LTH/03 Know The Leather

Obviously Zara's take on TF Ombré Leather. Sampled it yesterday, bought it today. This stuff is great. I told myself I wasn't gonna "waste" any more money on Zara fragrances. But this one is totally worth it. Serious bang for your buck. It's SO smooth and comforting. The combination of the smooth (and pretty realistic) leather, with the soft, powdery iris and the sweet vanilla just WORKS. It's such a non-aggressive leather, yet it still performs. Don't expect great performance after only 2 sprays, though. Spray away (5+) and this fragrance really comes to life. In terms of longevity AND projection. It lasted 10+ hours on my wrist and after applying it generously I was able to fill up the room, quite easily. Zara has lots of low quality fragrances with near zero performance. This ain't one of them. 10/10 would recommend.

Yes what we all've been waiting for, if you know how Ombre Leather smells, this will instantly remind you of OL, the leather is very similar, i havent done a side by side comparision, you can tell they went after OL DNA with a twist, for the price it's amazing

This is a fascinatingly good clone of TF’s Ombré Leather. I LOVE it!! You’ll be lucky to find a bottle, this stuff is so affordable that it’s just sold out everywhere!! Performance wise it’s maybe 55-65% longevity and sillage of OL.

Extremely similar to TF Ombre Leather. More minimalistic leather than LTH/01 which I prefer but both are great. Not a good option if you want every female to like it. Actually you will find a good amount of them to hate it.

First impression: taking inspiration from Ombré Leather is not a mortal sin. It's a leathery, mild, and the leather is earthy and dusty.

When I was just starting to get an interest in fragrances, I went to a store and tried some Tom Fords. One of the ones I tested was Ombré Leather and I guess it was the first time that I heard of something like a ‘leather’ fragrance, and I found the leather note in it to be really realistic. I liked the scent, but I also didn’t really feel like I would want to smell like leather, so I just never really revisited. After venturing into Zara fragrances and placing an order online, being a couple of euros shy of free shipping, I decided to look into what else they had to offer. Having tried a couple of these style bottles (the wood line) and looking up the reviews and the notes of this fragrance on Fragrantica, I figured I’d give this one a chance. For the price you can’t miss. So it was a blind buy, but I definitely like it! The first spray, you do get some sort of leathery opening, of course, that stay throughout the experience, but to me it’s not as realistic of a leather, the way you’d get it with Ombré Leather. It’s a more synthetic leather experience, or more of a suede or something? I’m not sure, but it’s not that much of in your face leather, which works great for me because, like I said, I don’t personally really want to smell like leather. So this one seems more wearable to me. On my first wear, which is what I’m basing this review on, I sprayed modestly, and find that projection isn’t that amazing, it quickly sits pretty close to the skin. But overspraying wouldn’t be a problem with a cheapie like this. I find that it’s definitely a likable scent. Getting the whiffs from my skin, sometimes I get more of the florals, sometimes I get more the leather. I’m still going to have to get this know this one better, but what I’m experiencing at this point, I really do enjoy it. Ironically, compared to the suggestions that I see here, personally I am really curious to see what this will be like in warmer, summer weather.

This is my first fragrance, and I have a feeling I’ve started an obsession. Opening is very harsh and unpleasant, as others have said. Dries down and hits you with all-caps LEATHER, intense enough that I was unable to discern any other notes in the opening. Slightly artificial-smelling, but not enough to bother me. Develops into a more complex and highly appealing smoky, leathery scent. Gradually sweetens up with the addition of vanilla, which it dries down into. Scent does not stay for very long. I was looking for something very leathery and with a vanilla note, and I can safely say that I’m thrilled for the price I paid. Already on the lookout for my next purchase.

Clone of ombré leather. Opening is harsh but once it dries down after a few minutes you’ll notice it smells 90% similar. However, this does not last. Everyone knows ombré leather is a scent that stays and projects for hours with as little as 2 sprays. This one however becomes a skin scent in about 2 hours so you may need to apply more sprays. although for the price and availability if you shop in stores it’s hard to beat.

#46 review If you know ombre leather that one of the best dupe. Very very good almost no difference at first. In that case it need to be something not ok. And it is parameters. Longevity is moderate. But if you want to smell like Tom Ford it is accurate. My rate 7.5/10

this is darker leather, then TF ombre leather but easier then La Yuqawam Homme Rasasi for 15€, unreal scent, if price tag also gives the bottle his magic EDIT: best from line, best leather, I believe, for first 1hour it is better the TF Ombre leather parfum I believe

On my skin it lasts only 2 hours (arm, 2 full sprays). Smells like a great dupe of Tom Ford OL, if you wouldn't mind re-spraying 4 times a day

The leather feels plastic-like and the wood feels a bit like damp plywood. There's a wet quality to it, reminiscent of rain, but you're soaked in it and don't feel charming at all. But I guess that can work in the summer and warmer days in general. The price makes it a convenient everyday fragrance for that time of the year, but you'll want to spray something else on top of it from time to time.

A very harsh opening! I thought i wouldn't love it. But I love the drydown it sweetened up! A good blind buy winter fragrance. Smells floral and a bit sweet. Strong. Unisex.

If it doesn't last and it is not identical to TF OL, than it is not worth the price (17,95/100 ML in the Netherlands). A classical mistake made by zillions of fragrances lovers. It only lasts about 2 hours but because it is cheap you can spray more often, they say. My Tom Ford Ombre Leather costed me 90 €/50 ML, it lasts all day. So if you need to spray 4-5 times a day for the longevity only, you should think twice. The real thing is always the best thing.

Incredible dupe of Ombre Leather. I wish I had picked up multiple bottles as it's now discontinued. I have a few Zara fragrances and the performance on them has been stellar. Obviously anything performs better than TF, and this one is no exception. I get about 8-10 hours of longevity and 5-6 hours of good projection so not bad for a $25 fragrance. I've seen Zara reissue some of their bangers from the past few years; I hope this one shows back up.

There leather here is joined by smoky and spicy notes. Hard for me to discern individual notes but compated to the rest of the LTH leather line this is more leathery than Leather Freestyle and less leather than Still Leather. There has to be at least some tobacco here, I smell some cigar smoke in the background. Not my cup of tea but some people could like it I think, worth a try.

I actually prefer this to the original as it has less of rubbery smell. However performance is pathetic, and it's 60% close to the original at best.
