Seoul 532-8 Sinsa Dong Gangnam - Gu

I do find this to be synthetic. However, Invictus is also very synthetic so I wouldn't let that put you off if you like that youthful DNA. I would go as far as saying this is similar enough to make buying Invictus redundant. It's wearable (doesn't have a sharp alcohol blast or any weirdness) and it's surprisingly stable. The fragrance it self won't be for everybody, as I said it's very sweet/juvenile. But I can rock it in my 40's. :)

I still can’t believe it. I was just looking for some jacket to buy when suddenly I saw a stand of Zara perfumes at the store. Most were regular scents that I would never use. However there were like 5 that i did enjoy, This is one of them. I ended up buying another one but next week sure I will be getting this one for the gym and work. Totally recommended!

my first ever purchase during my younger years, i gotta say it still holds up suprisingly well, sweet yet spicy and delicious but not overly intoxicating, I would compare it to Odyssey Homme White, being almost a 1 to 1 while lasting more longer and having more depth to just the 3 notes of this one!

Super clean and fresh light fragrance. To me, it has a cucumbery aroma which I love. I think it’s quite unisex (I’m female and use it often) and can work for anyone. Really crisp and inoffensive scent. Doesn’t last too long but with the price I don’t mind reapplying

INVICTUS INTENSE WITH HINT OF HAWAS!

I own both the Invictus EDT and this fragrance, and I must say that this one is Zara's best dupe of the original Invictus. It has masterfully captured the same alluring aroma of Invictus, and what sets it apart is its impressive longevity. While the original Invictus may become less noticeable after 2-3 hours, Seoul Gangnam continues to make its presence felt even after long hours of wear. It's a remarkable feat, offering a scent that not only replicates the iconic Invictus but also ensures you stay enveloped in its captivating aura throughout the day. What's more, it has none of the nauseating sea-like aromatic undertones found in the original, making it exceptionally wearer-friendly.

Great scent. Pleasant, youthful. Perfect balance of fresh and sweet. Doesn't smell too synthetic as some others claim. It does have that Invictus vibe but I wouldn't say it's a pure clone. Perfect for a long, warm summer night. I love this one. As with most Zara fragrances: projection is not too bad but the longevity is disappointing. You're gonna have to reapply this one. Feel free to overspray, it won't hurt. Overall: great summer cheapie!

Simply something very personal, I smell clean. A very open and warm nostalgia, you will cross your projection limits according to the skin of each one. I think walking in a fresh and light-hearted citrus garden would be a memory that refers to the timeless olfactory feeling. Very jovial for a relaxed occasion. Semi-closed environments can give a little more performance in their wake. 6.5/10 would be my guess for the commitment it brings! 🙂

Super nice floral and slightly spicy fragnance. At first when I got it there was this super pungent spicy/floral note (obviously from the pepper and ylang-ylang) that gave me a pretty bad headache but I guess after letting it macerate for some time It developed into a much more gentle scent with a very pleasant almost vanilla/honey like base that I have recently been so addicted to.

Very similar to Invictus with a sweet white floral note (Ylang-Ylang) and an Ambergris dry down. More modern and youthful than the original. Zara and Fragrantica list Amber as the base note, but it is definitely Ambergris, with its distinctive marine side, and it is the dominating note from the opening to the dry down.

I got the 50 ml one. I was reading that smells like Invictus, it clearly does, but it gives a hint of floral fresh idk, maybe bc of Ylang Ylang. It is maybe the most long lasting fragrance of Zara that I've had, after the sunrise on the red sand dunes. Easy daily, work, school, gym , go out whatever fragrance

Simple copy of Rasasi - Hawas for Him. Fact. Likable, but performance is barely 1,5 - max 3h. Intimate sillage.

Revisiting this on 2026. My brother used to wear this. Excellent!

Let's say, if you take Invictus EDT and put it in a glass box with some seawater, you get this perfume, keeping in mind that the quality of Paco Rabanne's perfume is two or three steps higher. I would think it's a perfume primarily made for summer and slightly warmer climates than Invictus, because Seoul is more diluted and loses some of the sweetness of Invictus. I apologize for talking so much about Invictus, but the resemblance is very strong. In Seoul, the amber note isn't as prominent, and its semi-marine floral aspect takes over. Without naming specific notes, it smells like you poured a combination of flowers with a somewhat sweet scent and hints of spice, mainly a light pepper, into a large seashell. It's easy to use, has a medium duration of up to 5 hours in favorable weather, a safe bet but clearly oversaturated. The projection is explosive for the first hour, then at a medium level for another hour, and from 3 hours onwards it's a skin scent. It does have a synthetic feel and a slight alcohol scent at first. Ideal for everyday wear, it performs well in open spaces. Recommended if you like Invictus or sweet and fresh scents. On my personal scale, it's a 2/4. It does the job as a perfume considering the price. In my opinion, Zara has three dupes inspired by Invictus: Seoul, Blue Spirit, and W/END till 8:00 PM. I think Seoul is the summer version, Blue Spirit the most "serious," and W/END the middle ground between the two, but they're certainly almost identical. If you want one of the three, it depends on what you're looking for. For me, Seoul is slightly better than the other two, as it's more versatile; it's even suitable for going to the gym. I'm somewhat indifferent to it because Invictus isn't a line I admire that much.

Zara Seoul is one of the worse Zara perfumes I have encountered. I picked it up with an impulse purchase, but quickly regretted it. The scent itself is not particularly bad, it’s just that it fell out of taste as I wore it more. I would describe the scent as very sweet and aquatic. I would say similarities to Invictus that have been pointed out by others are innacurate. Invictus has a much fresher feel which is ruined with the overpowering sweetness in Seoul. 4/10

#13 review Zara frag definition. It is sweet and smells ok. Fine summer guy but the performance not delivered. So as most zara frags recommend to try in the store and buy it with the discount. My rate 5.5/10

smells like a terrible fart after 2 hours

This Seoul and its cousin Lisboa are the same from years and years every time with different bottles so I think Fragrantica should stop starting a new entry at every change of bottle. It would be much better making entries for the ton of new Zara fragrances regularly ignored.

just bought this one because it was 6 usd for 30ml. didn't even think twice. First impression - this is 95-99% invictus, but probably less projecting and with lower longevity.

Invictus Aqua for $25 / 150ml Less crisp top notes, Invictus Aqua got more "zing" to it. But still 95% similar. Can't complain for the value you get.

Please stay away from this chemical mess that will make you choke , worst purchase ever even though few dollars , not worth it
