Orchid Intense 2018

The name? It's if you called your cat "Fido", a dog name in Norway. BUT: The perfume is wonderful, and the price is even more wonderful, to me; first there is the apple, kinda sour, but the sourness doesn't last, than there is the amber, than I can detect the roses, and then there is the color, I love-love it, and second it's the big 100ml bottle; it's easy for my tiny hands to grab this lookalike leatherbottle, otherwise my other Zara perfumes are hard to hold when I'm spraying - because they glip out of my fingers. Also it reminds me of an other Zara perfume I have; Twilight mauve, and my lovely fav Siren of Paris Hilton :D And, I nearly forgotten to talk about the drydown - it's so gorgeous on my skin, I cannot stopp sniffing, and it last for a long time, many hours, and it also smells great on my clothes, I can smell it from yesterday, go and grab it now - if you can - and whilste it's still around in the shops - my copy was the last on the shelfer - and now: Get up and boggie!!!

I like it! This is a simple crowdpleasing just-out-of-the-shower scent. It's a classic shampoo smell. You can't go wrong with this. Perfect to keep in your bag at work, wear to the gym or just rock it whenever it's hot and humid. I live in a super hot climate so I really appreciate a simple fresh summer scent. It's not complex, but it works. I will say I don't get any of the notes listed, so I wouldn't look to those for an idea of what this smells like. To me, this is the vibe of that blue Ralph Lauren perfume from the early 2000s, the one with the shampoo smell. Nothing groundbreaking but I can't fault it!

It's not my favorite scent and it definitely doesn't smell like orchids. However, it is quite a nice fresh and clean, just-out-of-the-shower scent. It's not very sweet and more floral than fruity. The sillage and projection are enormous. 2 sprays and I can smell myself all day. 5 sprays and people 6 feet away can smell me through their masks. For the noses that cannot stand sweetness, this one's for you. It gets me compliments as well. Overall, I'd recommend this. Very safe and inoffensive, not to mention, cheap :) My longest-lasting and most intense Zara for sure.

There's a really screechy, sour woody note on this that just doesn't sit right with me, probably the amber? On the dry down it becomes slightly soapy but this woody note remains prominent still and it's just not wearable for me. Agree on the green and rose accords but I get none of the fruity ones or apple at all. I see it recommended for spring and summer but to me this is not fresh at all? I got this during 2021 so I'm wondering if there was any reformulation (notes seem the same though). This seems too intense for hot weather imo, I've been trying it while it's chilly. Might update as I try it on different weather. I got a mini and won't probably use it up.

I bought all the samples. I have Orchid on one arm amd the intense on the other. I'm about to go wash it off and gift it to an apple scent lover. This frag does not like my skin..smells hella synthetic and nauseating on me but on the paper it smells fine. It may smell better on someone with a different chemistry. Edit I gavento my room mate who sprayed it and instantly fell in love. She was thrilled with the gift. She asked me to smell it on her and my stomach turned. Apparently theres a note that doesn't agree with me personally.

Blind buy... I really regret getting this even though it was cheap. Usually I don't mind because I can spritz the house / car / kids clothes etc but this is just overpowering and doesn't seem to change from the initial intense smell. Such a shame because on paper I should get along with this fragrance!

Este aroma me encanta, su dulzor mezclado con lo amaderado, su duración y estela, lastimosamente es mi país ya no se encuentra y era mi perfume firma. Alguien conoce alguno muy similar??

Are you serious, Zara? Rose, apple and amber makes orchid?! Imma pass this.
