Scent No 03 Tailored Blazer

I smelled my way through the new clothing themed collection, and Tailored Blazer is the best one. At first I could not tell what it reminded me of, only that it smelled cozy and modern. Then it came to me: it is like Sonic Flower by Room 105, just less intense and less long lasting. I actually prefer it this way, because one of the notes in Sonic Flower is too strong for me and reminds me too much of the smell of a childhood acquaintance’s apartment, a schoolmate of mine called Lívia. Tailored Blazer, on the other hand, is softer, so I can really enjoy it. A very good scent at a very good price.

This is crazy 🤯 I’ve never smelled a scent that has the same essence of “pencil shavings” as Glossier You. Clean, musky, skin scent. The smell also reminded me of like Mac or Revlon lipstick my mom used in the 2000s for some reason in the best way possible... Update: After wearing it for a week, I kind of got bored. There’s not much complexity on the scent profile but for the price it’s decent.

Its a more citrus-forward version of my favorite skin scent, Myth (Ellis Brooklyn). The dry down musk is very similar on my skin. Really clean, fresh, inoffensive scent perfect for the summer

Considering it's supposed to be a Glossier You dupe, I haven't heard a lot about it, not a lot of noise about the collection as a whole, to be honest, at least in the spaces I frequent. I'm not extremely familiar with You, TBH, I’ve smelled it on others and I sampled it once from a girl at my uni who had it, and that’s about it. That said I enjoy this one more than You. I’m not sure it’s actually that similar. I could see it being a greener, more unisex flanker of the You collection, than a dupe for the OG You. There is that same pencil shaving note on both of them, but this one is more citrusy and aromatic than You and not ambery or powdery enough, from what I remember. Even when the bergamot starts to settle and the musk takes over, that green, aromatic quality is still there, just not as fresh. It becomes more powdery, musky and dry, even though still aromatic and fresh. I don't know how else to explain it. It just has a dry feeling because of that pencil shaving note. It’s very unisex (more than You, like a true unisex), very clean, and a very everyday, safe smell. It didn’t exactly blow my mind, but it has something... I don't know. I really like it, and I can see it being a go-to for warmer weather. I haven't smelled the rest of the collection, but this one definitely has a 90s feel. I can’t quite pinpoint why, but the scent evokes a very minimal, clean working girl that wears a blazer over a slip dress and sneakers, boots or oxfords, 90s vibe. It's a skin scent, btw. The perfume lasts about 4 hours, and the sillage isn't anything to write home about, but it's there. After about 2 hours, personally, I become blind to the smell, but the boyfriend comments on it, so it's there.

I was looking for another 'my skin, but better' kind of fragrance. In this one, I clearly smell citrus notes with musk in the background, and maybe even iris (?). I know exactly what the reviewer meant by mentioning 'pencil shavings.' I really like this fragrance. It's just a shame that it doesn't last very long or project much—otherwise, it would be absolutely perfect. Great for summer days. Unisex.🌿☀️

I wish the freshness of the bergamot lasted longer. This is one I’m going to have to overspray to make any kind of impression. It is light and refreshing on its own, but for me, I think layering with something else will be best. Going to wait for a few more hours to get a final take

VERY similar to Sonic Flower with an added fruity note that I perceive as pear, even though bergamot is the note listed. Iris, powder, talc, musky in this way. I liked it enough to purchase it and leave Sonic Flower aside. Decent longevity, like 5 hours.

To me this a cross-over between a light Glossier You and Eclat d’Arpège by Lanvin (or Light Blue by D&G). Very pleasant and easy to wear. Doesn’t last very long but with a 100ml bottle reapplying is not an issue.

Powdery, musky, with an animalic undertone. White Soho wannabe but different, more old-manish and less potent. Not as clean as Livre Blanc or Blanc-a-Porter.

This is weird, but this has a glossier you vibe but make it fresher and lighter and beautiful lol. Perfect everyday scent. Edit: I get a very light green apple note in here . Edit 2: it smells dusty and I don’t like it on my skin

It's a rehashed Vibrant Leather Warm- they are almost identical. Very nice, not as deep as Glossier You or MD White Evening. It smells like a fruity note, orris, pencil shavings, musk, there's something plastic-like in the base. I had a bad reaction everytime I wore Vibrant Leather Warm, gave it to a friend, then my friend had a bad reaction too. I hope Zara fixed the cause of that problem in this new one. Update: this one causes me no trouble but that strong note in the base is off putting up close. Not bad, not the best. I'm not sure that it's worth almost 50 dollars.

this is unusual. There's (relatively fleeting) bergamot and something waxy and irisy...like a lipstick but not sweet but then a fluffy musk underneath. Impressively expensive-smelling for zara. I like it... but i would probably wear something else at the same time as I think I'd get bored of it
