Marshmallow Addiction

Yummy, fruity, mouthwatering candy scent. I don't really get marshmallow specifically, more just fruit and sugar. Performance is terrible which is a shame because I really love the scent. I will try layering it over a rich moisturizer to see if I can get more than a half hour out of it.

Smells exactly like Zebra Stripe gum. Tutti fruity, red fruits and citrus, bright and sweet and tart. No marshmallow in sight anywhere, not even on the drydown, which is disappointing because I bought this specifically looking for a marshmallow scent and assumed, based on the name, that this would be it. Why name a scent 'Marshmallow Addiction' if there's no marshmallow in it? ;0; Anyway, it's a nice scent anyway, so I'm not too upset. It will be nice for summer. Longevity and sillage is what you would expect from a 20$ Zara perfume. The bottle is suuuuuuuuuuuper cute!

I smelled it in the store and it’s nowhere near smelling like marshmallow even in the slightest so the name makes absolutely zero sense but... It is pretty damn delicious anyway! It’s still very gourmand just a fruity and tangy candy instead of the creamy marshmallow that you’re probably expecting from the name. If you wanna smell like fruity soda and gummy bears, I’d say this is definitely the perfume for you! It’s a bit late to be wearing it now but I know I’ll definitely be getting a bottle next summer.

This stuff is delicious. Smells like juice and a lollipop. Very tropical and summer like, without being shampoo-y. Not sure why it's called marshmellow addiction - when I tried it in store I almost laughed. There's nothing creamy or marshmellowy about this - so please don't go into this perfume thinking it's going to be like that (Even though it should be!) However the longevity is so unbelievably bad (Fair enough, for that price.) I wish it would last longer.

I actually tested it in my local Zara and loved it I ordered my bottle, still a solid 😍 The scent is like - marshmallow mixed with gummy bears - the dry down is a sweet-musky skin scent. Finally you can try it on the store but you can go ahead and blind buy if the notes are appealing enough. It's hard not to like it, just bear in mind it is an EDT(lasting power is meh, so you can over-spray it), it's perfect for spring and summer.

Adoro! É um aroma de cocktail de frutas em calda onde sobressai uma fruta que ainda não tenho bem a certeza se é maracujá ou outra fruta tropical como manga ou mamão, por exemplo. Chegou ontem por blinde. Durou mais ou menos entre 4/5 horas na pele. Não existe marschmallow aqui. Fragrância deliciosa para levantar a moral e para o calor. Surpreendida com a zara.

Best performer of the line. It's strong and very long-lasting. The opening makes me think of fruit salad tossed with Haribo marshmallows. The dry down is very sweet and less fruity and smells better in the scent trail than up close and makes me miss the yummy opening. It's very synthetic but definitely fun for the summer and good for the price. I bought it for my 15-year-old stepdaughter and it will be right up her alley.

No marshmallow, it just a nice scent that smells like juicy peach cocktail. However the longevity is close to zero, it only last like 10-15min, so I would not recommend this or maybe just for the beach.

This one was bought a bit out of impulse and I am now regretting it. It seemed like a pleasant fruity candy that would be suitable as a good summery everyday scent. As time passed it just turned to the most unpleasant synthetic kid fragrance. The whole line was a bust and it says a lot since this is the best out of the collection. Some Zara frags are too good to be true while scents like this might trick you if they are not properly tested while out and about

30/09/2024 So I went to the Zara store to try the perfume and i’m kinda underwhelmed. I hate to say it but the name (and note) is really misleading because I can barely notice the marshmallow. As a #1 gourmand amatrice, this one is more fruity (berry-ish) with a little floral scent towards the end... It’s an ok fragrance , not for me unfortunately :/

Very fruity and fresh. When I wore mine, I thought it reminded me a lot of something else. I go and check my Gucci Gorgeous and Emerald Gardenia, and noticed the similarities. Fragrantica says "fruity notes," but specifically the notes in Gorgeous are: pear and red berries. The notes in Emerald are: watermelon, pear and lemon. So think very sweet but not rich, gourmand, heavy sweet. Teenager, light, body spray sweet. In fact, that is the staying power you'll get. There is no marshmallow--REPEAT: There is no marshmallow. But for the price, it is a great value, and I love it. I bought all 4 from this release, with Candy Festival being my least favorite, bc its drydown leans masculine, there's something sharp, I don't like. My personal favorites are Marshmallow Addiction and Petal Lollipop. (But to be honest, they're similar enough that you don't need both).Just grabbing this bottle to put on in the morning bc of the aesthetics is fun! Gives me that feeling I would get 20 or so years ago from Clinique Happy. Joy in a bottle! Grab it while you can. Zara has done it again!

I feel like fragrance makers shouldn't be allowed to include a note in the title that isn't in the scent lol (marshmallow). Moving on... To me, Marshmallow Addiction is "fruity fresh shampoo" (pear, apple, soft white florals) + powdery sweet tarts. This is in the same family as Pac Sun's "Nollie" (Green). Differences are: - less floral and sweeter than Nollie - has a bit of slightly-musky powdery candy (like sweet tarts) - dry down (at least on my skin) is extremely quiet - dry down had a hint of something like burnt sugar On a tester strip, it maintained more of the "fruity fresh shampoo" (watery green apple) than it did on my skin, which is a bummer because I would have loved more of that. Overall, this was pleasant but a bit synthetic for my taste and didn't wow me. There are many stronger, and more dynamic, sweet "fruity fresh" fragrances that I'd prefer over this one - such as: - PacSun Nollie - VS Endless Love - VS PINK Honey Passionfruit - BBW Beautiful Day (2023 release) - BBW Wild Lime & Gardenia - BBW Perfect Peony

You know when you are on a holiday by the beach 🏖 hotel serves meals and the breakfast buffet has a breakfast salad in the shape of pearls? The opening smells like the water of the fruit salad that is left once you are done eating. Specially papaya stands out to me. Afterwards is a whipped soft cream with a hint of vanilla (probably the tuberose). But is very fresh and sparkly, almost cold and refreshing. Like you ordered another serving of that fruit salad, but you then added cold fresh whipped cream out of the fridge. My trick for summer is adding a splash of cold water behind my neck and then the inner part of my arms. Then without drying my skin I apply some generous sprays of this all over. Is really fun and refreshing. If you enjoy L’Empress by D&G or Orange by Hugo Boss (female version) you could really enjoy this. It has that same sparkly, gummy bear, fruit water, vanilla, toffee cream quality. Doesn’t last very long, but for the price and the amount is a fair deal. Is a love for me :)

Now that we all know it doesn't smell anything like marshmallow, I will tell you what it smells like. Think pineapple Hawaiian punch. Red kool-aid. Red popsicle. It isn't offensive by any means, but on the dry down, it quickly dissipates and I don't get any musk, vanilla or gourmand, although I keep sniffing for it. The quality is like a body spray and it only lasts 30 mins or so.

Someone said it below but yes, mango and strawberry. Mostly fresh mango for me. And then the strawberry is also fresh like a fresh cut watery scent. I actually think that's caused by the sunflower note. It actually gives it almost a hint of the dryness reminiscent of a marshmallow's powder but not enough to call it in the name I think. Mango Addiction on the other hand... 😗
