Frosted Cream 2019

People who "cannot smell vanilla" - or "frosted cream goodness" - like all of these "cheaper" gourmandes - when it arrived, shake the bottle vigorously, for 2 minutes - shake the bottle very hard (like there is no tomorrow!) Then leeave it, in a (slighly cooler than room temperature cupboard or drawer) - in your living room preferably - for FOUR weeks, to macerate (but, not like the usual perfume storing temperature a slightly warmer than that room) - after 4 weeks - shake the bottle (very hard, for 2 full minutes) - again! & then test it - & you will find the creamy vanilla. (I first found this out with a DKNY ice cream/sorbet perfume (that I thought had no dessert, just citrus & something like cucumber.) Lots of shaking - with 4-6 weeks in-between & the real perfume appeared, v creamy & quite lovely actual. Yes you hv to be patient - it needs to settle (molecularly) - & macerate, but I can almost guarantee this will work. (& I know 4 weeks seems like waiting a while, but hey, 1 of my perfumes - that wasn't actually inexpensive) took 6 weeks this way to become what it is, so patience patience - but that's what I know. (Oh & you'll need to shake it quite hard for about 45 seconds every time - maybe 21 seconds if you shake it harder than my (v petite) self. They really ought to put this on the label, tbh.

This one just grew on me with time. I was head over heels for DKNY Sweet Delicious Creamy Meringue, and I still got one more bottle left (and I use it very little having the fear in my heart that one day it will be finished) hence I also got Zara Lemon Pie when it was out. Frosted Cream 2019 is their muted, more modest and shy sister, which reminds me of a lemon cake. I think these 3 have something in common when it comes to creams, vanilla and some fruity lemony air. I honestly cannot distinguish the strawberry in Frosted Cream, probably the yellow color of the bottle messes up with my head and I picture more of a vanilla lemon whipped cream for a Victoria sponge cake. Nonetheless, I love it more and more and really enjoy wearing it everyday - it's a daytime perfume, with shorter longevity. But that's the case with Zara perfumes. I would need to stock up on new bottles, just in case they are gone :D

I have the 2022 version and its lasting power is insane. I could still smell it more than 12 hours later, even after I’d taken a shower. Personally, I’m in love with this scent. As other reviews mentioned, it’s very creamy, fluffy and sweet, and indeed it might be a bit much/cloying on a hot summer day. Despite it not being an incredibly complex or sophisticated fragrance, I find this has amazing value for the price, and due to its lasting power, it’s a great and easy reach for layering! I don’t really get the strawberry note, to me this is a strong yet cozy vanilla, probably best for a colder day snuggling up on the couch. Overall, this is an 9/10 for me. It doesn’t get much better in the vanilla section with such a low price tag.

I've just bought the 2022 release of Frosted Cream and I love it! It's the perfect combination of creamy, citrusy and sweet. Words coming to mind to describe this fragrance are "fluffy" and "pale yellow". Frosted Cream bears a vague resemblance to Pascal Morabito's Pure Perle and is suitable for all occasions, even for the office.

I used to not believe that perfumes need macerate... but I also used to hate this one... I even wanted to sell it ... thank God nobody wanted it! I tested my bottle yesterday.... and is really really really good now!!!it only took 7 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sweet vanilla creamy with a lemony hint? This is great for spring and summer days I just wish it was stronger.

A sweet and nice crowd pleaser. Not head over heels but I really like it and it's cheap so I got a full bottle. Friend I shopped with really liked it as well. The vanilla is light and sweet but not very realistic in my opinion. Floral notes mingles nice with it, I get some lemon as well. Tinder date said I smelled good.

Powdery sweet, reminds me of powdered sugar. It's a little musky. I dont' get frosted cream, as the fragrance is too airy and missing those milk notes. I think this is pleasant and inoffensive, unless someone really hates sweet!

Sweet cream vanilla with a slight fruity opening. Reminds me a lot of Philosophy's Fresh Cream. Weak sillage and longevity sadly!

2022 version. This smells exactly like a body mist I used to have as a kid, which was supposed to smell like chocolate chip cookies. I have to be honest and say that this smells very cheap and does not last on my skin personally. Smelling it from the bottle I get that citrusy laconic scent everyone is talking about. However, once I spray it on my skin or my clothes, and in a matter of seconds, it ends up being the cheapest vanilla smelling fragrance you could possibly imagine. Will be using it as a body mist before bed or after showering.

I can barely smell this, and what I can smell reminds me a lot of Play-Doh. My boyfriend does smell vanilla And citrus. I don’t know why I can’t smell it. I only used one spray and he thinks I doused myself in it so apparently it’s a strong fragrance?

This was just awful. It legitimately made me feel sick. It was so thick, buttery, synthetically sweet, and cloying... It was like having someone forcefeed you 20 buttercream-frosted vanilla cupcakes while you cried. Hard pass.

I saw it and I had the chance to smell it (2022 edition) in my last visit in a Zara store. It is a sweet, fluffy, perfume. At the beginning it is quite strong but as time goes by, it becomes milder. I can not compare it with previous editions because I never had the chance to smell them. It is a little bit overpowering for Summer but it would be a nice, and comforting fragrance during Winter time. The duration was quite good and especially on the clothes, enormous. I tested it on my left shoulder because on the rest pulse points I was sampling/testing other fragrances 🙂 and I could smell it on my t-shirt until the next morning. I am not sure about the notes though ...You can read the specific notes on the description above. On the US official website the notes are strawberry, peony, and musky vanilla. On the Greek version the description mentions that it is a floral fragrance, with freesia, peony and musky vanilla. Unfortunately, on the packaging, it did not have a sticker label with the notes included (last year I had seen some fragrances that they had a kind of label with the basic notes inside) so it was easier to form an opinion about the perfume. Generally speaking I really enjoy Zara's perfumes, I am not prejudiced at all and until now I have found some little gems that fits the bill (affordable but not necessary cheap smelling, on the contrary, with a nice, likable smell) but my only complain is that they are not permanently available, so if I am lucky to back up is fair enough but until now I have not managed to do so, I have only one bottle, from each of them in my collection.

It smells just like vanilla dairy cream / buttery custard for cupcakes or brûlée (with sugar and lots and lots of yolks). It's actually awesome for colder weather, it's cloying in the heat. I detect no strawberry or citrus. Maybe a tiny bit of orange zest to support the vanilla in the custard. Somewhere in the tracks of juicy couture GOLD, but no copy (that I mention to only to get you some reference point). Think yellow vanilla sauce on meringues etc ... if you don't like it at the start you'll start liking it in the drydown. Stands out among other vanillas due to its custard side.

The 2022 release is literally a lactonic, marshmallowy, milky, sugary dream! I have never had this many people ask me what I am wearing. My gf always smells my neck, people tell me I smell comforting and pleasant. Honestly, I feel like I’m the best smelling person in most rooms with this fragrance. This is a 10/10 and I bought 2 backups just in case just bc I love it THAT much. Zara, take all my money rn it’s okay. imma thrive

Omg I wish this smelled to me like it does to Robynwosv ("a lactonic, marshmallowy, milky, sugary dream"). It's pretty but on me it's mostly citrus/fruity with a hint of vanilla in the dry down. I think it works well in the heat actually as it smells almost tropical. A nice blind buy though - and cute packaging!

Reminds me of cheap vanilla bubble bath...but I kind of like it 😂
