Golden Decade Sweet

This is a flanker done well in my opinion: similar enough to recognize it as a flanker, but also different enough to where you might want to have both. You do have that orange blossom and lavender opening that is really close to the original Golden Decade, but I do also recognize that note that in Zara’s fragrance world is considered “praline”. I got a 30 ml bottle for 7 euros, so I’m really happy with that purchase. It is indeed a sweeter variation of the OG. Like others have noted, it’s less potent, so make of that what you will, whether you feel like you need it or not.

Really beautiful. Definitely quite sweet but it's perfect if you like sweet gourmands. Smells edible without smelling artificial. I'm not the biggest fan of the opening but after around 15 minutes, the dry down is really nice. However, it does not last. Maybe 2 hours maximum when oversprayed. Very good value though I highly recommend this, it's just annoying to have to reapply so frequently.

I’m mad that y’all are sleeping on this one. I don’t know what it is about it, it just smells right. Kinda orangey and fun and sweet. A step up from the OG golden decade which just doesn’t have that same sweetness.

I sprayed this on my wrist in a Zara store yesterday and, after two showers, I can still smell it! 😮 I like this better than the original too, this is sweeter and less mossy. I might purchase this, especially if it goes on sale at some point.

I don't understand why Zara released this perfume. Apparently there are pralines and tonka added, but these notes do not bring anything new and it is basically the same scent as the classic Golden Decade. Maybe it's a bit sweeter in the base, but these differences are irrelevant to the overall character. If someone has the basic Golden Decade, they can easily skip the Sweet version. The beginning is luminous, cool, I catch a lot of white flowers mixed with soapy lavender, then it gets warmer. Perfumes, just like regular Golden Decade, totally feminine. This is not unisex. Despite the current sweetness, I perceive this scent as very raw, even elegant, but also too soapy and personally I don't like it, but I appreciate the good quality. Longevity and projection are good, but Sweet is probably a bit weaker than the basic version. 6/10
