Femme Winter

Bought this in 2022 and the website description is listed as: “ Eau de toilette that pays homage to a new femininity: hyper-sensual, elegant and sophisticated. A bouquet of solar flowers (frangipani, orchid, peony and heliotrope) fuse together with the sweet powdery signature of tonka beans and almonds. Black vanilla brings the final touch with its creamy facets, prolonging the sensation of skin caressed by the sun.” Both my boyfriend and I love this fragrance, he is a bit obsessed with it (in a good way). I find the longevity on skin isn’t great but that it will stay on clothes for days. I have only sprayed the original in the store, but I do like this version better I find it is more cozy and comforting... They definitely did a great job adjusting the original Femme for the winter, I have heard other people say that if you have a one, you don’t need the other, and I would echo that and say they are very similar.

Its sweet and soft delicate fragrance.. reminds me a lot of Hypnotic Poisson, but the 90's version that wasn't reformulated yet, is not the one that this company is selling today. Almond is very prominent but in a soft creamy milky way. I don't find it powdery, but somehow fresh and sweet. Bright and warm, close to the skin.

I'm in love with this perfume. I don't yet know about its longevity and sillage, but the scent is divine on my skin. Almondy, powdery, musky, delicious! I loved Poison Girl because of the almond but this feels so much more refined.

Although the opening is very alcoholic, it settles into this really creamy almond milk with something citrusy and tart in the background, which I assume is the frangipani. The peony, heliotrope, and orchid in this are surprisingly well done. They are both powdery, pretty, delicate, and lightly floral. The vanilla in this isn’t gourmand, but clean and fluffy. I layer this with J&J’s Vanilla & Oat lotion and it smells so heavenly, comforting, and soft. The only problem is Femme Winter is basically a body spray and sits very close to the skin. I’ve had Victoria Secret body sprays last longer on my skin and clothes, I have one that I sprayed for test two days ago and I can still smell it on my shirt. If anyone knows where I can get something that smells like this, but lasts longer, please let me know. It would be a favorite scent if it weren’t for the poor longevity.

I'm done with Zara. I bought all of this winter line, and they're ok except for the pink flambe one, which is an iso e super bomb. But this one does vaguely smell like Hypnotic Poison EdT, so that's ok for the price. Granted a very weak, body spray type on skin, at least, but not a loss. But I'm done gambling, thinking I'll get a stunner. They are decent for the price and easily let go when done.
