Hibiscus

Right from the top, you get a burst of citrus from the bitter orange and mandarin. The heart note fruits of mango and passion fruit are definitely adding depth to the citrus. It's super juicy, literally, like a citrus fruit punch. I think the peony blends into this so well that you barely notice it. The dry down is still that tropical punch and very subtly amber. The sillage goes for a good 1 - 3 hours and you're left with a clean girly, fruity scent that sits close to the skin. All the Zara fruity perfumes seem to leave you with a subtle clean scent after the sillage has done its job.

Fruity, tropical, girly. SO GOOD. If you know Miami Glow by JLo, it’s of the same vein in terms of fragrance type. Tropical fruits, clean, refreshing, girly, sexy. But scent wise, they give different things. Hibiscus is sexy and tropical in a way that appeals to those of all ages. It’s not super young, although the image that comes to mind for me is a 20-something on holiday. You simply cannot dislike this. It’s a pick-me-up, it’s refreshing, and although I haven’t owned it during summer months I bet it would smell EVEN BETTER in heat. In cooler weather it can disappear after 4-5 hours but I have a strong feeling that in heat it would last all day. I also imagine this fragrance would blend quite nicely with sweat if that makes sense (as in it wouldn’t sour!). For £13 you really need this one. I don’t care who you are or what your taste it, you will find pleasure in this one! I love it and recommend to all.

Tropical, juicy and sweet 🥭🍍🍊🍋🍦 It really does smell like mango, passionfruit and also pineapple even tho theres no pineapple note listed! Settles to a warm vanilla but I still get the fruits and a teensy bit of floral. It’s like eating a bowl of rich vanilla ice cream with mango and passionfruit on top (Ive eaten that combo several times 🤤). Sits closer to the skin once the vanilla starts to show but I still get whiffs hours later. Absolutely love this fragrance. The corner of my room where I sprayed still smells delicious. It reminds me of Sol De Janeiro’s limited edition Anitta spray, minus patchouli which I can appreciate because I’m not the biggest fan of that note. Not getting much tangerine or bitter orange tho. Definitely not too sweet like love dont be shy or any of those, it’s really well balanced. Backups are needed for sure 🏝 🌞 🍹 🌺 Update: why does this now remind me of My Way??

i really love this! summers here are usually really humid so i love wearing lighthearted fruity perfumes, but maybe not anything aquatic-fresh since they remind me of not-so-pleasant memories... i still look for a bit of sweetness in my perfumes and this is perfect! such a lively, lovely, sweet fruity summer fragrance! i think i’m picking up on some pineapple too and i’m loving it. it makes me feel feminine and cute. a little fresh, sweet tropical scent that doesn’t pull tart or sour. i think it works with my skin’s chemistry, it’s my first time enjoying a "tropical" scent. with the category that it's at Hibiscus could easily get generic, yet the blend is perfect. i want to wear a sundress and put flowers in my hair when i’m wearing this🌺 edit: on me lasts about 4-6 hours edit: layers beautifully with VS Bombshell & Zara Orchid. it's very feminine and elegant, yet still cheerful

I love this. I also own Solo Ella, by Loewe, and it's not a dupe at all, Solo Ella Loewe (which at first spray is straight up orange) does smell very well blended and is a totally different experience. But Hibiscus Zara is so fun and lovely and enjoyable. I love spraying it on, it's a vivid smelling fruity - mango, orange, red fruit - cocktail that is perfect for warmer weather. The silage is good, I do get wafts of this thought the day as I move right after spraying and even some time after, the projection is a bit more than arms length so again, strong for a Zara offering. Love it.
