Rouge Crush

From the whole “Crush” line, this is by far the most mature smelling of them all. The cherry isn’t the first thing you smell, as what comes through first undoubtedly is the tonka bean. To me, although the cherry is mentioned as a top note, I can feel it stronger after the dry down. A mature sweet cherry, not too juicy and sweet, and the tonka and amber give it a sophistication and almost “old person” scent. While the other two crush scents smell a bit monotone and like sweets I’ve smelled before, this one seems a little more unique to me. A little more complex. Those are my two cents. A lovely stand alone cherry scent for a more formal and sophisticated person/ocasion (in my opinion haha)

The best from this line for me . A sweet dark cherry at start and then it hits with the tonka bean which i adore and provides depth and makes it a stand out perfume .I love the sweet darkness and i wish it has a better longevity but for this price its ok

This is my current fav cherry fragrance. Unfortunately I only have a few sprays left in the bottle, and I can't find it anywhere. I'm looking for a niche perfume that has the same vibe as this one, just better quality.

Interestingly, this is one of the Zara fragrances that only comes in 50 ml bottles, making them technically more expensive than the ones that you can get in 80 ml bottles. I’m not sure why they made this decision. The bottle says ‘parfum’ but the Zara website describes it as ‘eau de parfum’, so that’s kind of messy. Either way, it’s still a very affordable fragrance. The opening is very sweet – more than a black cherry, I get a cherry candy vibe. As it dries down, it becomes less vibrantly sweet, but I still wouldn’t describe it as a “dark” fragrance. I do agree that it’s sophisticated. It’s not a teenage girl kind of cherry. Contrary to what some people have suggested in the ‘this reminds me of’ part, this is not reminiscent of Tom Ford’s ‘Cherry Smoke’. I do understand why this one would come to mind because this one also gives me a sort of incense vibe, but the Rouge Crush is definitely much lighter and fresher. There is something about this that feels classically perfumey to me. I wasn’t alive in the 1980’s, but I kind of imagine that perfumes smelled like this back then. Maybe it’s the mandarin orange touch that gives me that vibe. Good performer!

I bought it yesterday, I kinda like it. I wonder if its a dupe of Black Opium Over Red, I haven’t smelled that yet!

I bought this a while ago and forgot about it. Just found it at the back of my shelf. It is definitely not giving the advertised notes. I do not get cherry or patchouli. More of a musky warm spice with a bit of orange

BE CAREFUL!!!!! So i bought this perfume not really thinking of the patchouli note cuz I don’t really mind a patchouli note here and there, HOWEVER... this was NOT it for me!! The patchouli takes over all the yummines and the clean soapy vibes you guys get is unfortunately not able to clean up the stanky coffee breath I get on my skin :(... it’s giving granny’s coffe breath on my skin so be careful if some notes tends to lean into granny on your skin But if this wasn’t it for you I would say go for lattafa mayar cherry intense as they are similar but instead of patchouli note it’s cacao

I have read the reviews before buying this perfume, and I am so disappointed. Unfortunately, it did not match my body’s chemistry. It smells like a very sweet incense on my skin, a little synthetic and borderline nauseous. I guess the smoke smell is coming from the tonka bean being in the middle notes of the perfume instead of base notes, like most perfumes. Can’t establish the age group for this perfume because to me, it doesn’t smell like perfume at all. You can sit in a room with a lit incense stick for an hour and walk out, and this is what your skin is going to smell like. Also, when you try to wash it off, it smells like sour pickles.

This perfume had the dark tone all the time. On my skin Top&middle come together then fade smoothly to the last. Cherry is not fresh/juicy. Patchouli is not heavy chocolate kind of patchouli, weak. Rouge Crush is not gourmand fragrance neither sweet-vanilla kind of fragrance. It says Parfum but even after 3-4 splays, but Longevity was 6 hours, Sillage was arm length. Suitable for elder women like 40 years old + However, Groundbreaking? No. Must buy? No. Unforgettable? No. So far i use it to layer with some other perfume. IMPORTANT: I am using Guerlain La petite Robe Noire flankers as my signature scent for more than 12 years, I don’t think Zara Rouge Crush has a similarity. ( because Im wearing them almost everyday so I can tell it for sure. There is no Thierry Wasser vibes )

The opening feels a bit like miller harris violet ida with aldehydes and dark cherry...I get why someone said mature...that wears off after about 20 or 30 mins and you (or at least i) get a kind of almondy dark cherry that's a little powdery. Feels a little irisy to me though that's not listed so maybe that's the patchouli.

Why oh whyyyyy have they discontinued this?! I’ve been undecided about this one but it was constantly in my mind, and when I went to my Zara to get it they didn’t have it no more! The two others are so much worse imo. It was such a gem! Pleaaaaase bring it back ZARA!
