Red Temptation Tobacco

One thing you need to know about me is that perfumes never last - my skin eats them up faster than I’d like. What’s that? A £200 skin scent within 30 mins? No thanks. This guy, however. Well, well, well...hours. HOURS. It reminds me of Red Temptation, but it’s so much deeper and more interesting. Ever get a perfume where you immediately love it and feel like it’s on your wavelength, like it affects your energy and makes you feel better? I know I sound unhinged but that’s how I feel about this. I adore Z&V This Is Her but it doesn’t feel like that to me - I was surprised to see it listed as similar. I don’t think this smells much like anything else I have in my collection. I love it!

Very evidently Red Temptation albeit stronger and with a sweet warm tobacco in the mix. The tobacco is not up front on me as I had hoped. It’s a similar tobacco to Rich, Warm, Addictive, which I love. It’s pretty big as a fragrance on initial spray and if you are downright sick of RT and BR540, Cloud etc it’s not different enough to be novel. It is however very wearable, pleasant and lasts all day. I think it will stay overnight on clothing and could very well scent scarves for the whole season. I have tried this and will set it down for autumn safe in the knowledge it will do well in cooler weather. Nice but probably unnecessary. Excellent value for money longevity wise.

I can't understand how anyone could say it doesn't last, on me it lasts until I shower. I actually bought it because I was wearing a cotton hoodie when I sampled it in store, loved it but didn't buy it because it was very similar to other perfume I own. Days after I washed the hoodie and a week later I kept smelling something similar to incense while wearing said hoodie. It took me a while for to figure it out, but I realized it was this perfume. DO NOT BLIND BUY, i love it but can't wear it every day, wouldn't cross my mind to use it at work.

I bought this cause Cocopebz on YouTube highly recommended it. This is definitely a unique scent I don’t already have in my collection but still piggybacks off the original Red Temptation DNA. It’s floral jasmine and sweet. The tobacco adds a layer of depth to the sweetness to make it smell more cozy and warm. It’s an all year round all day all night fragrance to me but still very sophisticated.

This will likely be the best-seller of the collection. It's also the only one that stays true to the original Red Temptation DNA. Don't be fooled by the name—there's hardly any tobacco note to perceive. Think of it as if Baccarat 540 and Libre Intense had a child: that's Red Temptation Tobacco. The performance is excellent, with longevity exceeding 8 hours and moderate projection.

Wow, I did not expect this kind of performance from a Zara fragrance. It lasts forever on both my skin and clothes. To my nose, it smells incredibly clean. I can understand why some people might find it overpowering, but for me it’s a clean, boozy, mysterious, and bold scent. Surprisingly confident and addictive.

Since the bottle design changed, I honestly feel like the performance has dropped a lot. The scent fades much faster and doesn’t last nearly as long as the old version. I used to really enjoy this perfume, but the new bottle feels quite disappointing. Has anyone else noticed a difference, or is it just me?

I highly recommend this, most say that it’s kinda like a rouge dupe but putting that aside it’s really long lasting like, even after showering i can still sense it. I applied some on one t shirt and even after taking it out of the washing machine, i could still sense it strongly. It’s neat

when i saw this in the store, i was intrigued by the tobacco scent. even though i wouldn't be able to tell that it has any tobacco notes, it's still a really good perfume. might not be for everyone, since the scent is quite strong, deep and a bit sweet, but nevertheless i love it

When I saw that Zara had released Red Temptation Tobacco, my eyes immediately lit up because I thought I would receive a full-blooded unisex product that I had to test. I was intrigued by the addition of tobacco to the baccarat core, but it turned out that it was not entirely a unisex composition. First of all, despite the name, the mentioned tobacco is not the main chord here, it is very blended with the other notes and does not stand out too clearly. The tobacco here is heavily sweetened and spiced with jasmine, which makes this perfume more feminine. There is also a lot of pink pepper, which stands out most in the opening. The beginning is even slightly fruity and quite sweet. Then the bandage-hospital vibe known from the classic Red Temptation begins to appear, but it is softer and more floral. I'm surprised that there is no sandalwood in the notes that I can feel, the scent is creamy, soft and I agree with the opinions that it is very similar to Zadig&Voltaire This is Her! The tobacco note is present but very delicate and the jasmine and pink pepper keep it on the feminine side. I still have the bottle, but before I give it away I will use it a few more times to make sure I don't see this perfume in my collection. Now I at least know what typical women's tobacco perfumes smell like. The parameters are quite good, although it is not a strict top, even considering Zara. Longevity on the skin is about 7 hours and projection is rather low. The intense, dark red bottle looks beautiful. 7/10

This reminds me of fields at nightfall. To be an extrait it really does not have longevity and projection I would expect. Falls in line with most zara fragrances when it comes to that. This is def nowhere near smelling like BR in my opinion. I also do not detect the tobacco. Overall it is a nice fragrance, but I wish I would have gotten the sandalwood one instead. It will take me a while I feel to put a dent in this fragrance as it just never fits most of the occasions of use I anticipated using it for. It does not scream sexy, date night, or even outdoor occasion such as family picnic or ballpark. Maybe it will end up fitting an occasion in the fall or winter.

Got this when it launched and it was a very strange fragrance. It’s sweet and fruity, very feminine. I don’t know how raw tobacco smells like, but this fragrance is sweet and has some red fruit notes. I put 2-3 sprays on a Tshirt 2 days ago and left it on a hanger, whenever I pass by it the whole place smells like this fragrance, this is strong and projects great. For Zara and for the money I paid, I say this is a great deal!

If a marginally milder with less of the lactonic note version of This is Her or Fields At Nightfall. As I have both of these perfumes I didn’t buy it. The original Red Temptation can be smelt faintly in the distant dry down after around 5 hours.

A safe, everyday masculine scent, but difficult to describe. It's linear, not sweet, rather dry and formal. It won't choke anyone but smell like some unknown substance. The tobacco with a slight cloves comes through on clothes the next day, but it's heavily overshadowed by other ingredients, so you have to get a feel for it up close. BCR 540 isn't present, perhaps a trace in the background, in very masculine way. On women, it smells masculine, so I wouldn't recommend it. On men, it's not bad, but nothing spectacular. The price is much too high for this fragrance profile. Only the performance holds up very well. Better scent to daily wear will be some Tobacco Vanille type of fragrance. Zara is in similar area to Daarej pour Homme Rasasi (also very long lasting but boring) but it's a way better, different and less washing powder. Owerall similar to those i mentioned. Longevity is excellent, sticking to skin and clothing like glue, lasting for more than 7 days on cotton fabric. Projection is strong and tailed for the first 3-4 hours. One hit on courtain can fill a room to the next day.

This is so weak, it is disappointing 😞 I really wanted to get this because the notes are promising but I had to overspray like crazy to smell something at all. I don't know if the tester was off.. the slight scent I smelled was gorgeous but the quality is not there. However the Sandalwood version of this is truly strong and gorgeous, I recommend that one.

I guess they used Tobacco-fruit flavored vape juice to create this. Seriously, it is ridicolusly sweet for a tobacco fragrance. Exclusively for fans of ultra-sweet fragrances. Great performance, slightly weaker than the sandalwood version. Feminine-leaning unisex.

I've been lurking this site since 2017, I think, but this is the one that p.ssed me off so much I actually made an account. Sprays on as melting plastic cup, dries as hairspray, and eventually the burnt sugar takes it into cheapest floral dry shampoo you got after they threw your out at the airport. Legitimately coughed from it. Horrible. After about two hours it becomes mostly inoffensively bland. I'll be keeping to the JM collabs.

I soooo hate myself for buying this blind. It has nothing to do with original Red temptation nor Red temptation winter which I love the most. I even can't smell it after 1 minute. Lucky me because the scent is unpleasant. Will pass it, I don't want to smell like wet cigarette.

This is horrible. I smell like a peppercorn. I didn’t mind the smell until I put it on my skin so might be how it sits on me but I can’t stand it.

This thing is potent. Having worn BR 540 and the extrait a lot recently, I got obsessed with the DNA. People say this DNA leans feminine but I don’t see that at all. Ok testing in store, I thought this tobacco one smelled similar to the BR 540 extrait, that’s why I bought it. Having worn it a few times now, it’s really pretty different and does its own thing. It’s loud, somewhat abrasive, it’s got that punchy saffron/metallic nature to it but has a sweetness that far exceeds the OG BR540. I enjoy it but it lacks the airiness of the OG edp or the well blended other worldliness of the extrait. Enjoyable enough and I will use it all but I won’t repurchase. Performs very well, lasts all day, not sure how much it projects but I can definitely smell it myself for a good 8 hours before it calms down. As a dupe, it’s closer to the extrait but not really close. 4/10 in terms of closeness As its own thing, it’s strong and interesting. I’d give it 7/10.

I am completely shocked by this perfume! So unexpected, I couldn't think that tobacco could smell this nice, is a note that I'm not a huge fan. I'm not a fan of the OG Red Temptation, but this actually resembles A LOT This is Her from Zadig & Voltaire, which is my major fav. I still wouldn't consider it a dupe and prefer Fields at Nightfall (it's cheaper and lasts a lot), but kudos for Zara on this one. Now I want to buy to test the longevity haha

Like many zara perfumes this is amazing when smelling directly from the bottle in store but not so much on skin or when worn for any amount of time. Ends up smelling cheap and this one is crazy weak even when sprayed in hair. A shame as from the bottle it’s divine. Annoyed I wasted £30. The only one I’ve been happy with that has lasted and not smelt cheap is Golden Decade and only in summer for me when the jasmine and orange blossom work.

Seductive boss but she didn't know she is seductive. Not intentional atleast. Im in my first day of test & we will see if this scent stays for atleast 3 hours on my skin (its extrait so i expect more though longevity is number1 criticism to ZARA fragrances). For me if they can double the longevity and maintain the beautiful trail, it will be worth splurging for.

Smells a lot like This is her by Zadig and Voltaire and Fields at nightfall by Zara. I can not detect any tobacco, nor the original Red Temptation DNA.

Smelled it in the store today. Exactly like red temptation sweet. Save your money!
