Cuir Velvet

A very decent offering from Zara. This line from Zara home is really a new level of quality, lately they've provided many perfumes that resemble iconic perfumes like Aventus and so on, yet their quality wasn't up to the standard and by far below normal designer scents. This line takes Zara to a whole new level, I wouldn't say it's niche of course, but having a name of a famous designer behind the bottle adds a lot in popularity and price point. Cuir Velvet is clearly a Dior Suavage clone but with a very decent quality and it's not very cheap actually to start with, but the bottle is pretty, the scent is lovable and with a fairly good quality, the longevity is excellent as well as the projection. I tried today the line from "The Body Shop" and honestly this line from Zara is by more modern and upbeat, the prices were the same but considering that the body shop bottles were 50ml only, hat Zara has 100 ml bottles. If you have Sauvage then this would be redundant, but if not then it's worth considering as an alternative.

This is a very very very pleasing, unoffensive version of Sauvage. Is a Sauvage version for one who does not want to be a protagonist, yet smell fantastic. I own both and use them for different occasions.

Meh. On me, the generic supermarket shaving cream I used to use for shaving my legs in my early teens before I started waxing (I am a woman). Not something I want to smell of :)

This is Sauvage like frag but not quite. I get the light sauvage opening with just the right amount of sweet. To me this is clean fresh and sterile. Very sterile frag but in a good way. Imagine wearing sauvage and browsing home department store, looking for a new woody kitchen or a bedroom. Totally this store feeling. If gray color had a smell, this would definitely be it. Not bad at all if you are into those kind of frags. There are better offerings that smell like sauvage. If you are opening a store and want the smell for it, get this and spray it around. Ppl will love it.

Mainly ,I like much the most of ZARA fragrances for everyday social settings when walking,standing or sitting near homely everyday unknown women and men on the street,in the supermarket,in the bank... and to this end the most of the fragrances of Zara are wonderfully befitting.This one fragrance Cuir Velvet has a lovely,everyday smell for everyday social settings and happenings.

I used to love this , basically a less offensive , creamier sauvage. I preferred it because it wasn’t as “in your face” as sauvage but kept a similar scent profile. Very nice stuff , the hand cream was excellent too

Well, it happens that Dior Sauvage, Mr. Burberry, Versace Dylan Blue... already exist. This is pretty close to all of them and you already know what this means. Manly, trendy, crowdpleasant and not bad at all! 6/10
