter and night. I definitely liked this version much more. This is definitely a beast mode fragrance. I only managed to open my package at night, so I sprayed a spray on my arm to test it out. I kept getting a whiff of the perfume intermittently as I slept, and when I woke up the next morning, my arm was still heavily scented. I think the sillage was quite successful, because I could smell it for a long time, even going in and out of the room where I sprayed it. I've enjoyed most of Zara's Jo Malone collaboration perfumes, but this one is a very niche quality fragrance. It's a 10/10. I hope they never discontinue it.

I used to hate rose scents till this year, maybe it was something about turning 21 and maturing or maybe it was smelling Phlur’s Rose Whip in my local Space NK. And now this, this a rose scent. A month ago in the middle of July me and my best friend were sat at a cafe, we were hit by the most godly waft of rose in the world. We looked around but couldn’t find anyone, it kept coming and coming, we were puzzled- surely it was too strong to be a perfume. To our left we saw the only person around- a very stylish and beautiful old man with a grey moustache, smoking what must have been a cigarette made with rose added somewhere. This fragrance is that moment and more. It’s smoky, but jammy, deep and almost woody but light and sweet in its projection, the rose certainly strengthens over time as the smoke and mirrors fade away. The review that said this is ‘dirty delina’ is absolutely correct. The opening is quite unisex, imagine passing a gorgeous couple at a bar and they both smell good, but as it fades it’s undeniably feminine. It’s lasting power is mwah. If this perfume isn’t the man sat smoking rose rolled cigarettes, then to me it’s a sexy dark haired lady wearing a black mini dress in a French church at Sunday service after a heavy Saturday night. It’s sensual, it’s sexy, it’s deep, it’s sweet, it doesn’t make me think of anything to do with London but this perfume is the woman I want to be.

I remember trying this on after someone suggested it. Now, as someone who works 8-hour shifts in food retail, I wear it almost every day, and here's why. 1. Insane longevity. It doesn't leave your skin. Even after a hot shower at the end of the day, the heat from the water makes the scent emanate from my skin as I shower. A few sprays and you're good for HOURS. 2. Good, especially if you have a long day of work/physical activity. It develops as it reacts to your body heat and chemistry 3. Elicits a lot of compliments for its sillage and the way it projects in a room. I've been told it smells expensive. 4. The top notes aren't exactly my favourite, as soon as you spray it. But it does get better with time. 5. Most importantly, affordable. Also, economical; 1 bottle lasts me for at least 6 months (with daily usage). Cons: 1. You can give yourself and people around you a headache/nausea if you spray too much 2. I wore it every day for more than 8 months, so now I am slightly indifferent to the smell for someone who was obsessed when I first got it. Be sure to switch it up a little 3. The EDP version is somehow less cloying, and the base remains at the right point. 4. The rose scent can definitely be cloying if you're someone who cannot stand it 5. performs better in cold weather, feels too heavy for summer.

When I first bought this perfume, I had a real love//hate relationship with it. The opening smelled very synthetic and sharp to me, to the point that I was disappointed and ended up selling it on Vinted. Some time later, something funny happened. I work in a store and one of our regular clients always wore this perfume. Wherever she walked, she left an amazing trail behind her. The scent was noticeable, elegant and very attractive. I finally asked her what she was wearing and she said: Fashionably London Elixir. She also told me she gets a lot of compliments with it. I was honestly shocked, because I had owned it before and didn’t like it... but that experience made me want to give it a second chance. So I bought it again and now I’m completely OBSESSED with this perfume 😍 I don’t know if my nose changed, if the weather helped, or if I simply didn’t understand it the first time... but now I find it addictive, sexy and comforting at the same time. The projection and trail are beautiful, and it truly feels like a compliment magnet. ZARA, please... we need a body cream and a hair mist of this fragrance 🙏✨

I love this fragance. First, very good price/quality. I gave €37,00 which is a bit expensive for a Zara perfum, but a fair value for a Jo Malone Zara perfum... and it could be a €250 fragance without any doubt. Smells so good, projects intensively and lasts forever. I did a test yesterday. Put like 7 sprays on myself and I could feel it even after +12 h. This smells like an old rose (rosewater). The first time I tried I was like: "oh, I know this one since forever" and it took me to a 100% rosewater smell but with steroids... because is just an amazing perfum. I will buy it again and again until the end of my days. ZARA please do not discontinue this fragance and congrats to Mrs. Jo Malone for such masterpice. 10/10 PS: this is a feminine perfum and I can't relate to unissex tag on this. I can't understand how it can be unissex. Perhaps adding a masculine note but ok, it won't be the same perfum in that case lol

LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!!! yo this stuff is rockin, who cares if some people say it's too feminine, don't listen. Try it, feel it, rock it, this fragrance is amazing and the perfect amount of longevity 12 hours as described stays for days on clothes. Weather: Winter, Spring and Fall you can rock it for Summer but less sprays it really is strong on that one, a compliment fragrance for sure, women didn't stop looking at me and i was like dang i must buy this fragrance. Longevity: check Sillage: between strong and enormous? check Fills a room? Absolutely, if my mom loved it than it's great, usually my mom doesn't like fragrances that much. Value: best value for money. Get this fragrance while you still can!!! Better than ombre nomade, which is a great fragrance don't get me wrong but for this price? fashionably london elixir is better. Overall: 10/10.

Just purchased this and first off, the notes on the box are different. Bergamot, Rose, Patchouli and Vanilla are the listed notes. This is definitely Delina DNA but not exactly Delina. I very much enjoy it and I love the performance. Definitely lasts long and projects. If you want something Delina adjacent with good performance for $50, this is for you. Now if only Jo Malone made her own fragrances this strong... EDIT: 11/18/25 Wore today and it lasted super long, at least 12 hours. It also projects like a beast because I had about 8 people say, wow it smells good in here, is someone wearing perfume? Then I would tell them it might be me and they said, it’s definitely you! What is that?! Probably my biggest compliment gettee with a collection of 200 bottles or so. Definitely worth a buy!

Grabbed this on a whim and honestly had no expectations. It opens citrusy, nothing crazy, but then settles into this really nice rose that doesn't smell cheap or synthetic. There's some musk underneath that makes it feel warm and a bit addictive. Overall it just smells expensive without trying too hard. Projection is solid for the first two to three hours without being aggressive, and the longevity is genuinely impressive. On skin I'm getting 10 to 12 hours easily, but on clothes it's a different story entirely... this thing clings to fabric for days with the full structure intact, rose and musk holding strong like they were woven in. I sprayed a shirt once and wore it two days later and people still commented on it. For the price, this is embarrassingly good.

Bought it out of curiosity, hence i never owned before a peonies fragrance. The first spray you can really smell the rose, that later transitions into peonies, and with the help of the musk lasts all day long. It’s a compliment-catcher, got asked what i was wearing in different stores, on the subway, even on the street. People at work told me they could sense when I arrived. As for sillage, wore it once in a taxi and the driver had to roll down the window because he said it smelled too strong, and also once i was forbid by the owner of a shop to try on a t-shirt out of fear that the smell would linger on it.

A deep, sweet, earthy, and very jammy rose fragrance. I’d say this is perfectly unisex, loud and yet not offensive in your face, very smoothly blended and feels premium and high quality. Love the magnetic cap too, rounds the bottle off with a very premium feel. As a guy, I think we need to begin unlearning the idea of a “feminine” fragrance - there’s just scent profiles that are marketed to certain audiences. This one is an uplifting rose that takes confidence to pull off, and will definitely turn beads and garner compliments! Longevity is very solid from what I’ve tested too. Happy with this purchase

This is an absolute beast, my skin destroys all perfumes so this one must be indestructible! It's a rose oud powerhouse, despite oud not being listed. I don't know why neither Zara perfumes, nor Jo Malone, have any longevity or silage yet this collab has both. A lot of both. You have to really like it because once you spray it, it's not going anywhere. The quality and value for money is second to none. Perfect for winter evenings and less so for the office! It's one of my most complimented perfumes but I imagine not safe for everyone.

I’ll be honest: I don't usually like rose notes. Often, they feel too "vintage" or powdery. But this? This is a masterpiece. The Vibe: This isn't a bright, garden rose. It is a complex, dark, and extremely sexy interpretation. The Experience: It opens with a literal burst of complexity. It’s moody, slightly spicy, and carries a depth that feels niche rather than mass-market. The "Elixir" Factor: Compared to the original version, the Elixir is richer and more concentrated. The musk.... This is another review. Addictive scent.

I sprayed this on and I was so surprised at how strong it was for a Zara fragrance. I also realized it smelled almost exactly like Delina (Exclusif specifically but overall Delina DNA). It starts off sweet and rosey but calms down after an hour or so. Still smelling it on my hand after washing and after 7 hours. Great longevity and sillage for $50. If you want a good Delina dupe with good performance and without spending so much, go buy this.

A beautiful Rose and Peony fragrance. The rose is jammy but there is a nice freshness/lift to it. There is a bit of earthiness throughout from patchouli as well as a slight spice that is only present in the very beginning. It also has a somewhat watery and or fruity (strawberry like) vibe to me at least. Its very long lasting and very strong. It is similar to a few frags to me but very much its own thing. Very mature scent.

Tried it in the store where it was with the male section. Which I found interesting, though I definitely do find it unisex enough indeed. The box gave additional notes of vanilla and patchouli. It’s a strong performer, great projection, even from only one spray. However, if you already have the original, this one would be totally unnecessary to own, as far as I’m concerned. I noticed no difference in it, testing in store.

I got this perfume this week, and I can’t stop wearing it. It is a very sexy rose perfume. My husband never usually compliments me on rose perfumes but he did twice the first day I wore it. I get rose, peony, a little oud, patchouli, and a berry note like strawberry in the opening. And it laaaaasts on your skin. It’s early summer right now where I live and I’m rocking it, so I’ll be wearing it all year.

Smelled this in Zara and I was blown away! Smells niche and expensive. Not gonna lie I couldn’t justify spending the $70 on a full size bottle so I ordered the 30ml online for $35 and I’m more than happy. Easy on the trigger though or else you will get a headache from that rose and peony combo. Patchouli gives this a little more edge as compared to the edp version also. This is a banger for sure 👍🏾

What an amazing surprise from Zara. There's something extremely irresistible and sexy about this. One can easily notice that this fragrance is not as "innocent" as the notes listed on Fragrantica. In the same league as my beloved Delina Exclusif, but as I won't be able to get the original with my current funds, I will be delighted to add this to my collection as a good alternative.

Un muy buen perfume a un precio excelente. Tiene calidad nicho; proyeccion y duración excelente en mí mas de 9 horas fácil. Otra cosa relevante es que varias personas desconocidas me han preguntado que perfume llevo y esto no me suele pasar a menudo. Una muy buena compra quiero comprar una segunda botella de respaldo por si lo eliminan.

I knew this had more than what it was listed as the notes, I did my research and as any product must include it’s ingredients, here is the list of the oils used: Top notes: Bergamot, citrus, fresh herbs. Heart notes: Rose, geranium, soft florals. Base notes: Patchouli, cedarwood, vanilla, clean amber musk, light spice.

What makes it especially impressive is how divine it smells for such a great price point, it gives off a much more luxurious feel than you might expect at this level. Long lasting for the price, versatile, and just lovely overall. If you’re after a chic everyday scent that doesn’t break the bank, this one’s a winner.

At first spray I was not impressed, but I made myself remember to give it time for the dry down to see what happens, and I love it..so Oudy and musky with a little floral note. This one is a Beast and lasted on my skin with no moisturizer into the next day. Love love love this one.

I love it is smells very nice rose a bit sweet little jammy type rose similar to tobacco collection frosted woods rose note I am not really sure about the performance to be honest its mid. For the price? its %100 really worth it I dont even think someone can be regret about this

BEAUTIFUL scent! Smells little sweeet musky and rose so its feminine at the beginning, and then after an hour or 2 of dry down it becomes more masculine and smokey scent so fits very well for men, I love it! Stays all day! Mostly fits for cold days / nights / winter and alike.

So when i received this , on the bottle the notes are , bergamot rose vanilla and patchouli , but im not smelling any of that except the rose , the quality is superior , the rose is not plasticky , it smells so real , the longevity is still on test and the sillage is huge

I’m a total slut for this scent. A couple sprays max on arms and let it develop (it will linger). Incensey, sesame rose with some red apple. This smells like me. A cozy, confident winter scent. Makes me crave connection by an indoor fire.

I am blown away! Didnt expect such a good fragrance from Zara, their fragrances usually don't get me that much, quite cheap smelling and don't last at all. But this One, OMG, so good and powerful, I'm speachless 😍😍😍

The OG is definitely feminine. This on the other hand is purely unisex to me, at least in the drydown. The leafy quality of this Elixir version makes it perfectly wearable for a man. Pleasantly surprised!

I am surprised that this has no oud listed. This is strong and lasts for a long time. Seductive. Delina Exclusif’s baddie sister.

Kinda smells like oud satin mood but without the oud. Way easier to wear though. Beautifully blended, great value for the price.

The fruitiness in this one is amped way up compared to the EDP.

The note breakdown is kinda misleading here, and while you can get some citrus freshness in the opening, and arguably rose/musk can also be sensed in the background, the mainstay note from start to finish is that all familiar ZARA syrupy amber, and you would need some time to adjust before you are able to cut through it and sense any other notes. While on itself it is not a bad note, i would say this particular scent would have done better without it, as it is kinda suppressing the other notes, and also makes it smell referential to many other Zara scents it is being utilized in. Overall i like this fragrance, and it seems that it will be a good dumb reach during colder months, now in the hot summer it lasts forever, will see how it does in winter.

A strong almost nuttily musky rose that definitely lasts a very long time. For 39.99 this is an incredible fragrance. Its quite sweet which can become a little cloying after some time. This is the first perfume I've ever smelled on myself post shower. There is a soft almondy nutty smell that reminds me of the pale woods and almond style combo in things such as bois D'amande by van cleef, or infusions d'amande by prada. This is that similar soft woody nuttiness with a pale rose and peony to it. Very tasty. But a bit much after a few days. almost the sort of smell that makes me want to eat savoury food more than sweet. Just to counter balance how sweet it is.

There are definitely loads of notes missing on Fragrantica as this fragrance is very warm and rosy while the notes listed here are all fresh. Besides the notes listed on the packaging are different from those here as well. I fee like those would smell more like the actual scent. I can see the resemblances between the original EDP and elixir but this is much stronger and deeper which is more suitable for fall and winter.

The listed notes don't seem to reflect the reality of this fragrance. In fact, the notes listed on the site are: bergamot essential oil, Turkish rose, and Virginia cedar. The scent clearly leans in the direction of Oud Satin Mood, or even closer to L'Extase Rose Absolue (which was discontinued some time ago). Its excellent performance and elegant, refined scent speak for themselves. ****

I was pleasantly surprised by this scent. Rosy, musky, fresh with a bit of a Delina undertone. Not much is needed to fill up the room, so hold back on those extra sprays if you're an oversprayer like me. Overall nicely blended. I much prefer it over Fashionably London (the non elixir) which felt rougher and less classy. I think I'm actually going to enjoy wearing this one in spring!

As always, I love all the Jo Malone Zara collaborations... The Fashionably London Elixir version in particular is very strong and long lasting. Which is great for all rose lovers out there. Because of that, I think I prefer the EDP version as the Elixir would give me a headache after about an hour or so.

While similar to the OG, this version takes a slightly different direction and agree with the comment that there is an amber component in this version and stronger on the musk versus the OG that has a greener bergamot/rose vibe. Better longevity and projection of the OG. Overall a pleasant scent.

IMO This dark rose leans masculine. Nice price/quality ratio. Nuclear performance. The negative thing about it is that all zara perfumes contain these synthetic aroma chemicals. I would rather see them ditch those for more natural ones and perhaps charge a bit more for their perfumes.

Another hit for the Jo Malone collaboration ! Beautiful rose, grown, musky scent with a tinge of citrus thanks to bergamot and patchouli (not listed here but was on the box). The projection is atomic. I couldn't stop smelling my hand after testing it.

although i like it well enough for someone who struggles with rose notes, I feel it needs something woody. the perfume is STRONG. good bang for your buck.

You need to be a rose lover to really appreciate this fragrance, i am not. I do not get the bergamont. The rose and the musk are well blended together and overall is a quality fragrance, but it is not for everyone. It has an elegant but mature woman's aura, smells like expensive make up, the one we use to smell in a 90's department store. I think i will pass this on for someone who will apprieciate it more.

This was good but gave me a headache as was way too strong so had to just get the EDP
