Love Explosion Special Edition

I had my eye on this for while. Rose Gourmand is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. Now, with BR540, my relationship has been complicated. Fell in love with it at a dupe store before I even knew what a big thing it was, and immediately purchased it, only to find out I either didn't smell it at all after I got home, or that it smelt of Betadine. Where were the notes I had fallen in love with at the store? The fruit, the amber, the woods, the moss? Was it my first encounter with the mysterious Ambroxan that killed the mix? I ended up giving it to my aunt. With Love Explosion, I sincerely hoped that the Rose Gourmand was the dominant one, but I also hoped the good elements of BR540 would shine through, and make RG a bit more wintery and sophisticated. I got exactly what I was hoping for! For me this is an elegant and more grown-up RG with all the elements of BR540 I loved, like the praline, the amber, and the moss. To be honest I have never smelt Red Temptation, so I don't know if I like it or not.

i blind bought this after i had seen multiple tiktoks explaining that this perfume is a head turner. i quickly went on here and checked the notes. i am not a big fan of rose scents, but it is cheap and i decided to take the leap. i was very surprised when i sprayed the perfume. it definitely smells like a sweet floral, but in a seductive way, almost like a sexy version of tutti frutti candy. my boyfriend noticed pretty quickly that i was wearing something new and he enjoyed this perfume a lot, and he is not big into floral scents either. i love love love this fragrance and i wish the bottle was bigger. i have had it for a week and i cannot stop wearing it. it lasts the full day on my neck and i can smell it days later on my clothes. i am already running low on this perfume and it is out of stock. i am literally addicted and i love the way this perfume smells. wow wow. definitely a safe blind buy.

Wonderfully tart and sweet! I’m first reminded of Montale Paris Intense Cafe. It’s that kind of rose, the type with a candied-citrus brightness about it. Love Explosion is potent and hits me in the nose like opening a can of sweet, powdered lemonade mix that tickles. Where it begins to deviate is when the praline steps out from behind the curtain and takes the stage. Not a solo, but an intertwined dance between a chewy, nougat-y note and a tangy, airy floral. Just lovely. I’ve reached for this every day since I’ve had it and anticipate using it all up, much too soon, if I don’t stop. This is my very first Zara fragrance and I do hope they’ll make it permanent or at least bring it out during the sparkling holidays. This is also reminiscent of LVEB L’Elixir’s duet between cocoa butter and fruity rose. A romantically feminine fragrance.

This is one of the best Zara perfume release ! To my nose it is 70% Rose Gourmand, 30% Red Temptation and have the best of both world ! As I am not the biggest fan of both RG en RG, but Love Explosion definitively has my heart. In the opening, the rose is much more tamed and sugary rather than thick and syrupy. The scent is pretty linear as I personally get the dry drown around 20-30 min after putting it. To my nose Love Explosion is also more gourmand, sweeter and fluffier than the previous ones. The sillage is great, and the longevity is amazing, I can smell it on my vest 5 days after putting it. This the perfect rose scent for people that are not usually into the rose note. Moreover Love Explosion is not as unisex as RG and RT, is much more feminine to my nose.

This was a random buy while I was in Zara one day that sent me spiraling into collecting fragrances. I LOVE this. I had not tried Delina/DE/Roses Vanille/CDN Imperiale before smelling this so I had no idea it was a dupe for those. Now that I know and have tested them, Love Explosion remains my favorite of all. It's feminine, floral, warm, and sweet without being juvenile. I get great projection and longevity (6-8hrs) from this. I typically do not lean towards gourmands but this is an underrated beautiful perfume for an amazing price. I've purchased two backup bottles and may even get a third; that's how obsessed I am with this perfume.

This wasn't an immediate love for me, but when I revisited it maybe 2 months ago, it has been a constant reach ever since. I have always loved Roses Vanille and I think they smell really similar. That may have been the reason why I did not care much for it before since I already have it in my collection. But when the summer season came around, I tried this just for the sake of revisiting and I immediately fell in love. I feel like if you think Roses Vanille is a bit heavy for the hot weater or for daily use, this is a great alternative. This lasts a fair amount too given the price point. I think it's a win-win!

Love at first sniff!!!!!!!!!!! 💓 This is a beautiful, feminine, elegant fragrance. A luscious jammy rose with a creamy vanilla base. If you like Roses Vanille and Intense Cafe, but want something more wearable for day to day, then this would be perfect. It's suitable for all seasons in my opinion. It's versatility is why it's such an easy reach. I'm on my 3rd bottle!!! On my skin it has great projection and longevity and I always get compliments when I wear it to work. Definitely a crowd pleaser! This is my first Zara perfume and I am so impressed! I now want to explore their other ranges.

I love scents with rose and vanilla and this is the best Zara created in that category. This is sweet, candy-like rose and fresh peony that settle into the most addictive base of praline, amber and musk. It's really like they took the best of RG and RT and mixed it together. It smells like a fresher RG with just a tiny drop of RT. I so wish this wasn't just a limited edition because I don't want to be without it. Also, I've never experienced such a long lasting fragrance, I put it on yesterday at 3pm and can still smell it on my arm today at 5pm! Incredible quality.

ahhh Love Explosion... you are exquisite, just wished you lasted longer. Will have to keep testing this one since others are stating that its long lasting? It wore off at the 5 hour mark, but I didn't have moisturizer on, so will be trying that out to see what happens. I have Delina exclusive, and Roses Vanille this is not those, this is something different, might be a cousin but not a dupe and I love this one. Its beautiful.

Beautiful! Zara has really impressed me with this merger. Okay okay I get it that if you have both you don't need it. But hear me out, I have both and I just could not get it to this exact smell. You absolutely get the Rose Gourmand and the Red Temptation is waving in the background holding it's own. I love it! And it lasted a whole work day on me, with plenty of compliments.

I usually don’t like vanilla notes in perfumes, as it gives me headaches, but after reading a review on this perfume I went into Zara to smell it, and had to have it. The rose notes are beautiful, and it leaves the most gorgeous dry down on your skin that is almost addictive. This one is definitely a compliment getter or the perfume to wear if you want to be noticed.

This is lovely and, to me, smells like a blend between Delina Exclusif & Yum Boujee Marshmallow Edit: Since I wore this once right before getting very sick after, everysince I've been getting a vibe in this that strongly reminds me of BR540, which is unfortunate to me since that is not a vibe I'm a fan of personally. Bummer!

This is so pretty. Feminine, soft but has staying power and sillage. It's a creamy, dreamy lightly candy rose. I agree with the sweet petal pound cake comparison-- pretty much the same except this is stronger with more depth. Will be layering those together!!

This smells expensive this is definitely something you put on when you wanna exude confidence it’s feminine and slay queen approved and it’s my first Zara perfume and I’m feeling it 😗🤌🏼 lasting power is great and it’s really high quality considering the price

My perfume dream has become true with this one. This is combo of Delina exclusif+Bc540 and Im in love as I love both❤️❤️❤️ even my mom that stopped wearing perfumes for good steals this one from me. Its rosey juicy ambery and very sexy. LOVE🥰

This is honestly the best sweet and sultry scent by Zara. Hints of lychees, rose, vanilla and a little caramel. It smells like a lot more expensive and very similar to Delina Exclusif. Someone smelt it on me and thought it was Delina.

In love with this one! I keep buying it again and again. Smeelsore like delina than rose gourmand. Has a lighter feel to it and kind of an oudy undertone though it doesn't have oud. It is great definitely worth a try

It is beast mode. 1 spray on the back of one hand lasted me more than 4 hours!! More potent than each of the base scents (Red Temptation and Rose Gourmand). Not dramatically different but stronger!

very similar to rose gourmand/intense cafe/roses vanille but with a slightly-stronger and longer-lasting tart jammy rose à la delina

Opens just like rose gourmand but the drydown is definitely prada paradoxe intense as @vanillaboozygrl mentioned above
