Golden Decade Elixir Parfum

Love this!!! For reference, I enjoy Libre but hated Golden Decade, something about it was bitter and off to me, just not a pleasant scent. Of the Libre line my favorite is the le parfum. This is sweeter and thicker than the original golden decade so I believe this to be a dupe of the le parfum. Bought it as soon as I sampled it, will be wearing quite regularly this fall and winter as it's very versatile. Date night, girls outing, work, I'd wear it. Very sexy!

I have Libre Vanille Couture in my collection, and I have already tried the Intense and Le Parfum versions. I have just tried (and bought immediately :D) Golden Decade Elixir and I'm blown away by how fantastically they captured the scent of the Libre line. Extremely good dupe with the same longevity and sillage. And for a great price.

perfect for year-round wear! i have the original golden decade, but it leans a bit more mature to me. this one feels more youthful (for reference, i’m 28), fresh, yet sweet and juicy at the same time. lovely fragrance that lasts forever, with strong sillage too!

A fresher Paradoxe Intense whereas Libre Le Parfum is sweeter. Opens similar to Flowers & Flames. Prefer it to the OG, it's juicier & less soapy. Versatile & classy I smell very ripe mandarin, orange blossom & jasmine. In other words, candied oranges🍊🍊

The OG is very good, but elixir is next level. It is deeper, intense, all the good facets amplified. 10/10 🥰💐

It doesn’t overperform the golden decade, while costs more. No differences, i bought it cause i thought it would last longer while loving the golden decade. But it wasn’t the case

Mandarin orange blossom is overbearing

had to blind buy this because the sweetest girl in my class sat beside me and smelt so good i couldn't help asking her what perfume she was wearing. surprise surprise smelt absolutely gross on me. it becomes very sour, and not in the nice citrus way. i've sprayed ysl libre before and it does not smell anything like this, perhaps only out of the bottle. the notes all feel very muddled to me, and where it should smell like walking down a street in spain in the summer, past the orange blossom trees lining the road and the warm afternoon sun, it smells like a very unfortunate bouquet and is quite overwhelming for me.

Jasmine is more prominent than orange blossom. Jasmine and lavender combo is very harsh for my nose and unpleasant. Spray stem is troublesome to use for a certain type of atomizer. Some of Zara perfumes spray stem have the same issue. I liked YSL Librè Le Parfum, but this is NO for me. I haven’t tried Librè Intense but I am sure I will not like it.

I was considering buying YSL libre or Libre intense, but decided to try this one before committing to a full bottle. I tried it together with the simple Golden decade and Golden decade sweet. I absolutely hate the sweet version 🤢 and I can't really smell the simple Golden decade. Back to Golden Decade Elixir. Beginning: I thought it's a fail, it was so harsh, chemical, scratching my throat, but now that I let it sit a bit, it smells better, very close to YSL libre intense. I'm considering to buy it, but first I need to try this scent only, because now the bubble I created stinks a bit and I hope it's bc of the sweet version and not because of the Elixir

This is the best dupe I’ve tried so far 10/10 highly recommend. I was home for the day, showered/moisturized and decided to wear this fragrance around 3pm. I sprayed my body and my clothes. By the time I went to bed around 11pm I was still getting a strong whiff of it!
