No 1 Rose Petal Drops

I blind bought this one and I love it I don't think it lasts long but I only had it for 10 minutes, and I love this smell so I'm going to keep it. I tried white flower posy - hated it Edit: I sprayed exactly 9 hours ago. Within this time, I went to the beach, swim, came back home, showered and when I sniffed my hand it sill smells like rose petals. Test 1 spray, on the skin I don't know how it performs on clothes but I'm guessing more less the same. Although it lingers on the skin, I'm not sure how it projects because the scent is not 'strong'

A dewy, airier and fresher version of Fashionably London and I much prefer this one. This is also great for layering. An absolute love! EDIT: I’m absolutely in love with this scent and am going through my bottle quickly. I wish Zara would have this on sale permanently. Having used this for a while, It actually reminds me of an airier, brighter version of Rose of No man’s land but still retaining that soft spiciness from the pink pepper. IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes

Even though they both have rose water and rose Turkish delight vibes, this one is stickier and sweeter compared to the Rose Gourmand, which surprisingly feels fresh in comparison to Rose Petal Drops.

The best rose perfume that I have ever had, so refreshing and peaceful. I wear it with fashionably London, both works together so nicely. I smell sambac and rose, like I am in a garden.

I wanted to get rid of my D&G L'Imperatrice, but since I managed to get a bottle of Rose Petal Drops, I'm mixing both to get a 'Delina vibe' 😂 OMG love 😍 😍 a fresh rose for the summer

This is a nice perfume for rose lovers, as the rose notes are very prominent. However, if you already own Fashionably London from the Jo Malone and Zara collaboration, you will find this one far too similar. I did not have the chance to purchase Rose Drops perfume when it first launched and was excited when Zara reintroduced it in 2025. I bought it as a blind buy since there were no testers available in Zara (even in central London), and I decided to take the risk as I love many scents from this collaboration. However, I am now unsure whether it was the right decision, as it is extremely similar to Fashionably London, of which I already have two bottles that I am struggling to use up. It has not become my favorite scent from the range as it is quite heavy and reminds me of Middle Eastern fragrance brands. I was hoping this would be some sort of aquatic rose or at least more distinctive. Instead, it simply feels like a duplicate. Ironically, Zara appears to have created a dupe of its own perfume. Might change my mind as time goes by. But for now left with mixed feelings and slight annoyance at Zara that they stopped selling testing sets and bottles of 10ml and 30ml for the Jo Malone collection.

Blind bought this based on the notes and reviews thinking it would be just up my alley. I loved the pink pepper and rose combination of C’est la Rose by Zara and this was said to be similar to it, but i honestly don’t smell it. Yes they are in the same rose family but very distant cousins. It is a pretty scent but its much more heavy and sharp than i thought it would be. If you like soft and delicate scents this one’s not for you. It certainly isn’t for me. Reminds me quite a bit of Fashionably London also by Zara. As for the notes, i mostly smell the rose, pink pepper and patchouli, and almost none of the vanilla or the amber. To me its a very linear scent, but i could see myself liking it if it was on the right person, aesthetic and skin chemistry wise. Personally i’ll be decluttering it or gifting it to my mom, who i feel would suit this sort of profile better.

Well this was just a lovely surprise. I'll be honest, I wasn't even aware that Zara offered EDP formulations until I ran across this. What a lovely, affordable sweet rose. On my skin, it almost reads like a very muted Delina Exclusif: the rose and lychee notes are the star here, but they're soft and close where Delina (to my delight) announces itself. I could see this being super appropriate for an office setting and for the price, I'm personally pretty thrilled with it. I'm still getting moderate sillage and projection after over six hours of wear - unheard of for a Zara fragrance.

I received this beautiful dewy rose as a Mother's day gift. The only rose I'm interested is the one in YSL Paris or Fragonard Rose Lavande but I can appreciate this one: the subtle pink pepper opening, the light rose litchi heart notes and the hint of vanilla/patchouli in the dry down. As the weather is still cold, I will see how it develops in the warmer months. As mentioned by previous reviewers, there's an echo of Zara Fashionably London, especially in the drydown.

I got this about a week ago, and tested it only twice so far. I've tested PDM Delina but don't own it. I would say it's like a spicier version of Delina, and is a nice perfume. Also has quite good lasting power. But idk how much I like it for myself, I really love Delina. I wouldn't say it's a dupe unless you found Delina to sweet and wanted something spicier, it has more like a similar vibe to Delina. I'm not sure if I'll keep it, might update later.

This collection Rose Petals is something inbetween Jo Malone Red Roses, Jo Loves Rose Petals and Delina/Delina Exclusif. If you like roses, you need to get it, it is such an affordable rose scent. I am not that keen on roses, but I find it incredibly pretty, I just wish the atomizer was a bit nicer. The longevity is about 4 hours on me and honestly; I get a bit tired of the scent at the end.

This is interesting and quite longlasting. It is a musky-warm very synthetic rose which reminds me a lot of Experimentum Crucis - I like EC a lot better but this is not bad at all. A warning, I think it has akigalawood - I hate that note and it makes this a no to me but if you are not sensitive to it, it might just give warmth and depth to it.

I may be bias but I love most things from Jo Malone. As a bonus this also smells a little like Delina and a little like Rose Prick. This is a dewy and rosey amber scent that has decent longevity. Get it if you love rose scents.

the name is fitting. very very rose forward with very little complexity imo, but i honestly prefer this to rose gourmand, since that one came off kinda sickly heavy and grandma vibes while this is more fresh

This is a delicate pink dewy rose fragrance. Since the rose isn't very strong or overpowering, it would work great as a daily wear. Smell: 8 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine

I sprayed this on my arm today on a Zara store, it smelled nice, fresh and clean with roses, although too much alcohol but I guess it helps for projection. I waited around 5 minutes for it to dry down a little bit but sadly when I smelled my arm there was nothing.. I was disappointed. I will give it a try another time. I sprayed Red Temptation which lasted better (even after a shower) but I did not like it.

I really wanted to try this from the moment I saw the notes. Rose? Litchi? Black currant? Pink pepper? Love them all! Rose Petal Drops open with a realistic rose with the stem, made slightly tart by the pepper and the black currant. It reminds me of the rose of Florabotanica without mint and cannabis. I really like the opening, it’s fresh, juicy, feminine, uplifting, watery. After 10 mins you can get a slight scent of litchi, it’s so slight I don’t know if I’m imagining it. Then the drydown... rose and vanilla. Now, take Rose Gourmand. Take out the amber. Take out the fab longevity and sillage. That’s it. The dry-down is very disappointing and a bit boring and this fragrance goes to the drydown fast. Now as for sillage and longevity. Take the usually bad Jo Malone longevity and sillage, mix them to the bad Zara ones... and you get a disappointing fragrance. After 30 mins and 10 sprays, I can barely smell anything even going close to my wrist. I have a feeling the powerhouse fantastic collection of Red Temptation, Rose Gourmand and Bois Soleil is just a memory and we won’t ever get that beauty back. And to think this is priced so much higher than Rose Gourmand...

I really wanted to like this one- the bottle design is just so elegant and pretty. However, I get almost none of the fruity blackcurrant nor the litchi, and I can't detect the sweet vanilla either. If you told me this was just a pepper, rose and patchouli fragrance I'd believe you. The first impression is just sharp and almost bitter from the pepper, and the rose smells watery cheap to me and synthetic, nothing like the beautiful smell of real roses. Barely lasts 2 hours on me, its very faint and not overpowering. What a disappointment- I was so ready to love this, but it is just not for me.

something in the base of this one that's really metallic. citrus meze did not have the same note and was much nicer.

Has anyone been to Kuala Lumpur? I practically lived there on vacations as a teen. The shopping malls there have these little potpourri shops that sell English style trinkets and souvenirs and this perfume smells EXACTLY like that. I personally don’t like potpourri smell on myself. The rose is in the forefront and it’s strangely a little bittersweet, soapy and loud (sharp in the opening but smoothens out shortly after). I thought I liked it the first week.. But lately it’s been quite meh. Rather synthetic and metallic smelling after a while. I would say it’s in the same vein as MFK Ala Rose and L’eau Ala rose - that fresh florist cut rose (aesop diptyque kind of scent profile if you get what I mean). I see no resemblance in character to the two Delinas (which I own) which are more high end gourmand rose scents. Overall it’s a rose that everyone has smelt at some point of their life. Is it great? No. I will probably us it as linen spray for my bedsheets. Longevity is good. I’ve had this on my clothes and has lasted the whole day. EDIT: I quite dislike the drydown. And the longer I keep this fragrance around I like it less and less..

I got this one a couple of weeks ago and so far it's the only one I got from the two new lines. Overall, the new release seems to be a little bit lazier and "watered down" than the first — she created one theme and the same quote for all four fragrances in each line, whereas every other scent she made for the first drop had a unique story to it, which was a nice detail. The scents are also priced 2x than regular Zara scents, so this release feels a little bit more of a ripoff, personally. Rose Petal Drops, however, is a fantastic scent that I very much enjoy wearing. It gives me the same feeling and vibes as Absolutely Blooming by Dior and Delina by PDM. I'm not saying the are exactly the same, just similar. I get a jammy, juicy rose, like rose jam, and litchi. I love it, and compared to those two scents I mentioned, this is a lot cheaper, so in that sense, it's a great deal. Longevity and sillage are quite strong for me, which is great. Usually, if I spray a perfume before bed, I can't smell it in the morning. I could smell this one, though, and I love it. It's a win for me!

Out of the 4 Zara Rain perfumes, I surprising liked this the best and was most excited to use it. It's really intoxicating, evoking of juicy red roses with hint of litchi fruitiness. I've not yet to notice it developing too sour on my body chemistry. It's not a scent I would wear everyday nor do I want to offend anyone around me in close proximity. It has a tendency to be quite overwhelming and sharp on the nose. When applied lightly, it might be workable for office but it is truly better suited for evening outings & date nights. Update: To be absolutely honest, this perfume is kind of screechy. I haven’t worn it out for a full day since I got it. Cos I’m just not in the mood nor do I have the courage to wear a screechy/sharp and overly sweet fragrance for the whole day.

I love ZARA fragrances! I know most of them are clones or strongly inspired by other perfumes, but I think their selection of what to copy is very sophisticated and not mainstream and I especially love the new trend going towards nieche. This one is indeed a pretty good alternative to Delina, not a perfect match but the overall impression is similar. litchi-rose-vanilla: the main character is the same. Delina is more fresh and crispy with the rhubarb and more creamy in the drydown and also more intense, while Rose Petal drops is a bit more oriental due to the patchouli and amber

This one has the same musk base that is used in Initio Atomic Rose, for those who wonder about the similarity with Delina, these are not so remarkably similar...the rose in this is more synthetic and harsh and the musk more pungent, reminding me more of the Initio than of Delina. Good longevity, not the strongest sillage but for the price it is definitely ok to overspray! Lovely crisp scent with a bit of sourness. There are better stronger scents from Zara, this is just a summer fling.

I don't get litchi, pink pepper, vanilla, or amber. Maybe the vanilla and amber (?) are what contributes to the rose smelling slightly sweet (unlike certain real rose species) but not present as actual distinct notes. This perfume is just a slightly-sweet rose and patchouli fragrance to me, which is a bummer since I pretty much never like patchouli.

It opens with a clean, fresh rose scent, and as it dries down it thickens into something warm and sweet, very reminiscent of Fashionably London. If I didn’t already own that one, I would much rather choose Rose Petal Drops, as it feels lighter, more delicate, and airier than Fashionably London. The longevity and projection are enormous btw.

Perfect alternative for PDM Delina and the longevity is quite amazing for the price. Why spend a fortune when we can have Zara Rose Petal drops.
