Mimosa Cloud Eau de Toilette

Reviewing the latest version of this fragrance. Definitely zero tonka note in here (my skin enhances any tonka). But a very synthetic and nice mimosa, with a pistachio ice cream. I think it's a nice refreshing gourmand. I never smelled such a gourmand before. A good Zara pick if you wanna something a bit unique but easy wear. Longevity ok, sillage medium. I also own AG Cloud and it's smells indeed similar but a bit stronger and more linear. Towards the dry down of arianq grande Cloud you reach a very light whipped cream scent. This one smells more like Cloud's opening all the way. It's smells cheaper also. But i love both fragrancesand i think they layer really well together.

I was able to score this perfume second hand from someone and I'm so happy I did. I've already worn this a handful of times and I find this so yummy and addictive. This review feels somewhat pointless as you likely can't get your hands on this anymore, but who knows! Maybe Zara will bring this back one day. I smell juicy pear (not listed) and the mimosa and ambroxan become like delicate ambery caramel on my skin, but not too sweet. And finally, the pistachios...wow! They really sing on my skin. I can see this scent being a dud to some, but it really works for me.

Due to the price, the notes and the name of the fragrance... this was an absolute blind buy! A successful one at that. This has a nice light sweet and lightly floral scent. It doesn’t remind me of AG Cloud... this to me smells sweet and sparkling. It reminds me of a yummy cocktail. I love it and glad to have it in my collection.

The most interesting thing about this perfume is that, despite being an EdT, it projects and lasts a long time on clothes and skin. Much more than anormal Zara EdT, or even some EdP, and for that reason it's very much worth having. I find its resemblance to Cloud more in the drying, when both perfumes smell like burnt caramel, but at the initial blast Mimosa Cloud is much more powdery and floral than Ariana Grande's. Mimosa Cloud obviously lacks that lactonic accord that Cloud has, thanks to the coconut and whipped cream. What is true is that the pistachio is the protagonist. It even feels like a strange note, combined with mimosa and ambroxan, but for some strange reason they match very well. This perfume it's more like Cloud's summer flanker. A much more linear flanker, but much lighter to use on a daily basis. I also have been using without the need to reapply during the day. In general it is an excellent creation of Zara. Likewise, it also smells like a much more unisex perfume than Cloud. It's not a typically feminine fragrance at all. It's a gourmand in the sense that it smells like pistachio ice cream. The image that appears to me is someone enjoying an ice cream in a park. I bought mine on Facebook Market, where a lot of people are reselling out-of-stock Zara perfumes, so I recommend looking there if you want to buy this perfume or others from this collection.

Pistachio gelato, fresh pear and mimosa! Delightful, sparkling & refreshing Initial spray on my skin smells like tart pears, even thought it's not listed as a note, quickly followed by pistachios...Not the roasted, buttery kind. This is frothy, raw pistachio gelato...subtly creamy. After 20-25 minutes a sweet mimosa is prominent on my skin with pistachio in the background. The base note is indeed ambroxan, no tonka bean present, similar to Kenzo World. Sister fragrances Arianna Grand Cloud & BR540 are very dense: Cloud being ultra coconutty & creamy, the other being medicinal/woody/spicy. Both completely winter-oriented. But 'Mimosa Cloud' is more suitable for warm weather, instils spring feelings & cleanliness! Feminine, appealing, fun and has fantastic performance for an EDT.

This is very similar to Ariana ́s Cloud perfume which I absolutely love. I was shocked when I tested this today, they have obviously copied the scent (or maybe they copied the baccarat rouge! I can ́t really tell) The difference is that Mimosa is less sugary and smells fresh and longevity is weaker than Cloud. Event though I have the Cloud perfume I ́m willing to buy Mimosa as well cause I feel like during summer Mimosa would smell better on the skin and also because I want to smell like Cloud the whole time but on the other hand I don ́t want to finish a 50€ bottle in a week haha!

I did not know there is a dupe of Ariana's Cloud (which I have and love), until my co-worker told me she is wearing Zara's Mimosa Cloud. The dressing room smelled so lovely after she had sprayed her perfume. I thought it was Ariana's Cloud first. Zara's fragrance is more powdery, floral (mimosa) and linear. It smells soft and cuddly. Ariana's Cloud has more notes (lavender and lactonic notes) and has some freshness in it. I'd choose it over this Zara fragrance any time, although Mimosa Cloud is also very pleasant.

I bought this perfume unsniffed in sept -20, because of the covid, and if I could have tested it in the shop, it would certainly have been a BIG no from me. I also bought it because of the mimosa note, but, there is no mimosa in it in my nose. I can smell some nuts here and there, it's kinda sweet, and it smells nice on my clothes. It also smells nice if I overspray myself a LOT, but after 10 min, the nice smell is gone with the wind. The bottle though, is very beautiful, and, now it has a new happy owner!

I really really liked this when I first smelled it, but I went to work with it on and someone was like "who put new car smell on" i died hahahah I was like ummm def not me, then that's all i could smell, chemical new car smell. I gifted it to a friend and now I have cloud and it dries down so beautifully. Happy I tried it, its how I found cloud!

Ummm This smells like a Fuzzy Navel drink up close. If you smell it up close, it’s not that great of a smell, but the sillage is very nice. I don’t think this is like Ariana Grande Cloud. It might have the same sweet note as cloud, but this is a whole different beast.

Smells similar to Cloud, but noticeably different. Smells nothing like BR540. This smells exactly like Cloud mixed with Ralph by Ralph Lauren (the blue and clear glass bottle for women).

This smells exactly like Ariana Grande’s Cloud on the opening but not as nice and somehow even more sickly sweet.

If you want a super budget, more youthful version of Ariana Grande Cloud this might be for you. Like Cloud, Mimosa Cloud has that BR 540 adjacent DNA. It's not at all a dupe, but it is obvious where the inspiration came from. The similarity to BR540is maybe 50% while to Cloud it's about 80%. The similarities get a fair bit closer in the deep drydown, especially on clothes where it lasts a lot longer. The level of sweetness is also dialed down a bit compared to Cloud which some days gets a little cloying. As is sometimes the case with Zara fragrances, the notes for this fragrance don't give any indication to what this will smell like (except the ambroxan). It has the light and airy cotton candy feel that most fragrances with this type of DNA are known for. That's really all I get from this, cotton candy and ambroxan. There is no complexity or development, but that is expected from a budget scent. I don't really smell any mimosa and definitely no pistachio. I can see everything about this scent appealing to a young teen girl. The scent is very fun, playful and youthful. Even the bottle is a very pretty light aqua colour. It leans just a little more juvenile than I (a middle aged woman) prefer to wear, but it is a great bedtime scent for me. The first few times I wore this I thought the performance was dreadful. After 30-60 minutes it was gone. But then I wore it to bed a few times and each time I could smell it on my sheets and the morning and it was still lightly present on my skin. I think I just go nose blind to this pretty quickly. The projection is pretty decent for about an hour. It stays within arms reach, but I can smell it around myself. I think it actually smells a lot better in the deep drydown, especially on clothes. I really enjoy how it smells on my sheets the next morning.

SCENT: It is a light, fresh, tart and sweet scent that leans fruity. I would say there's no floral here. Reminds me of tart candy scents. I don't get the pistachio note and I don't know what mimosa smell like. It doesn't smell anything like the intricate BR540 nor does it smell like Ariana Grande Cloud. BR540 has layers of creamy sweetness, heavy woodiness, and a hint spiciness all rolled up in the scent. Mimosa Cloud is too sweet to even compare to BR540. Compared to AG Cloud, Zara Mimosa Cloud is a tart sweetness and AG Cloud is a creamy sweetness. They're not the same to my nose. DRY DOWN: The dry down is just a little less tart than the opening. There's not a lot of difference. SEASON: Summer - The juicy tart sweet scents reminds me of all the tart juicy fruits of the summer. TIME OF DAY & SCENARIO: Day time appropriate - It's a bright and juvenile scent that is most befitting of day time usage. I see myself wearing this outside on bright sunny days. GENDER: Feminine - It's too sweet to be anything else. LONGEVITY: 3-4 Hours on skin PROJECTION: It's quite a noticeable scent. Someone sitting next to me can notice the scent within the first 30 mins of application. PRICE: $23 CAD for 100mL OVERALL: 6/10 - I like this more than I expected even though it's an overbearingly sweet scent. I think I would enjoy it more if the scent smelled more realistic and had less projection. It's too synthetic as it is because I can't pick out any recognizable notes (fruits or flowers). I would not repurchase as it's too generic of a scent. It's not blind buy appropriate as it doesn't match up with any of the notes given. You wouldn't know what to expect at all. This scent is too strong to be a crowd pleaser. It might irritate some people.

This one is puzzling, because it smells 90% like Cloud by Ariana Grande, which I like a lot, but something about this one bothers me. I was actually excited about it, love the branding colors and the notes and as soon as I sprayed it and smelled Cloud, I was so happy! Good thing I waited a few minutes before buying, cause this displeasing note came through and it stays...

Quite intense and long-lasting for a Zara frag. Fun, very sweet, but kind of generic, and I'm saying that not having smelled any of the scents compared. I think I was expecting a Girl of Now dupe, but Mimosa Cloud is way less dense and has more of a... well, if GoN is a rich gelato, Mimosa Cloud is more like some sweet citrus juice + an almond cookie.

Does smell like Ariana grande's cloud. But something about it made me nauseous the more I gave it a shot. Had to get rid of it

Notes are incorrectly listed, base note is Tonka bean and not ambroxan. Personally, this perfume is a miss. This smells like an off nutty & sparkling cocktail mix, the notes definitely do not smell good together. It’s very sharp and longevity is better than most Zara perfumes, but I just can’t stand the smell. This is my opinion - it’s definitely a summer fragrance, it is sharp, crisp, on clothes it lasted for at least 6-8hours but the notes just don’t compliment each other

This smells nothing like any of the fragrances mentioned. I don’t like it.. it’s way too sweet.. it reminds of bbw champagne toast.. which I’m not fond of either

All I smell is ambroxan/cashmeran- so disappointing-

As others have said, it smells similar to Ariana Grande’s Cloud, but different enough to justify having both. The thing they have in common is the sweetness: it’s as if they’re two different cups of tea using the same type of sweetener. Both are also somewhat ambroxan heavy. It smells nothing like BR540. I actually think I like it. It also reminds me of a long discontinued L’Occitane perfume that I had in high school: “Mimosa de l'Esterel”. I can definitely detect powdery mimosa and something that almost reminds me of Ylang Ylang or banana peel. Maybe that’s pistachio? On my skin it’s nice. Longevity is actually quite good for Zara, I’m still catching whiffs three hours later. Careful about over spraying this one—it’s a bit stronger than most cheapies. The bottle is also HUGE and very aesthetically pleasing. This feels more spring/summer appropriate than winter or fall which is unique for a cheap gourmand. I give it a 7.5/10. Not a replacement for Cloud or BR540, but a nice perfume to have on its own for a good price.

It's a really weird one. I got this as a blind buy as Zara now doesn't do testers and it looked like it would be a cheap and refreshing mimosa perfume. What it actually is - a very weird synth amber overdose BR 540 or Ariana Grande Cloud wannabe with a huge dollop of sweet pistachio Italian style gelato. I don't get any freakin mimosas here and can't really tell do I like it or not, it's currently too hot and too humid in UK at the moment so I'm not judging yet, as it might be much nicer as the weather cools. 2022 UPDATE: this is loud, cloying and I absolutely hate it in any possible weather or scenario. I don't know if it's me smelling this sort of stuff literally everywhere or what, but I am really over that shrill cotton candy sugary ambrox assault. Heck, even few of the Fantasy flankers have it in. It just feels like I am being showered with teeny tiny sharp glass (or hard sugar candy) shards and it overwhelms all other senses to a point of giving me headaches. Please please make it stop.

When I first got Mimosa Cloud my impression was it was a nice enough scent, and a little different from other Zara perfumes. But now that I have worn it a few times, and maybe today in particular as it is rainy and cool (and not hot summer like when I bought), I am really loving it! It has good longevity (I have been wearing it for 6 hours so far today), but is not overpowering. As far as being a dupe for Cloud, I have tested Cloud a few times and do not like it. BR540 I have only tested once, and can’t remember it much at all.

My advice is that if you have the budget - please proceed to buy MFK Rouge540 as you will not regret it (my signature scent). If you are in budget, please buy Ariana Grande Cloud instead! I love Zara perfume in several collections, however this scent is a huge no to me! None Tonka Bean note can be detected on my skin!

When i first sprayed it , i was totally in love for this perfume, it was very discounted in Turkey that time and bought around 8 bottles. But after i finished the first bottle i got bored and still have around 6 bottle backup😅anyways great longevity and great projection! Maybe later on i will miss it later 😉

This smells like a powdery version of Cloud minus the creamy coconuts. A little tart and not as sweet as Cloud. Lasts about 6 hours on the skin. Kind of gotten nose blind to this scent after a while.

This smells to me like a cloud of nothingness, of space dust. It' s not a repulsive scent, not at all, but it leaves me emotionless and disconnected. It' s not bad, it' s not good, it just is?!

It was a love at first sniff, but when I actually start wearing it it became really dusty like almost inhaling dust. It’s about 85% similar to AG Cloud, Cloud is sweeter in a different way.

as a guy i like this as its pretty nice for what it is.
