Fire My Strength

The bright orange bottle represents the element that emits light and produces heat - fire. The opening is like fruit salad, sweet and sour, juicy and tropical. Although it only mentions fruity notes here in the pyramid, I can unmistakably get pineapple, red berries, strawberry and lemon. To some people the opening can be somewhat syrupy. I personally find it delicious and appetizing. It gets sweeter as tonka beans or coumarin comes forward. In comparison to the sweetness in the opening, now it becomes less fruity, but more like dessert. It is warmer and creamier. Then lavender stands in the spotlight. It turns into a simple but beautiful fruity fougere perfume. In the drydown I get more woody notes, next to something dry and dusty. Patchouli is rather gentle here, does not really stand out and overpower other notes with its bitter, chocolate-like smell. Instead, the drydown has a more smooth and comforting woody note, slightly smoky. It is a very pleasant perfume and does not smell cheap. Personally, I love the drydown much more than its middle phase. I really enjoy the smell that lingers on my skin at the end of the day.

Reminds me of having a drink by the beach. Piña Colada, or rather, similar to some piña colada ice cream that I used to had as a kiddo. Very tropical vibes. Sweet but not cloying so it can be used at warm weather. It has very decent performance and sillage meaning that people will smell you as a walking piña colada ice cream. Is that good? Dunno, but tropical and snappy.

Totally get a Angel Mugler vibe from this with it being a fruitchouli. Maybe a bit less spicy. Sprayed it on my hand in the store and don't think it projected that much however it was a light spray. Would like to try it again! PS. Fragrantica admin - can you fix the typo in the title LOL
