Musk au Lait

you know I came to zara because in gym I smelled immortal vanilla and asked a girl what it is. but it’s not about that perfume. I came to zara grab immortal vanilla and wanted to buy cocoa sunset. bet it reminded of sol de janeiro. so i saw musk au lait. i liked the name of perfume. i sprayed it. it was hard to tell about this one because i smelled too much zara perfumes that day. i decided to buy and it was almost blind buy. when i came home i thought wtf. smells so nasty. but the next day when i sprayed it. the perfume was like wow. it’s was silent luxury. the early autumn. the days are sunny but getting darker earlier, feeling a little cold in the morning. like you wear cashmere sweater. this smells like autumn. but autumn with best feelings and memories of something very important. it just makes me feel so happy. i was searching perfume for early autumn fot september. that’s perfect. this won before fugazzi angel dust ant initio sugar blast. it’s silent perfume but if i could smell this one on other person i will think that he has a very good taste in everything and knows his value. like the person who smells like this one is some kind of mystery and you want to know more but it doesnt shout from himself. it’s just perfect but i needed few days to really understand how it smells. i think it’s only for autum when weather is 14-18 celsius. not more not less and definetely not spring. it’s cashmere sweater, levis jeans, leather shoes. very silent luxury. kinda old money. wanna gatekeep this one and already waiting for autumn

I was looking forward to try this perfume since I saw the release. I went to a store to try it and at first I didn’t liked it. It felt too soapy and could not get the lactonic notes. But then, as I walked away, the sandalwood base started to appear and a very clean, soft and milky scent settled on my skin. I returned to the store and bought it immediately. This is the perfect fragrance to put on after a shower, before going to bed, and inoffensive enough to use for the gym. Definitely a skin scent and it is meant to use for layering with the other perfumes of this collection, as it is mentioned on their website. It was only $25 and honestly I am surprised that it didn’t have better reviews. If you are a musk lover, and gravitate to clean scents, give it a try. I am seriously considering buying a backup, for the price this is a gem.

Wow! How impressed I am with this beautiful scent for £35 only!!! I ordered it online after I saw an article about this fragrance and ordered for collection but was sceptical about actually collecting it because the reviews were not so great. So I went to store and sprayed it on me and went home to allow the scent to settle on my skin. I loved this from the start and loved it even more as time went by. It’s perfect for office or daywear , without offending. I will go to collect my fragrance in store tomorrow and I am so excited about it! It is creamy, laconic, milky and cosy. It evoked A nurturing feeling. I don’t understand the negative comments about this fragrance . I would easily pay wayaaaay more for this . So worth it and the quality is superior to many alcoholic and short lasting designer fragrances .

To me, this is mostly a clean, refined musk with a subtle Middle Eastern vibe. There's also a soft smoky touch that reminds me of incense, although it could just be cashmeran. It's not similar to Prada Infusion d'Iris in terms of the actual scent, but they give me the same feeling. Both remind me of luxurious baby products. I'd describe Infusion d'Iris as a rich European baby, while Musk au Lait smells like a rich Middle Eastern baby - creamier, muskier and with that beautiful modern Arabian touch. As a musk lover, of course I loved it straight away! Well done, Zara!

Not a standard clean girl scent. It is smoky and woodsy while the sweetness comes with an earthy spiciness. For a seemingly simple scent it gives the vibe of a mysterious person who bathes in milk cream and lives in a cabin in the woods.

It's giving me Zara Bohemian Oud more airy and ambery. Like you scrubbed away overspeyed Oud frag with some nice soap. Good for layering through. Gives every frag more 2024-2026 vibe. Screams I'm so normal and in the game.

Clean like a crisp white shirt, lactonic. Simple and complex at the same time. I got two backups. On my skin this works very well and lasts.

It’s for layering they say and therefore it’s good. Alone it’s a soft, gentle, a tad sweet musky skin scent.

So really nobody was reminded of Fleur de Peau by this?

This is unisex, but a lot of unisex perfumes lean masculine imo, but this one is really in the middle. It starts out with like a peppery note that almost reminded me of fugazzi angel dust, wich i find way too masculine. After like 10 minutes it had turned much more soft and sweet and i can really smell the lactonic and creaminess. I love this perfume!!! I feel like its pretty strong for a skin scent and people can smell it being around you. This woud be perfect to layer with vanilla perfumes/bodylotion but is also good on its own.

Clean milky non-sweet musk. Beautiful for bedtime and relaxing. Absolutely worth it for the price tag.

A big step up from mostly floral and soft gourmand perfumes they usually put out. The presentation and packaging are really good. I am impressed. It has been a long time since Zara did something so cool. From the line this one is the weakest for me. The smell is nice but to soft, it’s missing something. I know it’s meant for layering, but you have to be aware of it before buying.

Very different that what I was expecting, it’s not soft and clean, at all, but it reminds me of guidance by amouage a lot! Which is rare to have a good dupe. So good for Zara for mimicking it and provide a more affordable option, but the name was a miss. It smells like incense very very much, no milk or musc found🤷🏻♀️

Musk au lait is a sweet , woody middle eastern leaning animalic musk ( to me). It is creamy, slightly sweet , has this insence Accor that makes me think about traditional middle eastern fragrances. To me is too animalistic ( slightly dirty and masculine) I can't think about it as a clean ,white creamy musk.

I hoped for musk, i got an incense perfume. This smells like a greek orthodox church on Easter Sunday. Who on earth would want to smell like a a church?. Very disappointed by this whole series, golden chai etc.

I couldn’t get over the animalic note in this. The dry down was ok, creamy and lactonic but not nice enough for me to get past the opening musk. Reminded me of the stink of a fox.

So this smells like the room of a newborn. I can’t decide if that’s a good or a bad thing. Edit: decided it’s a bad thing. Straight up baby barf.

Absolutely vile. I was influenced by the positive reviews but this smells like you're entering the restrooms in the mall. Smells like piss combined with a light/slightly sweet air freshener in the background. No no no no

Wow who ever compaires this with Milky Musk 39: straight to fragrance jail!!! Milky Musk is lovely woody musky sweetnes, this is just pissy insence. Yuk.

It's a decent soft incense scent. A romantic, feminine and warm one. Seducing but not provocatively sexual. Nothing offensive or dramatic like the orient style perfumes sometimes can be. Nice, sophiticated and safe for everyday use even for work cause it isn't have a huge sillage and not a really lasting one. A safe buy.

Milky cashmeran scent. Slightly vanilla-tinged but not overbearingly sweet. Soft and pillowy. Cashmeran can smell sharp and off to some people, but I think it works well here. Sweeter than Angel Dust, but around the same ballpark as Seminalis. Good if you're looking for a transparent sweetish musk scent.

This one ended up being my least favorite from the collection at first because I’m not usually a fan of the sharpness of musk. But I have to say... the drydown really convinced me. It turns into something so creamy, comfy, and still very clean. I can already tell it’s going to be great for layering.

It’s a creamy musk. (Somewhat incense like) Pretty simple but it does turns into a beautifully subtle vanilla on my sick and I absolutely love it! Also it actually has some projection and even got a compliment from a spray on my wrist. lol. Definitely will buy this (: -M206

This a mostly clean musk to me. Not a laundry fresh dove soap clean but definitely not pissy or skanky or anything like that. Reminds me of Atelier Cologne Musk Imperial. But here I get a hint of a spicy rose note. Overall very smooth, clean, niche-like release from Zara.

if commodity Milk had an even cooler little sister. incredibly cheap for such a perfectly balanced lactonic fragrance. I think this is the best lactonic-vanillic ive ever smelled. Not too sweet, very clean, perfect for everyday wear or layering. Very versatile.

this is nice. a bit sweet to my taste but definitely lactonic and musky as the name suggests. It's a great clean everyday scent but also good for layering. it's giving clean rich girl in her early 20s

So far it’s the only Zara fragrance I’ve liked on myself. If you like Angel Dust, give this one a try!
