Santal Glow Eau de Toilette

I don't know how mojave ghost smells like so I can't make a comparison. Though if the real one is just as good as (or better than) santal glow then.. I can safely say I am bought. This is amazing. It's a very well made scent that makes a person who doesn't like violet such as I even bought for. I can't imagine not smelling this scent on my bed (and on me). This scent is pretty soft and velvety despite of its enormous sillage. Delicious! I know sandalwood, to me it's not that note that stands out. I am not familiar with freesia too, so probably it's the blend of the notes that works. Overall, it's a very nice scent. Now I wanna explore more of zara.. And for santal glow, I will totally buy again.

Well, thank you Cherihanei. When I would return to the room after using the Mojave Ghost-scented dry shampoo collab between Ouai and Bryedo, I would be all, "What is that divine scent?" A kind of Glossier-You modern ambrette floralized with just a bit of realistic violet! It was so fabulous they, of course, stopped making it. But then in Zara I gave the Santal Glow a spritz and I was all, "This is so familiar! What is it?" Got on Fragantica while in the store and read your review. For twenty bucks I can summon the Mojave Ghost to haunt me with happiness! I should have bought two, because they'll probably stop making it. Edited to add: They stopped making it.

I've never tried Mojave Ghost before, but if it's anything like Santal Glow, I will definitely dig deeper into Byredo fragrances (not a big fan of the bottle though). Santal Glow opens with a rather strong fresh scent then mellows down into a prominent ripe sapodilla, it then dries down into langsat (duku in my country), which is funny considering it's not in the notes. As for SPL, it performs surprisingly well for an EDT. Overall, Santal Glow is a pleasant enough cheapie, and quite versatile, although I figure it would be rather cloying if oversprayed.

If you are looking for a pear solinote fragrance you should give this a try. This smells like an intoxicating juicy almost sirupy pear. Sweet, delicious and candied. I guess the synthetic violet + sandalwood notes contribute to make this beautiful yummy juice. Definitely a love from Zara. Especially for the very cheap price.

I really enjoy this, I find Zara's sandalwoods work really well on my skin and the violet gives it a really nice twist. I have nothing else quite like this in my collection and want to buy a "higher end" version when I run out.
