Red Temptation Summer

I didn’t love this when I first smelled it cause I have red temptation but for some reason expected it to smell like a version of the original. After sitting with it for a day, it started growing on me when I stopped trying to pick out the BR540 notes cause they’re not there. I had sprayed it on the box and left the box on my nightstand. While I was in bed reading, I kept getting wafts of the scent and it smelled so good! The sweetness of the praline really shines this way and the rose comes out too. The scent changes as you wear it and I now love it so much. I’m not normally a fan of peonies or rose scents but I can say this one is really good! I love adding new scents to my collection that help me branch out to things I’m not used to. I highly recommend this! Edit: After a month of wearing this scent it has become one of my all time favourites! I layer this with RT elixir and it’s so addicting. I get so many compliments on my perfume everyday. I’m team oversprayer with this one and it lasts the whole day and is so forgiving. I’ve now purchased 4 backup bottles!

I wanted to try this one as soon as I saw it in stores since I have been impressed by the Red Temptation line at Zara. I have the OG Red Temptation and the Winter version of it as well. This new flanker does not have any resemblance to the OG Red Temptation fragrance. This one is softer, airy, romantic, floral with a bit of tartness in the opening. It really reminds me of Ex Nihilo’s Lust in Paradise and Fleur Narcotique. It’s really a wonderful surprise and I am loving it. The only downside is that it only lasts 4-5 hours on my skin and projection is only good the first hour then it becomes a skin scent. I would recommend it nevertheless since the price point is unbeatable for this kind of DNA. Run and try it on your skin!

An incredibly floral, fruity, romantic and soft scent that leans feminine and is perfect for everyday wear during the warmer months. The fragrance opens with a blend of sweet and juicy litchi and raspberry. The moss note is faint, but it’s not an earthy, natural, bitter, and dark forest kind of moss, but more reminiscent of fresh dew covered moss on a warm spring morning. On the dry down, it evolves into a powdery peony dominated fragrance with hints of a young rose and warm, laconic, caramelized sugar. It didn’t project much on my skin, but I had a lovely scent bubble once I sprayed it on my clothes. It lasted about 6 hours on skin and 12 on clothing.

One of my most complimented scents! I was waiting for the elevator when a girl standing next to me said, "You smell very nice!" From that, I realized it projects at least two feet away. Even though it's called Red Temptation Summer, I don’t smell Red Temptation (the original) at all. I get notes of lychee, rose, and something ozonic (may be the 'fresh' accord?)—especially lychee. It’s not a complex scent and stays linear on me (I only tried it on clothes, not on skin). The longevity was 8+ hours on clothes. A sweet, fruity smell—perfect for summer.

In short, this fragrance went from total neutrality to a signature scent. At first sniff I almost passed on it. I guess that was because I expected something like the original red temptation. After a month of not wearing this, I gave it a last chance and I realised this is so easy to wear. It is beautiful, youthful but not cheap, classic. Easily a signature scent, I hope this never gets discontinued. Longetivity and sillage are medium, but I don't mind, I don't get migraines from this. Doesn't remind me to burberry her at all.

What? Bad review?! This is lovely, peony and fruity ending in sweetness. It does contain a certain Red Tempation DNA but it ends there. Regret didn’t buy the winter flanker before it sold out. It’s moderate projection for the first couple hours then it became a skin scent that lasted on me forever. I bought it for £19.99 then the week after Zara rose the chapters series price to £22.99. ive been wearing this everyday, tempted to get another bottle before it sells out.

A beautiful, delicate fruity floral scent. Raspberry can turn into a nightmare for me, but I'm surprised by how beautifully it blends with juicy litchi. This smells amazing on its own, but also layers wonderfully with the OG Red Temptation. Like most Zara fragrances, works and stays much better on hair and clothes than on skin. Reminds me a bit of Zara's Caramelos Artesanos en Barcelona perfume, but luckily not as cloying. I really enjoy this.

this is pretty, light, feminine, sweet, fresh and just a perfect daytime summer scent. it opens with that youthful fresh rose that u get in rose gourmand but this has lychee/raspberry lingering in it. kind of leans generic..but a safe blind buy and a very likeable fragrance. smells nothing like delina...and nothing like the original red temptation. ordered a back up it's so addicting

dont be fooled by bad reviews. this is easily so pretty and safe especially for summer, dates, everyday wear. easily compliment magnet. it's sweet, fresh, fruity, rosey, just a perfect feminine scent and theirs nothing really floral about it,it's blended so well. it's giving greenwich village delina distant cousins. zero tartness and overall pleasing scent to the nose

COULD IT BE??? This is a dupe of Delina but with the base of B540, including the medicinal saffron note. What a brilliant idea to make these two ultra popular fragrance have a baby! I can see this becoming a viral scent. Grab it before it sells out.. Edit: sillage is beast... I got scolded at the gym from just 1 small spray on my shirt. oops

This blind buy is the most beautiful surprise! It is airy crispy tart sweet and light. Like a sparkling drink with a splash of jammy rose & lychee water sprinkled with effervescent burnt sugar crystals. Polite but confident projection and sillage. Longevity off the charts. I am absolutely in love. 10/10

very pretty, feminine, graceful fresh fruity floral. litchy and peony are prominent. yes, it has something that reminds me of the og, but just a little something in the drydown. no, it has nothing in common with burberry her. zara's dupe of burberry her is go fruity.

This fragrance is just a lovechild of Baccarat, LVEB En Rose and Kate Spade New York...I would never expect to love something like that so much. This is too pretty, staying power and sillage are as well impressive for such a cheapie.

This smells like mix of Delina and Baccarat Rouge 540. It last on my skin the whole day and last on clothes for days. At the moment the weather is still cold yet it does last. Wait when it gets warmer then it might project even more.

Fruitier and more feminine than the original. A much safer blind-buy than the OG and Winter flanker. Long-lasting and my favourite of the three. Doesn't smell alike in any way, but if you liked Rose Gourmand, you would love this.

for the price its okay. Lasts 2 hours max Its slightly fruity, with significant notes of freshness, rose and gentle amber. Good for daytime in summer. I think this scent fits everyone, its generic but very very lovely.

I have both this one and the regular Red Temptation and definitely prefer this one. The regular one is extremely powdery, this one is not as extreme. Just beautiful and light, definitely a compliment reciever (:

Just delicious, Fruity, bursty, very summer fresh, such a beautifu fresh care free scent. I wish the projection and longevity was better but great for the price.

This is a very feminim skin scent. Its beautiful and a nice sweet peony freshy. Its completely different than the OG.

RT Summer is a great summer freshie, with candy-ish fruity opening and fresh amber base, surprisingly good longevity and projection. I find it to be unique enough to differ from classic citrus-floral-fresh designer scent pyramids, but still it has that distinct summer vibe that will probalbly shine throught the most during heatwave. As for the duping aspect... It's hard to pinpont what exactly RT Summer is supposed to be a dupe of. Yes, there is a hint of Burberry Her edp and edt, but both versions of Her have more of a woody than ambery base and their opening is more juicy. There are similarities to notorious Baccarat/Cloud DNA in all of these, including RT Summer which is basically gives a similar impression without being heavy and overwhelming (hence it is marketed as a summertime perfume, I guess?). There are hints of Very Good Girl and Angel Nova as well - a bit of rosy tartness, and litchi, of course. But - there is always a but - having tried all of these, I can't really say RT Summer is their clone - maybe a distant cousin at most. I can't say anything about similarities to Fleur Narcotique or Delina since I've never tried any of those. In my opinion, it's a mix between Burberry Her vibe with a slight touch of OG Red temptation, without the medicinal note, and with a larger dose of amber.

Definitely similar to Burberry her edt, not a dupe for it (about 60% similar). Milder perfume both in projection, longevity and notes, which could be a good thing for some people. If you find Burberry her edt too screechy( personally l do sometimes even if l overall like it)this one is similar and same type floral-fuity fragrance that comes up much more wearable (note-wise) on skin. Longevity could be better but it's manageable , def. not for those who prefer only beast mode fragrances. Burberry her edt last much longer,but that one is really beastly on my skin(l've got a tester bottle, don't know if that has to do with anything). I don't find it similar to the og red temptation while Burberry her edp and edt do have some faint similarities.

Okay so I have been wearing this since it arrived last week , and I will say that this flanker is pretty decent and great for the price. I have the parfums de marly delina , and like a few other reviewers, I feel that this could definitely be a dupe of delina .... With a little bit of br540 dna. The only difference in my opinion is that delina is more floral as well as longer lasting , and red temptation summer has more of a hint of a sweet fruity note ... kind of like kayali eden juicy apple. I have received quite a few compliments so far while wearing ... no different than when wearing delina paired with br540. All in all , I think red temptation summer is sweet , fruity , floral , and a sexy fragrance that can be worn all year round.

Oh this has to be my favorite Zara perfume so far! It reminds me of funfairs at the beach, romantic movies by the pool, raspberry lemonade, just a pretty girl scent. This is for someone joyful and leans extroverted. It's not offensive but it's delicious smelling enough to be noticed. I can see the Burberry Her similarities, but it straight up reminds me of Ariana Grande's Ari most due to that raspberry, floral kind of smell. The best Red Temptation in the line, get this one if the OG is too screechy or earthy for your taste and you will fall in love!

I think it’s a good scent. It smells like a sweeter version of the OG, Red temptation. The scent lasts long on clothing. It’s nothing special right now but it may gain more favor with me in a couple of months. A safe blind buy for sure. Update4/21/23: it’s a no. Wore it for the second time ever, today. After a few hours I started smelling must lol! I know what you’re thinking- maybe i was musty lmao. I wasn’t because that was the first thing i checked. The must smell was only in spots where I sprayed the perfume.

It's sooo basic compared to the original. I like it, it's a good perfume but nothing like Red Temptation for Her. I smell a strong litchi mixed with peony and for a while a little moss too, which is very pleasing to my nose. Sadly the mossy scent isn't present the whole time, it disappaears in about an hour. Then it becomes a nice flowery fruit scent and the raspberry is more noticable in this period. Overall, it's worth it and is a safe blind buy, not at all outstanding like the original which I deeply love.

This is a very close dupe to Burberry Her EDT (the green bottle). It has very strong lychee notes which makes it a very enjoyable juicy fruity scent for warmer weather. The longevity and sillage could be improved on. The smell lasts for only 3 hours max and the projection is maybe an arms length from someone. However, it's a great cheap imitation if you don't want to drop a lot of money on the Burberry Her. You just need to respray more often. 8/10

Absolutely love this. Sweet floral soft summer scent, not much OG in this. However, i need to point out that for me, this went bad in one year. I keep my perfumes in a dark cool place, but something happened to this, and it started to smell off, and lost the delicate notes and started to smell very alcoholic. The same happened to my other favorite, sublime epoque, so it is something to be aware of.

Surprised to say this one grew on me. Purchased and decluttered a bottle in 2023 because I found it had no longevity and reminded me too much of shampoo or Winter Candy Apple (B&BW). Zara now sells a 30ml bottle so I gave it another shot since the tester was out, and I surprisedly loved it. On my skin I get raspberry, lychee, and sweet flowers, lasting about 4 hours.

This is very nice. It has the DNA of the OG Red Temptation but more fruity. It reminds me of a lighter version of CH Very Good Girl. Sprayed around 6am and got complimented after 1pm so that's very good considering I go back & forth from office to a warehouse, so that's a win for me. Perfect for Spring & Summer!

Purchased by mistake BUT however not disappointed at all. For a small amount of money you can get a copy of Burberry Her actually with same sillage and longevity for 4 times cheaper then Burberry. I think it is value xD lasts for me like 3-4 h also a simple bottle - very convenient to store in your bag

By far, one of the best Zara perfumes of all time! I always get tons of compliments when I'm wearing it. Super fruity opening, with a strong peony note as well. As it dries down, the praliné gets its chance to shine. Stunning ❤

I wore this on a tropical holiday and it was a happy, inoffensive, citrusy scent which suited well. It’s similar to BR540 but not the same performance. However, as a throwaway holiday perfume, it was perfect for the job!

I get mostly fresh crispy rose and something fruity. Was nose blind for a bit but went ham spraying it on my arm and I caught the scent. Doesn't have any regular red temptation to it. Very pleasant.

Alighter, more citrussy version of the original Red Temptation which as people know, is a dupe for BR540. The summer version does not remind me of BR540 much, it‘s a nice scent but nothing special.

As a first impression, this is a blend of Kayali Eden Juicy Apple and Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. It’s lovely for the price and definitely a win if you like sweet raspberry or litchi perfumes 😊

I've tried it a couple of times. I like it, but I'm glad I didn't purchase it. For the most part I don't like peony but, especially in Zara's perfumes I cannot stand it.

very similar to red temptation, a little more on the fruity side. if you already have the original (“original”) it’s not worth purchasing this one as well

Pretty scent but longevity and sillage are poor would recommend the smallest bottle you can find so you can top up every 10 minutes

Incredibly similar to Burberry Her!! Once I totally confused these two on a lady and I can feel the same on me

I've had this fragrance for a while now and really hoped if I left it to macerate I'd actually smell some of the notes others are getting, I don't. I still get an alcohol blast and perhaps something fruity but only for a few minutes then it's gone! Nothing like Delina as others have suggested, I have Delina and it just doesn't compare. I'm a big fan of Zara fragrances, I have the original red temptation , rose gourmand, and golden decade, which I find to be much better and all have lasting power. This one is a fail for me - unfortunately.

'Summer' definitely fits. Not sure about any similarities to the original Red Temptation, I much prefer this one actually. It's very fruit forward to me, the litchi is the most present note even after 1 hour - it smells very young and girly, not a negative just not my usual preference. After trying it again on another visit I'm seriously debating getting it.

litchi, raspberry, rose, musk is what stands out the most to me. the dry down is a little sour. an inoffensive, safe blind-buy fragrance for warmer months. i consider this a skin scent... cute but nothing special.

I really liked this when I got it. I'm not really using it now, as the baccarat rouge 540 drydown really bothers me. Top notes are beautiful though.

This smells so nice and is so good for the summer. But it last like 20 mins on me and it just disappears. What a waste.

The initial spray is fun. Floral and fruity. A bit tart. But the drydown smells like all other Zara scents.

In my case, I have to agree with buffybases below. Not a fan of Red Temptation, I was curious to see if the flanker would be better. The scent smells great on paper and the first few seconds I get the Red Temptation DNA but with a twist of a delicious sweet rose but... it got rancid very quickly on my skin, and develops a kinda beer or even bread smell! Weird. I don't blame the juice; it's more my nose and the reaction with my skin that is weird. The smell on the paper also becomes weird after some time. I tried RT Summer in 2 Zara shops so on several papers. On the drydown on my skin, Red Temptation appear only and for a while so this perfume holds on skin, unfortunately for me... I was going to buy it and even was ready to go to the till because of the scent on paper during the first minutes, but a little voice told me to "test it on the skin", and I was so right to listen to myself! So my advice: try it on your skin and if on a paper, wait a bit . Preferably not blind buy, unless you are a Red Temptation fan already, you have really high chances to like it for sure :)
