Smells like Dr. Pepper + Iris, in the best way possible. Maybe a tiny hint of leather, but I wouldn't call it a leather based fragrance. It's close to Ultra Male. Just a smooth, sweet, pleasant fragrance. It's not as cloying, headache inducing or synthethic as people claim it is. Not at all. Performance is good - for a Zara fragrance. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

Most people there praise its longevity and sillage, meanwhile my bottle seems to be weak as hell. I'd call it decent, but due to something like 2 hours longevity and close silage, I am dissapointed. Maybe it's just an unfortunate batch. UPDATE: It is not that bad, however my friend has the 2019 versions and his seems to be just a bit stronger.

Nice unisex fragrance and really close to Ultra Male. From the first spray you can detect the specific "pear" accord, altough pear isnt listed as a note. Dry down is powdery with a slight sugary pear accord. Really nice, warm and cozy scent. Longevity could be better.

It's great and almost exactly the same as 2019 release. Performance is still very good and better than most of the Zara releases. Sillage is actually great. Sweet, "sticky" and a little bit spicy. One of Zara's best releases imo. Great value for the money!

Batch 30.08.2022. bought yesterday. sprayed it at 11am, my wife asked me when she came home from work at 6pm, what perfume it is... the perfume was very strong until I showered around 11pm. TOO SATISFIED

I tried it today, just don't buy it if you are searching for the best alternative to Ultra Male. This new 2022 version is actually a mixture between Ultra Male and Zara Night Pour Homme III, the result is basically an extremely synthetic iris combined with Ultra Male. Don't get me wrong, this smells good but for the price this goes for, Afnan 9pm is a 10 times better alternative. Zara Gourmand Leather and 9pm have the same prices in my country (15 euros) but the smell (almost exactly like Ultra Male), the performances (12 hours+), the presentation (beautiful) and the quality of 9pm are just on another level compared to Gourmand Leather. In conlusion, if you can find 9pm in your country, even if at 30 euros, just buy it instead of Gourmand Leather. By the way, the performances of Gourmand Leather are good for a Zara fragrance, ~ 6 hours or so but still not worth it seeing the existence of 9pm. 8/10

Pretty close to JPG Ultra Male. Smells great, bubble gummy from that iris/suede leather combo but I don't get much bergamot in this. Worth the money. If you're familiar with JPG Ultra Male, consider it a safe blind buy for you. This can be worn year round, easy on the sprayer for summer, perhaps best on summer nights with a lighter spray but otherwise would avoid it during that season. Definitely unisex.

A cheap alternative to Iris scents like Dior Homme intense or Givenchy EDT Intense. Sadly is not as performant as I'd like in my skin. First spray makes you like it a lot, but after 10-15 minutes it just decays into a plain makeupy leathery scent. It could perfectly be a unisex night clubbing fragance. For 10-15 euros, it does what it can, but there's no comparison to the bigger brands once it dries.

I don’t understand any of the notes listed, I get pear & cinnamon vibes 1st spray has similarities to a bubble gum like flavour but then settles to a more mature scent. Lasts 4ish hours on my skin with a moderate sillage. Can’t complain for $10 au 👌

@yigitsteam1 they brought back Hi-Lo Country, which is allegedly 95% similar, go figure

Bought this because I loved the 2017 version (I actually have the 2018 re-issue which has all brown bottle instead of the OG silver cap). Was very disappointed when I smelled it because they’ve definitely changed the formula. It still does retain its warmth, but it doesn’t have the sweetness and actually smells “damp” in comparison. I had originally bought two bottles of 2017 and wish I had bought more now that I can see the main accords differ between the two. The absence of vanilla, amber and tonka bean has created a totally different cologne altogether - the sweetness has been replaced with a smokier profile that confuses my nose as I am expecting something more aromatic. The only way that I can salvage this purchase is if I layer it with my Eau Duelle EPT from Diptyque. The combo smells much like the original and I’m sure this can be achieved with other vanilla/amber perfumes.

Essentially Zara's JPG Ultra Male clone. Sweet, smooth and bubble gummy. Surprisingly wearable too, not just as a clubbing scent for teens. If you smell them side by side with Ultra Male then you can tell some slight differences. Ultra Male is fresher, Gourmand leather is like if you mixed 90% of Ultra Male with 10% of Armani Code Profumo. The performance is really good, way better than your average Zara scent. Overall an insanely good fragrance. I think this is the best release from Zara ever. I never buy backup bottles of anything but I have several of this one. It's my girlfriend's favorite fragrance. I'm not sure what more to tell you. This would be a bargain even if it cost more than Ultra Male, but it somehow costs only a fraction.

This is Zara’s take on Ultra Male. It also slightly resembles Prada Luna Rossa Ocean because of the Iris in here is similar to the way Prada does Iris in Ocean. Performance sadly is not nearly as good as Ultra Male or Prada. The juice is high quality and smells fantastic but no where near projection of Ultra Male. For value, I think Ultra Male is still a better pick up. If you’re able to pick up Afnan 9PM that’s also a better option. Unless you get this on sale for $9.90 the price to value proposition is meh.

Zara really put a big amount off iris , this dont seem to be much potent fragrance , but the iris its strong , by the way when you smell will remind you off Ultra Male , but the last Gourmand Leather versions was better

Available again in July 2026. 100ml Vibrant Leather-style bottle for 19.95€. This was always such a good release and it's double true now that Ultra Male is discontinued.

This one is okay, it still gives that Ultra Male vibe, but not as good as the OG 2017 version or the 2019 version. I'd pass if one can acquire those ones locally.

Very sweet and lasts long on skin. The dry down isn't as sweet as the opening. It gets a bit calmer and spicier. Don't overspray it, it will be overwhelming.

Definitely got the ultramale sharpeness, it is a clubbing/night out frag. performance is ok for a zara, but not quite there.
