Seoul 532-8 Sinsa Dong Gangnam-Gu Winter

My first fragrance in college (FYI, I was like 17/18 at the time) and I'd say it is still a good scent to wear. Not great longevity (i mean, this is a Zara fragrance we're talking about), but don't let the "Winter" label fool you. You can easily wear it in the spring and summer and is just as good in autumn/winter.

This Winter version is just a bit drier and has a stronger mandarin vibe that doesn't necessarily make it more "fruity" if you know what I mean. Wood and apple do come alive but after an hour or so. Somewhat more elegant and suitable for night than the original Seoul, but nonetheless versatile.

Reminds me a lot of Montblanc Legend Spirit, at least they are both going for the same effect: a nice clean, out of the shower scent. Legend Spirit performs better on me but Seoul Winter does fine. Choose Legend Spirit if you want the performance, choose Seoul Winter if you want it super cheap.

Almost identical to Seoul Gangnam. Slightly better performance, but still below average (about 2-3 hours). Theres also no lavender note from the original Seoul Gangnam. The "winter" is quite deceptive. By no means is this a winter fragrance in my opinion. More suited for spring.

It smells similar to Invictus, but more diluted obviously. Longevity is kinda bad; need to respray hourly. the drydown is so bad though. I don't know what it is.. something chemical

The only difference I detect is a slightly fruitier opening, other than that it is the same as the original, however I personally like the top notes better in the Winter edition.

This one is quite intriguing. At first, it smells like a typical Seoul, but as it develops, the musky scent begins to dominate. That aroma is very reminiscent of Mont Blanc Legend Spirit, which I think is great. Performance-wise, I predict it will last about 3 hours at most. The scent develops very quickly, with the top notes fading within 15 minutes. That’s disappointing. However, the gradient glass bottle is really pleasant!

Strange, looking at the Seoul/Seoul Winter duo on the Zara Canada website they clearly show two sets of notes: "Eau de toilette set of two. Fragrance pyramid includes notes of mandarin, apple, and wood (I) + hazelnut, pepper, and amber (II)" I have the regular Seoul and the first set of notes sounds correct but the 2nd set definitely sounds more suitable for a Winter scent. The sold alone bottle of the Winter version also shows "Coming Soon" Sounds like people are just wearing the regular Seoul/Seoul Summer which Zara has labelled as Winter, maybe they'll change this soon.

Totally agree with Lamark below. It's no diffrent from Seoul Gangnam. If you buy the set, you will get two bottles of the same scent (not a bad thing if you really like Seoul Gangnam and don't like Lisboa or another scent go with it).

I tested this in my local Zara, it's exacly same scent as Seoul Gangnam, what does "Winter" stands for? Is it more lasting with better sillage / projection than its brother?

Pure green apple scent. Literally all I can smell on my skin is green apple. Love it even though doesn’t perform too well, 5-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection

Just tried this in store, the new blue-red bottle. Smells just like the original Seoul. If you have the original then you won't need this one.

A less floral, more woody and apple-ly version of the original one. A safe choice to use all year round, though nothing special about it.

smells like laundry detergent...I dont like it
