Orchid 2019

I smell fig, apple, and peach. Vanilla is at minimum doze. Orchid, first of all most of orchids have no specific smell and even odorless. Only few rare expensive orchids do have scent. So don’t expect accurate interpretation of orchid in perfumery. Back to Zara Orchid, it’s a cheerful fruity fragrance with a hint of sourness, shampoo-ish character, not flowery nor vanilla centric. I rarely fall in love with this scent profile, I think I attracted because this perfume reminds me of the times I spent in the Netherlands a while ago. Not that it’s typically Netherlands smell, but I vaguely remember using a local brand shampoo that smells like this. It was a sweet memorable period in my life and the smell of Zara Orchid somehow associated with it.

A clean, fresh, beautiful scent. It is totally unrelated to orchid--orchid has no smell, and I tend to link orchid flowers with rich, sophisticated scents, like tuberose or iris. The opening smells like peaches and green apples, with some spirit-lifting lemon zest. The sweetness of the vanilla in the dry down brings more balance. Very fruity and delicious, smelling it makes my mouth water... It smells more like you just had a shower than you used a perfume. The longevity is decent on me, and it doesn't project a lot. It's simple but not boring. I think it's one of the best perfumes from ZARA.

This is almost an exact dupe of VS Bombshell. It's a fresh, girly scent with a citrusy punch. This isn't an in-your-face type of floral, and there's nothing overwhelming about it. A nice sillage with weak longevity, but I don't mind a respray here and there. There's something refreshing about topping up your scent with this on a hot summer's day.

It's one of the lightest perfumes I own, love it though! There is a "fresh" sweetness to it, perfect for summer days.. the only downside is that Zara perfumes don't last that long but I always have a small one with me to reapply 👌

This fragrance reminds me of VS bombshell seriously. I like the citrus and sweet smell. Not a big fan but it's just okay to me.

i got this as a "dupe" for VS Bombshell since it's my go-to summer scent for the humid weather i live in, however the longevity of Bombshell is a solid 30 mins, so i thought, Zara usually makes fragrances that last a moderate amount of time, i should try pairing it with Orchid. unfortunately on me it's a little too citrusy? in summertime sweet fragrances can be cloying however Bombshell has the perfect middle ground that Orchid wasn't able to capture imo. i just got Hibiscus and found what i was looking for in Orchid, yet i wouldn't call it a Bombshell dupe. plus the bottle is cuter so i recommend you check it out !

I got this as a blind buy with the Gardenia set. At first, I was disappointed. I heard it was a dupe for VS Bombshell which I tested in the store. When I received Orchid, I didn't find it a dupe at all. It's growing on me. It's a pleasant, fresh. Citrus Floral. I was looking for something similar to BBW A Thousand Wishes in a Perfume and this is similar enough that I am happy. A Thousand Wishes is a little more powder floral and less citrus. For summer I think Orchid is a winner.

Another shampoo-like fragrance from Zara, I got a mini from a sample set this year. The opening is very citrusy (kinda reminded me of some cheap deodorants for men at first...) but it quickly becomes softer and sweeter. I see myself wearing it for casual occasions during the day, it's very fresh and clean so it will work great during the summer. It's nice but nothing unique so I will probably use up my mini and that's it.

Cheerful kind of fragrance. Smells nothing like orchid or vanilla though. To me it smells like fresh bergamot with a hint of floral powdery so it's suitable for outdoor activities. The sillage is so so and definitely not long lasting. This is something I'll consider to wear on a morning/evening picnic in sunny-humid weather even though need to reapply every 2-3h. All in all, still worth the price

I got this in the 30ml scent with Gardenia. I agree with the other reviewer, this is a fresh scent. Is not very long lasting on skin, sillage is moderate at best from the beginning. In my opinion, this is a classy everyday scent. It's clean, reminds me of fabric softener, and works for women of all ages I think. For reference, my mother in her 50s smelled this and fell in love.

At first, it smells very similar to Victoria’s Secret Bombshell, which I really like. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long. It’s gone after about 2–3 hours, and the projection is quite soft. After a while, it starts to smell more like a room spray or air freshener than a perfume, which a few people also pointed out.

i'm not really a fan of the opening. it's way too citrusy for my liking. you can definitely smell the bergamot. once it starts to settle into your skin, it's more tolerable. the orchid is very light and i barely smell vanilla. it does last a good 2-3 hours... i wouldn't really purchase this one again though.

Very light and bright feeling - it's verging on sharp at the opening from the citrus. It does feel somewhat of a generic citrus/floral scent, but in a good way in that it isn't offensive or too surprising. For the price, it's definitely worth it, compared to other generic citrus/floral scents.

I really love this scent, it's everything I want in a fresh summer scent! I only wish it lasted longer; it's a continuous disappointment I have that when I find a scent I love, it's obviously not right for my skin as it fades away into a memory too quickly!

Apparently this is a dupe for VS Bombshell, which I don't have and have never smelt. It's light, fresh and floral perfect for daily wear, non offensive and quite "classic" smelling, it's nothing out of the box so I'd say most would like it

I'm shocked I haven't read anyone else saying this yet, but as much as I like this fragrance it reminds me too much of whatever air freshener they pump into Goodwill. Can't do it.

Nice and fresh, kind of smells like shampoo or hairspray but in a nice way. Always spray this on myself when I get out of the shower. Definitely a daytime/summery scent.

To me this smells like Marc Jacobses Disy, it's very girly, young, fresh and flowery. Really good gift for a young girl or somebody who enjoys flower markets.

Classic everyday floral lightness, somewhat powdery. Layers really well with something more 'sugary' to make it heavier! Great for casual office daytime wear.

i love this one! its my second favorite zara perfume so far. the only problem is that the longevity and sillage is shit (average for zara). 7/10

It's clean and crisp... almost sour. Great longevity for me and easy to wear day-to-day. Crowd pleasing, smells like "just having showered".

It is just like VS Bombshell , I really like this fragance so refreshing floral Sweet. I reaply every 2 hours does not last long

The Zara alternative to Victoria Secret's Bombshell. I don't see many difference in the smell, except that this one smells a bit cheaper in terms of quality. Also, Bombshell is more sensual and this one more... watery ...but maybe its due to the quality aspect I mentioned. Orchid smells really « affordable ». Like Bombshell, it's a clean, fresh and soft floral with a little (very little) hint of sweetness and it's harmless. Perfect for the summer or hot weather but not really my thing, and Bombshell either. Both are nice though but just not my cup of tea in terms of perfumes.

Please stop saying every light and fresh floral smells like Marc Jacobs Daisy, this is not Daisy at all. This is pure shampoo - clean, soapy, a bit of florals, a bit of citrus. Got this with the Gardenia set, it's nice and simple, would work well as an easy every day wear when you just want to smell pleasant, or an after shower scent. I'd mist this in my hair carefully as not to dry it, because no actual hair product scent ever sticks to it, so I can enjoy the freshly shampooed scent in my hair longer in between washes. I love freshly shampooed hair smell.

This was my first blind buy, and I honestly don't like it much. When you first spray it, it just smells like straight up alcohol and it's very overwhelming. Although the dry down is somewhat decent, it's not for me. So i ended up giving it away.

This fragrance has a very strong citrus opening and then it settles down into a soft bergamot and vanilla smell. I'm not a huge fan of the opening but overall this is a decent fragrance if you like citrus scents.

Ummm I honestly don't know what to say, I want to like this so bad but it smells so much like soap for me :( I like to use it like a room spray for my bathroom tho lol

This smells like mosquito repellent, but I don't hate it.

Reminds me of the vintage B&BW scent, Pearberry. Fruity, fresh, and incredibly generic and forgettable. A shampoo-like pear or apple with delicate florals and citrus.

Geez oh, this is..I'm not really sure what to say other than, what? First off, no orchid. Pretty disappointed, thought I was getting the 2021 version. But lucky for me Iike peach cause WOW. If you don't like peach, avoid. If you had this and it's laying around somewhere, give it a try now. The first spray, I got fresh citrus floral like a really clean fruity shampoo. Smells perfect for fresh out of the shower. But I sprayed another and WHOA. Got just punched in the face by floral peach. Actually very high quality white peach juice (the ones that look like lil doughnuts) and yeah, it was intense, and cloying. But weirdly, when I accidentally overspray, especially anything with raspberry, I'll get a low buzzing headache & nausea. This was really overwhelming and unpleasant but it didn't make me feel sick. Maybe I got lucky, but Zara definitely got my attention. I'm curious to see how they compare to Avon. Edit Update: I thought I got another version, but mine really smells so much like peach. Maybe the Bergamot + Orchid did that when you overspray, but I'm gonna try again to see if I still get the peach with 1 spray.

A light, bright and super fresh fragrance from the house of Zara. Mostly, I wear it for casual occasions and outings as this makes me feel very clean and fresh. It works amazingly with my skin chemistry specially during the summer. I get the shampoo like fragrance from it which is pretty nice, mild and very light reminding me one of the vintage B&BW scent, pearberry. The citrusy and fruity opening is quite a heart catcher which settles to soft, sweet and smooth scent pretty soon. Best part about this scent is that it is not offensive at all making it highly versatile. Surely a Legit with the competitive price and Zara seller. This does not have an outstanding longevity but just lasts for few hours so I always do carry a small one for reapplication and the silage is moderate from the beginning itself. If you like classic smell, grab it. Also, the presentation is just awesome and juice is flawless. It can never go wrong and so could be even gifted to someone or taken as blind buy. Another plus point about the Orchid is that it layers well with many of the scents. Worth buying.

I blind bought a Travel size a while a go and I liked so much that I bought a bigger bottle. There is nothing too special about it, is floral and sweet, with a tiny hint of freshness that makes the sweet not to be overpowering. I like to use it to work, because it doesn't offends anyone. Don't know why exactly, I feel like my travel size lasts longer on the skin than the bigger bottle, can it be a false perception or I just didn't got lucky.

I hated it at first sniff. I was glad that it was just part of a sampler set and not a full bottle. I don't know how to explain it, but every once in a while I test a fragrance and it reacts badly with my chemistry I guess. I get a weird accord that I hate and I just can't wear it, this is one of those situations. Not for me for sure, but it doesn't smell half bad in paper.

Got this in the orchid and gardenia set and kept trying to figure out the smell as it just seemed so familiar! Then I remembered .... Victoria Secret bombshell!!! Which I grew tired off and passed down to my daughter. This seems brighter though but I’m almost sure I’ll be giving this to her soon. Not bad, but not just my cuppa T.

I used to dislike Zara Orchid that it has been on the shelf for two years untouched, covered in dust. I even forgot how it smelled like. But today I reach for it and this actually smells good?? Easy to wear citrus with a hint of vanilla. Not so sparkling. The SPL is meh, but decent enough for a Working From Home frag.

I don't know why, but I can hardly smell this. I thought it happened because it was weak, but recently I received compliments when I was wearing it, so I guess I'm anosmic to it....maybe....... I think is a fresh fruity floral, light and very very subdue. I use it for my homeoffice days. Nothing to write home about.

the opening is too strong that I almost can't stand to smell it but the dry down is somehow good? I'm not a fan of floral scents but I actually like this fragrance. it's like a basic florally fragrance to go, simple and fresh.

One sour note clinged to me nose for hours when I wore this. It made this perfume unwearable for me. Sadly Zara perfumes that I like seem to disappear within minutes and the ones I dislike cling to me day and night.

Just received this and although I don't like the lime opening, I'm hoping the drydown will get better. I'll keep you posted.
