Ruby Infusion

Basically agree with all the reviews below - very, very sweet. This is another Zara LDBS/Oriana dupe. IMO Velvet Shadow is a bit more airy so better Oriana dupe, but with an added jasmine note that I don’t love. This one I think leans more towards LDBS, but less complex and less syrupy. LDBS is a tad more orange creamsicle on the dry down, where this is a bit more sour candy... kind of Zara Give Me a Sign vibes with different notes. Of the Zara perfumes mentioned above, this is my favorite. That being said, none of them even remotely satisfy my love for the real LDBS or Oriana! ETA: it is very strong and lasts a long time on me - so there is that too!

Me fui a Zara hoy, con la espectativa sobre Los nuevos de rosas, y el pistacchio infusión...lo de pistacho me encantó, pero estaba agotado 😩. Los demás me gustaron pero no fue amor, pero me sorprendió el Ruby infusión, había visto las notas y no me llamo atención, porque creía que era otro gourmand del montón...y me equivoqué completamente. Es dulce, pero alguna nota Polvorosa quita lo empalagoso, y queda un olor muy diferente y elegante. Me remite a maquillaje antiguo y me encanta! Volveré para hablar de la fijación

I REALLY like this one. This does smell a little like Zara’s velvet shadow .... HOWEVER , for me personally , I DO get more of a cotton candy fragrance with this one in comparison to Velvet Shadow. Velvet Shadow imo has more of that marshmallow-y powdery fragrance w/a little HINT of something floral. Ruby infusion is sweeter imho. They’re similar, but not quite if that makes sense. I hope they make a larger size in this one ! 😍

Me encanta, me acuerdo ir a zara a probar el de pistacho (que no huele nada a pistacho) y al oler este me encantó, es dulce e polvoriento y soy fascinada por esa mezcla, muy femenina con nuances vintage. No se porque Zara no ha sacado el bote grande, ya voy por el segundo, y esperando q Zara no lo quiten o reformulen, sería una lástima

it's a veeeery nice ldbs dupe, a sweet, powdery beauty. yeah, it's also very similar to their previous release velvet shadow, but this is much a better performer! whereas velvet shadow was such a faint thingie, nothing more than a body spray, this is a perfume indeed. unfortunately this dna is now being overused.

I’m very surprised that D&G pour femme eau de parfum isn’t listed here. This is almost an exact dupe. I smelled the orange and marshmallow right away. Nice fragrance. It does have that Oriana, Reyna and Velvet Shadow (less intense in this case) DNA but it’s more mature. Sillage and longevity are okay. To be honest, this is a wearable version of those perfumes, and that’s my exact same opinion with the Dolce one.

This definitely smells a lot like LDBS and Floral Marshmallow at first spray.. then it becomes more powdery and smells SO much like Oriana. I wouldn't call this a dupe, but it is definitely a sibling or first cousin! It's very strong. One spray and I'm good to go. I can still smell it on my clothes for days after ETA: Whew. It smells good but wow it's strong. I think it's even too sweet for me!

As someone else said here I don't think Zara does dupes, atleast nowadays. Ruby infusion is definitely inspired by LDBS/Oriana. Of course not as complex as them, but still very enjoyable. Truly priceworthy, unfortunately the lasting power is not good. My 30 ml bottle I bought a week ago is already at 40% full. My boyfriend loves it! Can definitely recommend for that price

On initial spray, this is the closest dupe for LDBS that I've seen from Zara. It has the same feeling (fluffy berries and marshmallow) and is similarly bright with a little less punchy sweetness. I don't have Oriana but judging by the notes I can see how this may be duping that instead. I still like it and will save my LDBS for special occasions.

This is a Kilian LDBS dupe, by far the closest one Zara has made. Ultra sweet, warm, slightly powdery marshmallow. The difference between this and LDBS imo is that prominent orange blossom in LDBS gives it a bit more freshness and refinement. This one is a more simple type of sweetness, but still very close.

This can be a dupe for both LDBS and Oriana, depending on what you get from both fragrances. This smells more similar to Oriana because of the heaviness I get from the powder. If you don’t want to pay the $300 price then this is a great dupe and travel fragrance

I dont think its a spot on dupe for ldbs. Im glad it isnt cause i dont like that one. It kinda smells like golden sand by el rehab. It gives me throwbacks to Middle eastern hair oils like sunsilk. I like it but wish it stayed on longer its 1-2h for me for now..

This to me is a PDM Oriana semi dupe. Not 100% the same, but enough to call it a dupe. I love Oriana but not the price that comes with it, so I’m happy to have another similar option. 👍🏻

A Simple Cotton Candy Marshmallow gourmand fragrance with low silage. I'm surprised this is not a sickly sweet fragrance for all these sweet notes. I would wear this on a cold summer day

It’s pleasant enough in that generic way. I swear there is floral in this, sweet floral on me for definite. I don’t get fruit and certainly it’s sweet but no marshmallow on me. I get no Love Don’t Be Shy which I don’t own but have tried several times. Glad of the 30ml bottle size as it will get used but I’m not in love with it. It’s not as the notes are listed, on me at least. Pretty large fragrance on application which dries to present enough for at least six hours on me. It’s generic Zara, nice but nothing remarkable. If you work in an office it’s an inoffensive sweet floral (to me). If anyone else gets floral do let me know what. Edit to update - few days of wearing and I’m getting a lipstick scent. I have lipstick rose, it’s nothing like that but it has floral vanilla dimensions like make up. No Violet though. Will enjoy getting through this more than I initially thought. Edit - Finished it with absolute relief. The sweetness was too cloying and man I can handle a SOL 72 or whatever they are called. I guess super cheap sweet can be kitsch ( fantasy) this wasn’t, I tried, found glimpses some days but very happy for it hitting the recycle bin. Anything fruit body spray from phlur will give you basic but not offensive. If you want berries just get Burberry Her, at least it knows what it is.

I believe that Zara does not do dupes but more of inspired perfume. This is def inspired by LDBS and Oriana but I am not fan of those perfumes. It just does not react well with my skin chemistry. I was surprised that I purchased this one 😅 it is extremly sweet; like you mix sugar and some orange blossom in kitchen. Its also very potent. I do not think I can wear this every day. I need to be in mood. But glad to have it in my collection for 9.95€.

I am having a hard time with this perfume - i love the cotton candy and marshmallow aspect to it but there is something harsh and screechy that reminds me of a bathroom in the base. As long as I focus on the top notes I love it. Will try my best to use it up, zero plans to repurchase.

I don't see floral notes listed but this is overwhelmingly floral to me. There is a sweet, powdery quality in the background but the sugar and marshmallow are so faint compared to the florals. I was wanting a much more gourmand, sweetness. This is a no for me.

I own oriana and this has nothing to do with it! Maaaaybe The dry down is similar but I don’t find this to be a dupe. Velvet shadow was a better dupe but pooor performance . The longevity and silage are very very poooor as well . Such a disappointed .

This DOES NOT smell like By Kilian Love Don't Be Shy. I wish it did as that's why I bought it and Zara Velvet Shadow, which also doesn't smell like Love Don't Be Shy. I'm a huge proponent of dupes when they're good. Alas, these are not.

Someone that smells you and it's not familiar with nuisances, will not know the difference Will you know the difference? maybe. it may be a little, I mean little more harsh but then the price of $300 for the "real" stuff is very harsh. The currant is still marshmallowy and lasts about 4 hours. Close to Velvet Shadow which I own. I like both. Closer to LDBS than Oriana, but again, you have to be a fragrance head. I got 2 bottles. Yeah I have 250 more to get something or more elses !!!

Soapy powdery white flowers with a little bit of sweetness. Although white flowers are not listed here but they are for sure the main note. Orange blossom 100% and maybe some tuberose. The perfume description is misleading though this is not marshmallow sugary but more like floral powdery so be carefull. The dry downs gives vintage lipstick vibes. I actually like the drydown more. The juice is good quality for Zara cause it's not drown in alcohol the smell is distinct and lasts pretty decently.

I didn’t like this initially but I’ve come around to it. Even though it is extremely sweet, there is something mysterious or incensey there for me. I’m loving the incense right now so I’ll see how I feel when it gets cold again and I wear it in winter. I’m glad I didn’t give this away.

I honestly like this perfume a lot! To me, is very similar to LDBS and Ansaam Gold. Is like a stronger than Velvet Shadow version, which I really like it. I just don't know why Zara didn't launched the bigger bottle for those fragrances, at least this one I think it worth it.

I have to agree with SpicySillage on this one. All I got were sweet florals. It doesn't even smell like Love Don't be Shy, or any form of gourmand perfume for that matter. So disappointed. This was my first Zara purchase too. I'm just glad it was cheap

Despite marshmallow, cotton candy and sugar notes this is quite floral scent with little sweetness. It isn't anything smiliar to sickly sweet and an absolute "No" type of scent "Give Me Sign" from Zara's previous collection.

I like Oriana and I don't know how Kilian smells, but this is so bad and the notes looked good except for black currant. It smells like some fragrance from 20's or 30's decided to become gourmand before gourmands.

It is not a LDBS dupe imo but more like a (slighty stronger) rebranded version of « Velvet Shadow » from their previous collection. So it has more similarities with Oriana !

Very powdery. I remember Velvet shadow smelling the same as this.
