Red Temptation For Him

Zara have re-released this fragrance under a new name. Zara For Him, Red Edition EDP. It has the exact same ingredients as Zara Red Temptation. I saw this on the counter by the til, and sprayed it onto my skin. It is a beautiful scent and very animalic so I on impulse, purchased it. There is also a very warm spicy like aniseed smell on my skin that again adds to how beautiful this scent really is. I will be wearing this when I go for mighty hoopla weekender in Butlins and see how it fares with the crowd.

This was a blind buy but I ended up purchasing only 10ml. I'm glad. I don't know what BR smells like but this smells like burnt medicinal candy in a hot car? I've had it for 2 months now and it is NOT for me. The more I wear it the more I dislike it. Longevity and projection are great though.

I understand why everybody thinks this is a dupe for Baccarat Rouge, but believe me it is not. I own Baccarat Rouge and Mancera Amber Fever. I actually own many Manceras. First time I smelled Amber Fever I also thought it was so much like Baccarat Rouge. But then when you test them side by side you smell the difference. Yes they carry the same dna but Baccarat Rouge is much safer, warm, fluffy, foody. Amber Fever is stuffed with ambroxan giving it a much manlier, more metallic, much muskier feel. Almost sweaty, probably hence the name fever. So this Red Temptation does exactly that, its almost sweaty. So because of this similarity I bought all the bottles of this line and I can confirm they are all Mancera clones because I compared them to my Manceras. Very good dupes I might add, slight less longevity but then again thats not so wrong because Manceras are killers.

Red temptation is available in the Zara online store again as of October 2021. This time only in the women's section. It has the same bottle with a slightly different print on it. I have not tested this year's version so I can't say whether it's reformulated but the original was a great smelling fragrance with a strong performance. If it's still the same it's one of the most interesting fragrance buys you can make in Zara. There's also a new fragrance called Zara For Him Red Edition that lists evernyl as a note which a suspect will be a fragrance inspired by Baccarat Rouge. (Evernyl is the note that is responsible for that signature Baccarat Rouge "burnt candy" smell.) PS: Amber fusion and Rose Gourmand are also back but True Leather, a fragrance community favorite from the same line from last year seems to be missing (for now?).

This is the BEST Baccarat Rouge dupe there is out there in my opinion. I like it even better than Baccarat which wears too burned candy and medicinal on my skin. I actually decided to sell my Baccarat EDP bottle I’ve had sitting mostly unused. Red Temptation is less complex and that’s fine by me, I find it smooth and a great value. I get 12+ hours wear. This and the women’s version are quite similar but I like the men’s better. (Night Pour Homme V is closer to the extrait Baccarat in my opinion but not nearly as good as this)

I have Baccarat and I wanted to find a dupe, that costs less so I opted for Red Temptation. I do agree with the other reviewers that this is 90% similar to baccarat rouge with above average performance. However, just like the other dupes I've tried, Red Temptation is also heavy on the woody notes. But BR540 is more transparent and not harsh on the woody notes. For the price I think it's a great fragrance, but it unfortunately won't replace BR540 for me. (I wish it would have, because my bank account would have been happier).

Similar to Un Sur La Jardine Lagune by Hermes. Love it!!! Picked randomly at Zara and it is the best perfume ever picked so far. Quite long lasting, it stayed even after washing all dishes. I'm addicted to it! I ordered another 2 bottles online but later on saw reviews saying that Zara online items are faulty mostly. Hopefully mine will be fine. 🤞🤞

Saw “Zara red for him” at the store. It’s not online though so maybe a new bottle?? it smelt just like baccarat rouge. Not really any projection and it smelt like vegetables when first sprayed on skin but after that very similar to br540 maybe the slightest bit more nutty/woody

I had a sample of baccarat rouge and thought it smelt amazing. Obviously it’s expensive and I had heard about this being a very good dupe. It is for about 20 seconds. Unfortunately after that it changes completely and goes more towards a victor and Rolf smelling fragrance.

The saffron note is very strong in this one . This frag smells like a bank note , yes! smell like a rich business person who is working on the Wall Street . I have Ajmal- Shadow grey for him and I think it smells similar

Ousenpai. The red temptation for him and her are the same, like all others in this line. Night pour homme is Baccarat Rouge and the blue bottle called the poplin shirt is aqua universalis.

gogiciano because I believe this is not supposed to be Baccarat Rouge but Mancera Amber Fever. I think this line is a dupe for Mancera.

Way better than the Zara Night pour Homme V release. Don't know why Zara releases 2 almost identical frags in such a short time.

Guys, this whole line is Mancera. Black Prestigium, Velvet Vanilla, Roses Vanille, Saharian Wind, Amber Fever.

These ones are supposed to resemble Manceras. Just saying.
