Friday - Freaking Gorgeous

Friday FG smells like wheat cereal with milk and is very much a “you but better” scent. This one was my favourite out of the bunch of things I tested at the mall today (which included NR All of Me, very disappointing, but alas I digress). Friday - Freaking Gorgeous reminds me of: Memo Paris Siwa - The Zara scent is less lotion-like and more generic vanilla in the dry down. Zara is actually closer to Siwa than Amour, IMO. Friday FG is easier to wear and hurts less on the wallet. Kenzo Amour - The Kenzo scent is drier but on my skin the two are almost indistinguishable during the first 15 minutes. Kenzo smells more starchy and woody, like a rice husk or something. To a lesser extent, Zoologist Harvest Mouse (the distant third cousin who runs a brewery) - The Zara scent smells obviously much less niche, is less rich but also easier to wear. Much lighter than Harvest Mouse, less choking. It doesn’t particularly smell like Hypnotic Poison, which is vanilla root beer to me. Friday FG is a perfectly cuddly, cozy, subtle scent that is all about warm, milky, wheat cereal rather than almonds. Great alternative if you don't want to spend the big bucks on Memo or Kenzo.

since I haven't gotten the chance to try it, could anyone tell if it is similar to Kilian - Rolling in Love? By the notes and the descriptions it sounds like it could be! edit: thank you for the kind response @handkmommy! It fits perflectly on what you described it, just got a chance to try it, reminded me of a more sophisticated version of an almond soap we used to have at home! It's like a cozy and soft sweater on a winters evening! Lovely! Vanilla and almond (more like almond milk) dominant (has hints of 90's/00's makeup, but in the best way possible), a slight vanilla drydown stays on my clothes for days. Not overpowering, easy to go noseblind on it. have been using it for around a month, so far one of my favorite everyday perfumes, feels so comforting every time i put it on. edit2: have had it for two months now, every time I spray it makes me feel like i'm wearing a cozy sweater. I like to layer it with Cherry Smoothie (I have the first version 100ml bottle), makes it more dessert like, the cherry turns into more of a cherry-cinnamon notes.

This is such a cozy clean girl fragrance, I love to spray it after a shower and before bed. I love love love this creamy lactonic almond vanilla scent, I just wish it lasted longer. I use one of those tiny refillable perfume sprayers from tiktok and carry it around with me to respray if I want to wear it. Even though its quite a light scent, I love wearing creamy soft fragrances in the winter as well. Feels like I'm being wrapped up in the softest silkiest cream-colored blanket. When I first bought it I was dismayed at the bergamot in the opening, it was stronger than I'd anticipated, but it dissipates in about 15 minutes after you spray it, and it gets softer over time as the fragrance macerates. Overall, huge love. Can't wait to get my hands on more woody-lactonic fragrances. 9/15/24 update: After about a year of maceration, this has gotten stronger and more long lasting, and only gotten creamier. That strong bergamot note in the opening has faded even further into the background and the florals in this have come out more. Simple yet beautiful.

This is truly freaking gorgeous! It's really well blended so none of the the notes stands out individually. It smells warm and maybe on the nutty side, I feel like it envelopes me like a warm white chocolate drink (not in the notes at all). It's creamy and just slightly sweet, like the sweetness of fresh milk but doesn't give out lactonic smell. As it dries down there's a mellowing woody smell as well. This is just a warm and cozy scent and gives a lot of comfort. Longevity is excellent on me, lasts whole day on skin and few days on fabric. Projects quite well too at least I can smell it when I'm wearing it but not sure how far it projects to others (not from a culture where strangers comment on one's perfume and I WFH so...).

I dnt smell rose or bergamot. This is a warm and cozy almond husk scent. Definitely more for the fall than the summer but i can see this worn on a cool summer night. You could easily layer this with a cherry scent to create a jergen's cherry almond. This is not a gourmand scent. It does not smells like almond pastry or marshmallow. It's not sticky or sweet. It is cashmere. beige barefoot dreams blanket, fresh from the dryer. Slightly boozy tonka bean. True creamy vanilla comes out more as time goes on. Zara home use to sell a shampoo bar that was simply labeled "almond shampoo bar" this smells exactly like this. There's a slight freshness to it. I suppose that's the bergamot that i cannot find. It's a great adult vanilla.

This is very well blended. It smells wonderful to me. I don't smell rose at all, which is good for me because I tend not to care for it. Actually it is so well blended, I can't pick out anything singular when I smell it on my wrist. (after waiting 20 minutes, because I don't want to review when I first put it on). It's warm and cozy - delicious. I can't stop sniffing myself! It lives up to it's name. Very much agree with review given by "shelnkl".

Hours after I sprayed this, I bought a backup bottle. It is a perfect Chantilly cream with marzipan, eaten next to a bouquet of gardenia and lily. It’s lactonic vanilla, soft and supple white floral. It does not smell like playdoh or sunscreen, as those elements often do.

I know there is no lavander note in this perfume but i get some Guerlain - Mon Guerlain vibes from this one. And i love sooo much that fragrance so i bought this. If you like Mon Guerlain but you dont see yourself wearing a lavander fragrance, try this one...

Play dohy flafy vanilla skin scent you can easily archive with some body lotion but still believe is good to have. Comforting and gr8 for every season.

If JHAG Vanilla Vibes was mixed with green coconut + fig milk, this would be it. This feels lighter and I’m happy to bathe in it, as it simply can’t be oversprayed. There’s something remotely reminding me of Xerjoff Fiore D’Ulivo too, but I think it’s rather due my mind simply seeing them as good layering buddies. Another perfume, which touches on some similarities with Friday’s muskiness, but is coconut dominant is Accendis Luna Dulcius. I own JHAG VV and it’s woody, touch of salty amber, creamy and slightly aquatic. No vanilla in it, but rather a bit of benzoin. Very soft profile. Smells like wet with seawater skin in the sun. I own some of the other referred perfumes - Kenzo Amour, Vanilla Violet Orchid, Almond Infusion and they don’t smell like Zara’s Friday, although I love them for what they are and their specific powdery, ambery or musky aspects. Layering Friday with coconut is fun way to enjoy some fragrances you are a bit tired of. It’s light, but I think it’s my favorite from this line. The blue one smells like Jo Malone’s London Rain Juniper and is my least favorite. The black one could be a softer Glossier You flanker.

@Kelijam I don’t find this similar to Rolling in Love. This is straight up marzipan with fluffiness of a little powder. Rolling in love has WAY less powdery nuance. RIL is more modern, if you will. This one would fit right in with 90s style fragrance. It has some similarities with Zara Femme, but much sweeter and powdery. I get a little peppery note in Femme. This one is also everlasting. I have to be careful with this one and only do 2 sprays or it will become cloyingly heady. I don’t put it near my neck. This is a below the chest area fragrance. I also see alot of similarities to Satine by Lalique. This could be the sister to Satine. Overall, if you don’t have one of the aforementioned fragrances or Kenzo Amour in your collection, this is going to be a cozy scent that reminds you of your most feminine aunt.

At first i smelled a creamy almond note, followed by a really obnoxious ambery scent. Fortunately in 30 minutes it settled down into a creamy and comforting vanilla-musk scent, not too sweet. The dry down is almost identical to Kenzo Amour, but the Kenzo perfume has a more complex dry down with much better silage and lasting power. I don't smell the bergamot and rose. All in all a good perfume, a crowd pleaser but since I can find Kenzo Amour (one of my top fragances) with a big discount where I live, I won't be repurchasing Friday.

It’s a warm and cozy almond shea scent. I got it because of the comparisons to Siwa. I may like FG more overall because it has more presence, but Siwa has a fresh breezy opening that this is lacking. It’s really similar to H&M Social Butterfly also, probably 85%, so if you have that you probably don’t need this. Friday Freaking Gorgeous reminds me of warm cinnamon oatmeal. I wouldn’t call it gorgeous, but perhaps cute.

The first spray surprised me. Very citrusy! The bergamot really kicked the door open. But then it mellowed into a very smooth, sweet, milky almond scent. It has that milky lotion roundedness to it. I’d love to have more vanilla in this but nothing a little layering won’t solve. Overall, a successful blind buy! (With careful consideration) zara has not disappoint me yet again

Go to pinterest and type cottage core. That's what this smells like. It's both creamy and somehow fresh at the same time. Not exactly my cup of tea, but it's...... nice. I'd only wear this on a sunny day during spring transitioning to summer. If you vibe with that type of aesthetic, this is a good pick. Last quite long too. 6 hours on clothes for me. Though be careful, something in this one can make you sneeze a little if you have mild allergies. Also, don't worry, if you saw the rose note and went "yeahhhh....no, not for me", you can rest easy, she's there in spirit (aka not there at all).

To me athleast, it smells like Tom Ford Lost Cherry but without the cherry. Basicaly just smells like lost (get it? Lost Cherry without cherry, so just lost hahaha 😭) It smells like the bitter almond note in lost cherry. Totally unisex and worth the money!

The opening is odd. You get that musty sweetness that Bohemian Bluebells also has but mixed with a vanilla sandalwood. Later on it develops more into a sandalwood scent and the drydown to me smells like Reminiscence Vanille Santal.

As much as I wanted vanilla powder from this with a hint of almond, I found this to smell cheap and plasticy with a generic kind of base. Not the best from Zara.

Similar to Vanilla Violet Orchid but that one is more floral forward which makes it feminine while this one has aromatic facets from sandalwood.
