Midsummer Collection Deep Fougere

Warm, soft, cozy, slightly sweet, cardamom, and amber. Not the most natural smelling but not a synthetic mess...pleasant to wear. I wasn't a fan initially and just used it as a nighttime bed spray, but I've grown fond of it and now wear it on me when I want a comforting, masculine, fougere ambery scent. Nice. Scent: 7 / Sillage: 7 / Longevity: 6

Funny reading these reviews, in theory I should have like the Orange zest a lot more, however this one absolutely smelled much nicer

I remember testing this and Oz (Orange Zest) on my skin last year. For the price at the time, I honestly wasn't impressed by either, but actually preferred this one a little more. I know - crazy right? There's just something so damn smooth and relaxing about this juice. It's inoffensive to the MAX, subtle, sweet and soapy. The simplicity is just marvelous - a slightly feminine, powdery, almost aquatic green apple and amber reminiscent of the smell in the clothing section at a trendy urban market. LOL But I guess it's the familiarity that makes it so appealing. If there ever was a scent used to spray down clothing in a store like Zara, this would be it. Because that's literally what I use it for - a fabric, closet and room spray - and it works great. Like most people, I was really only after Oz; but when you happen upon a box with the green duo for less than 14 bucks total...well then, you know how it goes. Bonus! Scent - 6.5/10 Longevity - 6/10 Projection - 5/10 Overall - 6/10

Zara ya zaman zaman sürekli yenilenen parfüm reyonlarını incelemek için uğruyorum. Makul fiyatlara makul parfümler olduğunu söylemeliyim. Genel olarak piyasanın gündemini takip eden parfümler üretiyorlar. Geçen kış tütün temalı parfümlerini beğenmiştim. Daha sonra yazlık bazı parfümlerini kokladım. Söylediğim gibi makul isler. Neredeyse açık parfüm fiyatına satılıyorlar. Yukarıdaki parfümü ise ilk 2-3 dakikası için koklamamıştı öneririm. Sadece ilk 2-3 dakika için. Eğer bu açılışı yarim saat sürdürebilse sanırım 2-3 şişe alırdım. Adını doğru koymuşlar. Gerçekten ilk dakikalarda derin bir çam-ağaç havası yaratıyor. Burucu ve güzel. Ama o kadar. Sonra kaybolup gidiyor. Beraber satıldığı Orange ise daha keyifli ve güncel. Aynı şekilde açılışı çok güzel. Ikisi de 1 saat içinde kayboluyor. Büyük beklentiler içinde değilseniz ve uygun fiyat peşindeyseniz deneyebilirsiniz. Zaten 2 tane 100 ml lik parfüm alıyorsunuz. Yanı bol bol sıkarak yazı geçirirsiniz.:-)

as mentioned by others, this fragrance suffers because it is normally sold in tandem with Orange Zest which is a great fragrance. Deep Fougere is not a great fragrance, but it IS a good one. I find the combo of fresh opening and powdery dry down to be quite nice. The longevity is adequate for a fresh scent and the sillage is good. overall a pleasant fragrance that shouldn't be overlooked.

Have you ever saw an ad for kittens or puppies and you wanted one. Then the owner said if you want that one you got to take the other one as a package deal. That is Deep Fougere. This fragrance is so forgettable it won't evoke any memories.

Batch: 30121 / 2023-01-12 Something interesting, but I'm not entirely convinced. I find this fragrance more appealing in moderate weather than in hot weather. I agree with the previous comment about this fragrance making me think it was used to spray the clothes sold at Zara. I don't find it good for anything other than scenting your clothes. Rate: 5/10

This frag is totally outshined by its combo sister - Orange Zest - which is a super super amazing summer fragrance. Anyway Deep Fougere is an average nice honest frag, an average quality light aromatic fougère that lasts 4~6 hours tops (most of the time as a skin scent only) and smells not cheap. I got a vibe of Loewe Esencia but I do NOT consider it a clone. It's a veeeeery distant cousin at the most. Not recomended.

I feel lucky buying the set of this one and Orange Zest, for a unbeatable price of 19 Euros. And I can say I bought this set because of the OZ. But this Deep Fougère is a better fragrance much to my surprise (in the shop I thought the other way around). The blend of the fruity notes and the cardamom and other spices, vetiver and sandalwood is very well done. It smells complex and very stylish. There is not a single note that jumps out or irritates and the scent settles nicely on the skin. Yes, these Zara perfumes do not have the quality of niche perfumes and the performance is certainly not stellar but the price quality ratio is excellent. This is my fitfh Zara and I'm not disappointed at all, rather happy, with the quality. I think the Spanish Puig company is the manufacturer of these Zara fragrances.

Available again in Zara stores and online. Tried it today, this smells like a scent that would be released in early 2000s - green, fresh, kind of like the rain and with a hint of sweetness. Think something like Dior Higher or CK Truth for a reference although it isn't a clone of either one. It smells good, very wearable and inoffensive but also very retro. That will make or break this fragrance for most people I think. If the retro vibe is something you want then it's perfect, if it smells dated to you, then it will be a pass. I'd say it's worth giving a try although I'm not sure whether I'm going to buy it. EDIT: I know what it reminds me of the most now! Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger, it's not a clone but they are decently close and the drydown is pretty similar.

Green Apple with a Spiciness and Woods, Musk and Ambroxan. I also detect a sweet Mintiness that isn't listed here. Its clean smelling and dries down with an Herbal feel. This would best be suited for 65-75 degree weather but could be worn in the summer months also. Longevity is not great as with other Zara fragrances but considering the price point, it's not bad. Got this bundled with Citrus Zest for $36. This is another scent that's good for gym, quick errands or a casual lunch. Smells nice, but not too unique or mindblowing.

Tried in the store -- initially promising notes list but it sorta evaporated into that messy Zara DNA that all the current men's frags seem to have. On me it dried down to a virtually only-cardamom scent that I could picture wearing during winter but not during many other seasons. Maybe I was fooled by the nice green bottle and typesetting but it didn't have much green aromatic vibes at all.

Really nothing special. A freshie. Like many many other that fall in the average range. Pass. But oragne zest is a whooole another story! Fresh apple with woody sweet dry down. Very forgetable.

Smells like a generic men fragrance and doesn't last on skin at all. Orange Zest is much better.
