Hypnotic Vanilla

Hypnotic Vanilla has become one of my all time favorites, I absolutely adore it. I got it mostly because people said it was a dupe for Hypnotic Poison and yes, it is. Now granted, I didn't own a bottle of HP back when it came out because I foolishly didn't try it on myself because then, to me, Dior usually smelled a bit mature or matronly. You have to forgive me, my young nose was way more into fresh and light, with CK One and CK Be, Carolina Herrera 212, Noa by Cacharel etc. being my usual go to fragrances and Dior simply was yet to be understood by my 15 year old self. I do remember smelling it on my stepmom and thinking it smelled nice but way too grown up for me. I finally purchased a bottle of it last year and although it smells similar to what I remember (obviously as I never tried it on myself and only smelled it coming from someone else, I am not familiar with the nuances and complexities of HP before it got reformulated) and while I love the smell of it, I absolutely loathe it as the performance is a joke. And I have oily skin that grabs on to fragrance for it's dear life. I'm appalled that Dior offers this in its current condition - yes I am aware that due to the regulations in recent years some things had to be changed but I've started to believe that some of the designer houses have used this as an excuse to make weaker fragrances for an even higher price. Performance is weaker = people spray more = buy it more often. The reason I believe this is that many fragrances are being released by companies that follow these regulations and still manage to give us decent longevity and projection for way lower prices. As a result I'm smelling something fishy within the designer perfume market. And HP sadly disappears within 3 hours after staying close to my skin - people can smell me if they hug me or sniff me and I can barely smell it on myself during that time. OK, so random complaints aside, I love the smell of HP but not so much the price for the performance so I've been actively hunting out good dupes. Zara has been knocking it out of the park recently for me so when Hypnotic Vanilla came on my radar it was an easy blind buy decision. Man, I'm glad I bought it. I love it. It's no performance monster but it lasts me about 7 hours with decent projection in the first 4, and after that it sits closer to my skin, but does not disappear until the 7 hour mark. In terms of scent - yes, I'm absolutely reminded of HP. I'm very surprised to see some reviews say it doesn't. I still have my bottle of HP and have compared them wrist to wrist and the main difference is that HP is denser and with a more prominent almond note (I think that's what some people describe as a playdough note, and the only play dough I was familiar with as a kid smelled of nothing, perhaps a bit waxy but that was it. And since I'm not an American, the rootbeer note doesn't register either - I've only once tried rootbeer and to me it tastes and smells like soda with toothpaste wich is nothing like what HP reminds me of. But different noses, different olfactory experiences). The almond note in HP is also a bit powdery to me. Overall it's a deep sultry vanilla with a prominent almond note and tiny bit of licorice on the side. Hypnotic Vanilla is like a diet version of HP and I mean that in the nicest, most flattering way possible. By no means am I saying that it's lackluster or flat - I'm just saying that the depth of HP is not there in HV but in a good way? The almond has been toned down a lot and I smell no licorice either but the vanilla is still absolutely beautiful with almond peeking through, instead of dominating the scent. Do I dare say I love Hypnotic Vanilla even more than HP? HV has this watery (not ozonic or salty) and airy element to it that I just love. I really don't understand people who dislike this scent unless they're just not fans of vanilla in general. If you are looking for an exact replica of HP, no, you will not find it in HV because of the lack of depth in HV - but if you'd care to experience a lighter, watery (not weak) version of it, that still is very similar to the HP DNA, I would always recommend it. As a stand alone fragrance I'd recommend it in a heartbeat if you like a good vanilla fragrance. If you need your vanilla to be very complex then you might not like it, but it's far from the cookie cutter bakery vanilla either. I feel like I smell like a vanilla fairy hopping between almond blossoms with a slight breeze in my hair, sunshine warming up my skin after a swim in a beautiful lake nearby. I hope Zara never discontinues this. Edit to add: And I have to disagree with Hypnotic Vanilla being closer to Kenzo Amore - I have Amore as well and that one, while certainly staying within the same realm as HP and HV, is way more powdery than either of those. I'd never suggest Amore as an alternative to Hypnotic Poison as it's very baby powder vanilla, cute and inoffensive while Hypnotic Poison is sexy and deep. Hypnotic Vanilla is even further from Amore than that.

As someone who used to love HP before it was reformulated, I was gifted this for Christmas and was instantly transported back to high school 2002, I was brought HP for Christmas 2001 by my grandmother and sprayed it to oblivion thinking I was the bees knees having a Dior perfume! It came to school with me every day, friends would ask if they could spray it ‘just one spray, it’s strong and I want it to last’ I’d tell them, that was rich coming from the girl who’d practically bathed in it just moments earlier right before their eyes. Hypnotic Vanilla has the depth of the original HP, minus the playdough note that caused me to retire it forever. It also has the longevity of the original, 8-10 hours on my skin which doesn’t usually hold fragrance well. It has the slightest powderyness that isn’t ‘old’ but adds to the depth. I don’t get the apricot blossom or much fruitiness atall. I just get the most incredible deep vanilla with almond (even though almond isn’t listed as a note, to my nose it’s there) it’s not a bitter almond either. Hypnotic Vanilla is sultry, sexy, dark, mysterious and fluffy without being too gourmand. It doesn’t have a baked cookies type of vanilla vibe and does not smell even the slightest bit cheap. For £22.99 for 80ml of such a beautiful fragrance I will wear this in the summer aswell as winter months with confidence. It’s not a perfume I’m going to just wear around the house, it isn’t a juvenile candy basic vanilla scent, it has depth and some serious legs. I will never buy HP again, it doesn’t even come close to the sillage or longevity of this. Yes, I do what is called ‘overspray’ sometimes - behind my ears, pulse points, chest, my hair and then clothes. No I am not ashamed of overspraying. After years of my perfumes never lasting more than an hour, even expensive ones, I discovered that the only way to get them to last so I get value for money is by spraying a little more. Not 20 sprays but 8-10 of some scents. Though Hypnotic Vanilla doesn’t need more than 6-8 to last all day and well into the night. It’s a lovely bedtime fragrance too, if I apply this ontop of EOS Vanilla Cashmere body lotion after my evening shower, I will still smell Hypnotic Vanilla in the morning. It lingers in my hair, my pillows and bedding. It does have a slightly oily feel on skin, but to me that is not a bad thing, I actually think this oil like residue is part of what makes HV last as long as it does. It’s Summer here now in the UK. I’m still wearing this from time to time, it isn’t cloying due to it not being too sweet or sickly, the notes dance on my skin like a dream no matter the weather although I do think that it will be absolutely perfect for winter and evenings, I’m happy to wear it in warmer weather and day time. I got through 30ml of this in 2 weeks - not even daily use and had to buy the 80ml, I just loved it so much I reapplied sometimes throughout the day just because I wanted to smell those initial notes again. It doesnt need reapplying though, its strong and long lasting. But not headache inducing. Some evenings I will apply 1 spray behind each ear before bed and drift off to sleep in the most wonderful silky vanilla and almond cloud. It is very smooth, and I know I smell good when I wear it. I’ve had more compliments on this £22/80ml fragrance that ANY of my others. Infact I’ve had more compliments on this in just a few short months than I’ve ever had on any fragrance ever! It doesn’t smell like a cheap Hypnotic Poison rip off atall. It smells more like HP than the current HP does! It reminds me of Christmas morning with my since passed grandparents, my grandma clearing up wrapping paper, my mother cooking from the break of dawn and my since passed dad fussing over his turkey. And then there’s me, spraying the classic Hypnotic Poison all over me, at my happiest, feeling like the coolest kid in the world because I have a bottle of Dior perfume. Zara has done amazing with this scent and I will be trying more from the range, I have a list ready to order. If you love vanilla, but not synthetic cheap vanilla, and also miss the old Hypnotic Poison, then grab a bottle of this, the 30ml is only £12.99 and I honestly don’t think you would go back to whatever the stuff they call Hypnotic Poison now is.. honestly, I can’t believe how beautiful, strong and long lasting this scent is without being ‘too much’ I love Hypnotic Vanilla, infact I put it on about an hour ago, ready for bed and it is going strong and I know it will still be on my skin in the morning. I don’t think you have to be either young or old to wear this. Any age can pull it off, my 15 year old started to steal it to wear for school so now she has her own bottle that she takes in her school bag, all her friends borrow it and love it. It’s a fragrance that is affordable for any age but doesn’t smell cheaply made by any means. It smells luxurious and like it could be £80 a bottle. I think I’d still buy it if it was because it’s worth every single penny!

I’ll write this as two reviews, for the people who are curious about HV as a potential vanilla scent, and for the people curious about it as a dupe for HP. As a vanilla scent on its own: on the paper, HV is a mossy vanilla-caramel, with a fresh, powdery undertone from the florals. It’s not a ‘pure’ vanilla scent, so it would work well for the people that want a vanilla perfume, but find straight vanilla fragrances kind of thin and boring. That said, I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone going for the ‘clean girl’ aesthetic. There’s a bit of green to it, but if it’s less ‘came out of the shower’ and more ‘old cableknit sweater that you wear when hiking, with vanilla perfume caked between the wool’. If I had to recommend it to anyone, I’d recommend it to the Tik Tok girlies who’re still deep in their ‘Y2K Slavic bimbo ushanka+shuba’ phase. HV was created to smell similar to Hypnotic Poision, which came out in ‘97 and was a big hit. Along with the oakmoss, which is something you don’t see as much anymore, I’d say HV has a bit of an old-fashioned, late-90s glam to it. If that’s what you’re going for, buy it. It’s dirt-cheap and lasts about 6 hours. As an HP dupe.... Use your brain, and test it out in store. The notes are completely different. I wore HP throughout secondary school, and so I’d say I’m very familiar with it. They’re totally identical, but HP was always an earthy, powdery vanilla-woods scent on me. I never got much coconut or almond out of HP, in the same way I don’t get much caramel out of HV. If HP runs vanilla-almond Play-Doh on you, this isn’t the right fit. If it runs woody, you might really like this. Personally, I enjoy it more than the original HP. For one, HP is incredibly strong, which isn’t a bad thing... until you consider just how powdery it is. HV is long-lasting but it’s subtler and so it doesn't get on my nerves, and I don’t need to be as careful. The bottle is also much nicer. To each their own, but I don’t know what the people at Dior were smoking when they decided to change that sultry, vampiric dark red bottle out for an opaque, red-and-black mall-goth looking MONSTROSITY. Even the Britney Spears perfume I purchased at Marshall’s looks more expensive than that. It’s so bad that I can’t justify repurchasing it because I hate it so, so much. It should be classified as a crime against humanity. But luckily Hypnotic Vanilla smells the same (on me), is a quarter of the cost, and comes in nicer packaging. Yippee!!

This was really unexpected for me. I think this is the fastest I have used up a bottle (30 ml in about 6 weeks). I was curious about dior hypnotic poison but haven't been able to find any place to smell it. I smelled this in store and after checking reviews, I saw the comparisons. Now I have no care to try hypnotic poison as long as this exists because I love it so much. I would describe it as a "dry" vanilla and marzipan. It's not too sweet or warm. This doesn't pull as play-doh to me, but I see how it could for others. I think why I like this scent is that it scratches at some faded memory that I can't conjure up completely. The soft smell of a doll's skin or hair I had in the 90's? The longevity is an easy 10 hours or more. I feel like I am crawling out of my skin now that this bottle is finished because I so badly want to run and get the large bottle. But I've decided to hold off for a bit and give some love to my other perfumes now that it is spring.

A dark and sophisticated vanilla- sweet but with a dark depth. To me this is definitely not a gourmand! Possibly gourmand adjacent like how Angel Mugler is. Smells of vanilla and almonds- even though almond is not listed as a note. The oak moss adds a forest earthiness to it, and I smell a faint smokiness in the background like a coal fire. I think this perfume is best suited to night time and autumn. Good sillage initially. Longevity is not amazing, after 2-3 hours it needs a top up. Have to over spray to get it to last and have some strength. I haven't smelled Hypnotic Poison unfortunately but this is definitely how I imagine it would smell. Overall, I'd describe it as a vanilla vampire fragrance! It smells mysterious- it's sweet, sexy, inviting, complex and dark. For the price this is really decent- I think I'll be buying the larger 80ml very soon.

No es la chica dulce e inocente del gourmand clásico, sino alguien que entra en un lugar sin necesidad de hacer ruido y aun así atrae todas las miradas. Tiene una vibra de noche fría, con abrigo largo y una presencia que seduce sin esfuerzo.

i bought this when it first came out in 2023 because i was looking for a good vanilla scent, and this did not dissapoint. been my signature cold weather scent since it came out. it smells so delicious!! perf for when you want to smell sweet, but with a lil smth special too. (i personally layer it with the vs love spell candied body mist for a gingerbread house smell, go to winter combo fr) lasts about 6-8 hours on skin and on clothes even more (spray it on a sweater one day, the next day the smell still lingers!!) best vanilla perfume ive tried/owned. no other one compares, and ive tried a lot. p.s. this smells EXACTLY like Hypnotic Poison. literally put them side by side on my arm and couldn't tell the two apart

I tried this out in the store today randomly without knowing it was a dupe and was blown away - it smells EXACTLY like Hypnotic Poison. For me i've never smelt a dupe so close to the original, most 'dupes' I have tried of things in the past either didn't smell the same at all or smelt like distant cousins, but if I smelt this on a stranger I would think it was HP. I kept sniffing it and just thinking "how do they get away with this?". Very impressive. There's something of the subtle complexity of HP lost here, but the similarity is so astonishingly similar that for the price you can't complain. The lasting power isn't as good of course but for the price you can justify respraying at your whim.

My all time favourite perfume is Hypnotic poison eau de parfum. When I say this smells EXACTLY the same just a tad darker. HP gives a day time sweet, sugary vanilla whereas HV gives a night time version (although I still wear this during the day and save HP for more special occasions lol). This cost me £23 whereas HP is £160... As for longevity it lasts on my skin, hair and clothes all for around 3 hours. However I get a GOOD 3 hours, it doesn't fade slowly the scent is linear throughout until its gone completely. This doesn't bother me as I can just overspray as it is so cheap! Will continue to purchase this, hope Zara doesn't discontinue this anytime soon.

Waiting for Coco's (Coco Pebz) review 🤗 But I've tried this one, to my nose this is a good (very good) dupe for Scandal Le Parfum, it smells divine, gourmand and just perfect. To some people it mind remind you a bit of Juliette Has A Gun - Mmmmm (more floral than gourmand) - I didn't like it, had it and it left my collection. Comparing with Hypnotic Poison, I guess it's similar, but if you notice the root beer/playdough or even the coconutty aspects of HP you won't find in Zara's a good dupe or even in Scandal Le Parfum. These are bit 'less complex', more jasmine/caramel forward and in my opinion way better. Ordered Zara's because it's creamier

this smells very similar to hypnotic poison to me, the current EDT at least. i only had the chance to smell HP on test strips and i was a bit alarmed that its scent was almost undetectable from them the day after. as much as i love how HP smells id rather opt for its dupe that’s 90% similar to it right now. since it’s 5x cheaper i really couldn’t care less about its longevity, and id rather deal with its weaker projection to protect the general public that might hate the smell of play doh 😭 they both smell like play doh and root beer but thats what i find charming about them lmaooo i’m still reluctant to wear any of these in public though

This is not a dupe for Hypnotic Poison. This smells closer to Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Le Parfum, with its salty caramel and strong Jasmine notes. And is like a slightly more perfume-y version of Profumum Roma Confetto - it's very close to Confetto actually - I get similar fruity notes in this as I do in Confetto. Confetto is a lovely fragrance though so I'm not mad at this. There's also an element of Juliette Has a gun mmmmm to it - these are all fragrances I love, so I'll be using this as my cuddling at home fragrance. Re: Hypnotic Poison though - the key aniseed note that makes Hypnotic Poison so vampy and gothic is missing here.

Exact dupe for hypnotic poison - jsut wow. On me Hypnotic Poison EDT performed HORRIBLY, and for the price point it was so sad. It was my favourite scent, so sulty, creamy, sweet, but it did not last for more than 3 hours and did not project at all. This performs the exact same as hypnotic poison, so horribly, but its also a whole ~$100 cheaper, so I am in love with it, bottle is tiny so I carry it with me anywhere I go to just reapply whenever performance dies down, and it's so cheap that buying multiple is not a problem, especially since I go through it just as fast as I did with HP, this is just a greast scent and as great bargain

Great dupe for Dior’s Hypnotic Poison. As it is half/less than half of the price of that one, it obviously does not perform quite as well, but I can concur that it does smell slightly cleaner than the original and lacks the “play-doh” caveat that many people complain about in reference to Dior’s Hypnotic Poison. For $35.90 USD you really can’t go wrong with this one, it performs slightly better than your average celebrity perfume and given that the Dior counterpart is rarely available at significantly discounted prices, this is very much worth buying. If anything, this one is a bit more versatile and crowd pleasing than HP.

I went to Zara to smell this specifically, and as an absolute ultimate sweet fragrance lover this just made me so happy. It opens up really shyly which at first made me kinda disappointed but once it settles? IT STAYS. I genuinely can’t describe how many boxes it ticks off my perfect perfume list. It just gives off such a deliciously sweet and soft vibe, it’s almost kinda delicate to me (doesn’t give big femme fatale vibes or anything to my nose 😭). I advise you to try it out on the store first before blind buying tho, but I literally had to go back and buy it. It lasts so long on me it’s ungodly!!

I sold my bottle of hypnotic poison and started to miss her. Then I tried her on again at ulta and remembered why we parted ways. There’s a stuffy floral phase in HP on my skin that only works in cold but not freezing weather. I’m so happy to have found Hypnotic Vanilla for a fraction of the cost and without the heavy florals! This is a dry, almondy, barely aromatic woody vanilla. Slightly floral but not cloying as it has a powdery sharpness in there.. I think it’s a perfect vanilla for even those nights when it’s starting to warm up but you can’t let go of the sexy cozy winter scents yet.

I’m not going to compare it to Hypnotic Poison because I haven’t smelled that in years. This one is a caramelly, warm vanilla—sweet and gourmand, but with an earthy, grounded tone, which I imagine comes from the moss. It’s sweet but not sickly. Overall, it’s a sexy and playful gourmand, a powdery vanilla/caramel perfume. I’m a big fan of these types of scents, so even though it’s not the most innovative vanilla out there, I still love it! In the winter, if applied moderately, I wear it all day, but yes, it is definitely more of a night perfume.

Pleasant powdery almond vanilla <3 It has a touch of a metallic note that honestly doesn't bother me much because of how sweet this is. I wouldn't say it's dessert-like or edible vanilla, it's more cold and 'designer', so to say :P lasts around 2-3 hours in my skin, and on clothes for almost 24h upd: once I wore it to the gym (no judgement pls), and as my skin would get warmer, I would start to get distinct caramel notes, lowkey reminded me of Molten Caramel or Cheriosa 62. I was very surprised, in a good way!

Don't trust any of these reviews downhere most of them are wrong go out and test it yourself. Im a guy and I've never smelled HP before I was testing zara female perfumes by coincidence and found this and let me tell you that this the type of fragrance would like to smell on my date, it just makes me HARDDD and wanna be in that girls neck. It's just PERFECT VANILLA FRAGRANCE. It's unisex and you can pull this off if you look masculine enough.

A great value alternative to Hypnotic Poison which is a long time favourite of mine. I was so happy to discover this since my HP ran out. It’s slightly more fruity but the more it dries down, the closer to HP it gets and it’s beautiful. Powdery vanillas smell delicious on my skin and this is quickly becoming a new favourite. It doesn’t last too long which was expected but does tend to linger a bit on clothes.

Zara did great job on this one. This is an affordable alternative to Dior's Hypnotic Poison edt which is one of my favorite perfumes. The 2 are incredibly close scent wise. Gorgeous vanilla and almond scent. I'm keeping both in my collection. This fragrance has good performance. If you like Hypnotic Poison then you'll probably like this! Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 8/10 Overall Experience: 8.5/10

I used this on myself today, only about two spritzes, and forgot. About four hours later and the 75 year old customer at work is smelling soo good, I wanted to ask what he was wearing, then I realized the scent didn’t follow him when he left lmao. It was the this scent! It seems many more interesting aspects of the scent unfold after a few hours, ‘hypnotic’ is definitely a correct description.

My favorite perfume is hypnotic poison. And I never thought I'd find a dupe for it but this is it!! Really spot on, maybe lacks a hint of depth that the og has but you can barely notice that. So happy that I bought this just in the right time to wear it for fall and winter. Longevity is good, i sprayed some on my skin and slept and woke up still smelling it. Overall: 10/10 dupe to be honest.

This definitely reminds me of Deep Vanilla which was lounched by Zara in 2016. I still keep my bottle of Deep Vanilla amd it has got even better with the years. Now the elegant squared bottle contains a Brown almost purple liquid which I cherish a lot as I saw one of these bottles for sale in 200 dollars in Ebay. Definitely, worth buying.

From all the Hypnotic Poison edt dupes i have, Zara's Hypnotic Vanilla does something different. Hypnotic Vanilla lacks almond but replaces it with Caramel. This way it doesnt have the Play Doh'y touch to me like the other ones. Yet it is similar to Hypnotic Poison edt. It might also be the longest lasting of the Dupes i had so far.

do yourself a favour: buy this perfume, and then forget that you even own it for a whole year. it smells good fresh out of the box, but the scent develops into such a lovely scent as it matures that the price i paid for what the bottle holds is just unbelievable. lovely warm vanilla, and for how much it costs, it is incredible.

A soft, comforting powdery vanilla suitable for every occasion. It's classy, yet kinda boudoir-like. Also: first night I wore this out, someone asked me if I was wearing Hypnotic Poison by Dior soooo it's a pretty good dupe 😘 I do have to spray this one on morning, noon and evening. But I do that with all my fragrances anyway.

To me, Hypnotic Vanilla is Kenzo Amour in desguise. They both share the deliciousness and warmth. While the Vanilla in Kenzo Amour feels musky/powdery, it's sweet and caramelized with a hint of almond in Hypnotic Vanilla. It lasts for 5-6 hours on skin but more than 24 on clothes. My favorite of the Zara Vanillas collection.

Vanilla, almond and cherry, is what my nose picks. As a gourmand lover, this is my fave of the vanilla line. It reminds me more JPG scandal le parfum and not so much hypnotic poison by Dior. Dry down got cherry smoothie in my mind. This one is sexy but not in a dark misterious way, is sexy but modern, fun, playfull. Love it.

Very decent dupe of Hypnotic Poison. Instantly recognisable but lacking the depth of the original IMO. Has a good projection for the initial few hours on my skin. The original is a perfect vanilla scent for me and considering the price I'd definitely pick this up again if I couldn't repurchase the original.

It's a very mature fragrance, the vanilla is not too sweet. I don't know if it's a dupe for Hypnotic Poison by Dior cause i never smelled it before, but the ZARA one ? I LOVE IT. Bought it every time i empty mine, it's cheap, great, and the smell is amazing, everything i want from a perfume

Calming, inviting, warm vanilla I don’t get the comparison with hypnotic poison. But I think I smell HP as more floral than most people. For me it’s way warmer than HP, like a warm, nice and beautiful woman would be. A bit mysterious also, I love it, one of the best Zara frag I have smelled

I have both Dior Hypnotic Poison and Zara Hypnotic Vanilla and they smell identical. There is no better dupe than this one. The Zara one lasted so many hours on me while the Dior one lasted maximum 2 hours. I highly recommend Hypnotic Vanilla if you love the iconic smell of Hypnotic Poison.

This is a exactly the dupe of Hypnotic Poison. Copy/paste, nothing to complain about (see my review of Dior Hypnotic for more info). Therefore, I will not repurchase Hypnotic poison and will stick to Zara Hypnotic Vanilla because. And I think I prefer this one over Dior.

Hypnotic Poison's DNA with a noticeably milkier vanilla opening. Settles down into a hard candy caramel shell, the florals aren't as obvious to my nose. Perfect for cool/cold weather, projects quite strongly in the first two hours before settling at arms' length.

This smells amazing, like a less heavy Hypnotic Poison. It lasts 5/6 hours on my skin and projects! I've been reaching for this one a lot lately and performs well for me in the warmer weather! Not cloying at all! A great buy and I will purchase the larger size.

It's boring to speak in dupes, but this one smells just like Hypnotic Poison. It must be said. I have both and love them both. Where Dior can be heavy and overpowering, this is so suitable for every day use. Less intense, but just as gorgeous.

Genuinely impressed at how similar this is to Hypnotic Poison. It seems to have decent longevity too, which is perfect because my skin seems to drink HP - a scent I absolutely adore. And an excellent price to boot? This is a turbo win.

Love this. I think it’s a bit sweeter the HP and less root beer smelling (but still reminiscent). I don’t smell the play doh thankfully. Very feminine, sweet vanilla. Just as good as HP, if not bette, especially for the price.

Although the opening might be too synthetic, the dry down smells really close to Hypnotic Poison, and I get nearly every note of it, including almond. Just had to pick this up, 9,95€ for 30ml sounded really good!

I wanted a cheap hypnotic poison dupe and this works so well, I think it smells gorgeous. Although, I read a review somewhere saying it dries down with a play doh scent and I can see exactly what they meant.

Smells very close to the hypnotic poison, doesn't last that long though.. To me this is the only Zara perfume that I tried that does not open with a super chemical scent so I love it, finally no headaches..

i don't know how to describe this perfume but i love it! the vanilla comes forward as it dries down. it sits right between that sweet spot of being playful and serious. this is a lovely vanilla perfume.

Yeap HP. It also has that Kenzo Amour vibe. Original has a little incense touch. But Zara's interpretation works very well. AHHH If only my kids' play dough could have smelled like this or HP:)

as someone who used to have hypnotic poison as her signature scent, i love this soooo much!! it dries down to a super nostalgic and nice powdery scent. also lasts longer than i expected

This smells great. It is an exact dupe for DHP, it is long lasting and will get you many compliments! Sensual Vanilla smells great, but unfortunately it is not on Fragrantica yet.

I do love this, and I love having a small bottle I can keep in my purse to respray on if whatever vanilla scent I'm wearing fades, however... the play-doh is very much there
