Forbidden Pink

First time I tested forbidden pink, it smelled somehow "dirty" and dusty. Today i gave a second change in a different store, and suddenly I found it much more pleasing, and actually will consider adding it to my collection. Surprisingly good longevity, I tested it one spray at 10am, and now at 3pm still going strong! My skin is quite dry and doesn't hold fragrances well, so considering that, Im impressed. For me it does remind "velvet shadow" in dry down, and in the opening it reminded me a bit of "give me a sign". Nice, sweet and comforting scent.

This is Zara’s Barbie rebottled. Sprayed them on both my wrists, it is the exact same perfume, exact same juice in another bottle. Edit - after a few hours, it’s still Barbie, but there’s a slight sugary vanilla undertone in Forbidden pink. It’s only noticeable if I hold my nose up to my wrist, you definitely wouldn’t catch wafts of it. It’s not noticeable enough to differentiate or call it a whole different perfume. Still, Zara didn’t bother to change the descriptions of the two perfumes. They’ve copied and pasted the description from Barbie.

@princessy Thank you for your review - because of it I ordered a bottle of this. I just received it today and can confirm that it is Rose Marshmallow Candy rebottled!! I had been longing to get a backup of RMC but it was so hard to find. I tested these side by side and they are the same!! Beautiful smell, in the same family as LDBS but a bit more fresh due to the orange note. It's addictive and I am very grateful I have found this one - this is not a bottle I would've tested otherwise :) Thank you!!

Literally the Zara x Barbie but waaay better IMO ! They are very similar but definitely not the same : Forbidden Pink: - smoother and truly gourmand due to the amped vanilla - perfect for all year around wear and rich enough for special events Zara x Barbie : - fresher orange blossom and more citrus forward - can be a little bit sharp especially in the opening - better for hot days Do not miss on this Zara Gem, if you are a gourmand and orange blossom lover !

This scent reminds me of my childhood, opening a brand new baby doll, which always seemed to have this nice powdery scent. It's a very nostalgic fragrance that just screams 90s to me for some reason. Doesn't last very long but for the price it's very good.

I will never get rid of this one. It's sooo fun, sweet and nostalgic. It's a Barbie, it's a doll, COULD POSSIBLY also be a candy; it's all those childhood girlie things and memories in a bottle. A very wearable no-age descript bottle. THIS. *;)

~ One of the Most Passe-Partout Perfumes, Suitable for Any Season, Time, and Occasion ~ The opening it's a combination of orange and vanilla notes, quite refreshing because of the citrus, it settles into a sweet vanilla, subtly powdery. The sweetness is definitely there but not overwhelming and it leans more towards vanilla than powder, personally, I would prefer a touch more powder, but it's still very pleasant. It is probably one of the most passe-partout smells I have tried, especially in this price range. It's a straightforward, enjoyable scent that's sweet without being overpowering, but at the same time, it is not flat and can be worn on many occasions, even more formal ones. I have seen people say it is a fall/winter perfume and I do not agree, I can easily see it worn in summer as well, it is fresh enough that I don't think would be out of place in summer and the subtle floral scent could make it a great spring perfume as well. Pricing: 10 Bottle: 8 Sillage: 7 Longevity: 9 Scent: 7.5 All in all, great longevity, a great price, very versatile the only reason I don't have a higher rate for the smell is the fact, that I would love for it to be a touch more powdery maybe slightly less sweet, but it is completely personal.

I tested this on my skin only. I can smell the citrus and vanilla when I put it on, and then it dries into a yummy vanilla with a mix of powder. Sweet, but not too sugary. More vanilla than powder. Lasts quite a bit (6-10 hours) as a skin scent and projects for a while after you first spray it, which is good for a Zara bottle in this price range.

I get tonka bean most. It’s powdery. I can’t really discern the flowers, though they may give it an ever slight freshness to it as to not make it too dense. I think it’s pretty.

One of my first perfumes in my collection & is so sentimental to me b/c of this. And now that Zara has discontinued both, I will hold onto them. Forbidden Pink smells almost identical!

What a stunner. Plastic-y in the best way imaginable. I really hope that this will „ripen“ a bit within the following months, just like my velvet shadow did. As of now, forbidden pink is a tiny bit weak but I‘ll have to see what time will do!

When I was a little kiddo, I used to love Pedro. It was a pink chewing gum. This smells exactly the same! Oh my childhood! Simple, sweet, powdery and kind of clean scent. No citrus. Nothing groundbreaking, but pleasant.

Hmmm... neroli... I wish it was less prominent... It made this scent very very powdery more than necessary.

An amazing vanilla-powder scent. Definitely for winter.
