Ocean Azure

This is a JPG Ultra Male clone/alternative. Very similar. Also has similarities with the Lattafa Ramz Silver. But not as musky. In the opening is very strong and has a strong sillage for an hour so. Maybe has a lack of frutines and citrus but not in a bad way. This is more wearable for me like the og or Lattafa Ramz Silver. Update: Much better than 9pm, specially in the dry down. And also the opening not that harsh as the 9pm

To me, this is pretty similar to his twin – Zara Ocean Blue – but it’s much less sticky and sweet. Opens very sweet and similar to Blue, but it's not so strong. It’s also much more of a skin scent and not as long lasting or as strong as Blue. Pleasant, a good blind buy and simple reach. I was expecting this one to be better, because I was really going into this Summer looking for a lavender forward fragrance and I really am a patchouli lover. But the Azure just seemed to be okay to me, and I prefer the Blue for sure.

Got this fragrance as a present last summer. The fragrance is insanely strong the first hour or so, so strong I almost can't stand it. The cinnamon is extremely present during the opening, once dried down the vanilla comes prominent. However, lavender? I can't recognise a lavender note in this fragrance at all. The fragrance is warm and sweet. However, in my opinion, this scent profile combined with this amount of strength doesn't work at all; I don't like the fragrance. Season: All seasons, day or night. Strength: 9/10 (10+ hours) Sillage: 9/10 Remark: Warm and sweet fragrance, not fresh like some say. Lavender note not prominent. Only for those who like a very present, long lasting fragrance. Otherwise this will intoxicate you. Overall grade: 5/10

To my nose this is a rerelease of Zara Gourmand Leather. I own several versions of that scent and Ocean Azure is very similar to them. Ocean Azure might be a bit fresher in the opening but the similarity is at least 90%. A good thing in my book because Gourmand Leather was always one of the best Zara scents so it's nice that it came back. For a good price too.
