Joyful Tuberose

Got it as a gift a few years back and have long since finished it, so reviewing it from memory. I was relatively new to fragrance and this was my first from Zara. After owning Elizabeth Arden's Pretty I tend to avoid florals like plague, but I surprisingly really loved this! When I finished my bottle I headed down to the store only to find that it has been discontinued -- please bring it back!! ): Because of this perfume, and being unfamiliar with florals, I was misled into thinking I'm a fan of tuberose. I almost started blind buying tuberose fragrances as a result :') Thank goodness for this site yeah? Wish their names would be a tad more accurate.

My mom bought it for me many years ago. I haven't wanted to finish it because I know it's discontinued. I went to study abroad and just got back, and I smelled it again. It's one of the girliest perfumes I've ever smelled, it's a little bit powdery which I really really like since it's very subtle, and I feel like it adapts to everyone's skin. Honestly, the longevity has decreased, but it's a beautiful perfume that I would buy again if I could. I'll try to enjoy the half of the bottle I have left before it goes bad.

I LOVE THIS!!! First splash gives you the orange, and then it turns into a beautiful flowery, feminine scent. Only downside: 2-3 hour lasting. I'd love too see it on an EDP version.

A very good perfume for it's price. It's delicate, elegant and perfect as a day perfume. I love it! It's my signature.

Yep...no tuberose whatsoever...A fiend of mine loves this fragrance so much, but on me this smells like fabric softener, not necessarily in a bad way, but it is sort of a cheap scent, not impressive at all...Maybe it is a matter of skin chemistry... I am glad I only got a small roller of this, because in the store smelled much better and I was tempted to get a full size. Sweet vanilla, orange and even sweeter vanilla again...with very poor longevity. Not expensive, but not worth the money. You can spend that amount on much better Zara fragrances...

ON ME ITS FRESH FLORAL POWDERY WITH A HINT OF WOODY , I NOTICED THE OPENING IS CITRUS FRUITY BUT ITS FOR 1 MINUTE ONLY, THE LONGEVITY IS POOR BUT ITS QUITE GOOD FOR THE PRICE. NOTE : TUBEROSE = GARDENIA TO MOST PEOPLE :)

On me it opens rose caramel instead of tuberose. Yummy.

This unexpensive discovery is one of my bed time scents. Truly delicious and joyful. In the beginning i smell citruses and black current. Then the juicy start mellows into creamy gardenia, sweetened by the vanilla, but the juiciness of the fruits remains. I think that "joyful" in the name is right on target but obviously there's no tuberose. It's definitely gardenia. A nice one. Longevity is weak, but so what? It's very unexpensive and I have a rollerball for my purse if i decide to wear it outside. And my husband really enjoy this one. Good scent from Zara.

Review from a Man: my gf recently use this, for me it really suits her (22 yo, likes to wear pink clothes, cheerful but not too noisy) i definitely smell a blend of blackcurrant and orange on the top notes. great for day (summer, spring) and idk i think it's for pink clothes (?), not for formal occasion of course, but for hanging around with friends, date, etc. sillage on her is somewhere between soft and moderate, longetivity around 3 hours great price too (here in Indonesia IDR 260k, around USD 18) score from me: 8/10

Glad this fragrance doesn't live up to its name because I am not a huge fan of tuberose and this is anything but. On me, it is a sweet citrus floral vanilla with slight woods. There is a softness to it that works well on the skin and with cozy sweaters. Joyful Tuberose is an easy, everyday perfume with an uncomplicated vibe. It borders on generic and is not something I normally buy. But, it seems like a good go-to when I am stumped on what scent to wear.

Bought a small bottle today at the ZARA store in the mall. No tuberose in here- and barely a gardenia. This is a generic sorta fragrance and the bottle is nice. Very inexpensive . I have a feeling that others in the store were better than the one I chose.

This smells like straight up starburst. There are better sweet gardenia fragrances out there especially for the price.
