(Shamanilla)

I was originally excited to try this due to the unique notes of the fragrance. On my skin, It opens with a healthy dose of green, spicy, slightly minty, and heady green cardamom and bright bergamot. The cardamom was incredibly strong and I considered destashing until the fragrance settled into my skin. The cardamom softens and blends with amyris, which provides a green, piney, grounded, and spicy foundation to the clean and warm sandalwood, powdery and earthy carrot, coconut water (think mature coconut and not the milk, water, or the meat of a young coconut), soft, floral, and tangy peach blossom, sugary and airy cotton candy, and gorgeous dry vanilla. Despite the notes, this is not a gourmand, but rather a sweet, green, and aromatic coconut vanilla scent. It is a unique, strange, and slightly edgy take on a summer and spring fragrance without the sunscreen nuances or tropical notes. For comparison, it’s like Vanilla Vibration (a discontinued fragrance that I love for winter and fall) summer edition. Not a safe blind buy. I think it would nice to layer this with a single note coconut fragrance like Heretic’s Dirty Coconut or coconut lotion/body oil for more of a summery feel or vanilla for additional sweetness. EDIT: I allowed it to sit for a few days in a dark cabinet and the fragrance got beachy, reminds me of a boardwalk. Sugary vanilla cotton candy, buttery coconut, and coconut water bomb with cardamom and sandalwood. This fragrance took me on a journey from being a strong dislike to a like. I can only imagine that this fragrance will get better with maturation and I will test it again in the summer on the hotter days. Will buy a second bottle if it’s discounted.

A vanilla, coconut and cardamom dominant fragrance, pretty long lasting (5ish hours on me) with moderate projection. I am starting to love more and more Zara fragrances, not gonna lie. They are so wearable while being somwtimes pretty unique and not the usual boring scent profiles. The main notes of coconut and vanilla are completely blended together, and smell "artificial" in a non-synthetic way, if it makes sense. Not "synthetic" like when you smell a perfume and it feels wrong, cheap, low quality, not like that. But they do smell abstract, artificial, like the idea of coconut and vanilla. They are not gourmand or photorealistic. There is a contemporary art museum vibe going on here, i know this sounds pretentious but here we are. There is also a minty note which is actually the cardamom. I didn't get the cotton candy note. The perfume itself is sweetish, but not gourmand sweet. This, as a whole, feels a bit like a coconut-flavoured Tic-Tac mint candy. Dries down as vanilla and white musk, then just standard white musk, the same you could find in The Body Shop White Musk. This is NOT a gourmand vanilla-coco-cotton candy. This is a futuristic museum, full of design objects, where the main color is white. It feels abstract but wearable in all occasion, office as well, for everyday wear, but without being boring. Going to work, going out, strolling through the city kinda vibe. Oh and it is absolutely 100% unisex.

Shamanilla by Zara is one of those fragrances that really surprised me in the best way. When I first sprayed it, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it quickly became something I reach for when I want something warm, comforting, and just a little bit different. It opens with a soft, creamy sweetness that feels almost nostalgic — like vanilla mixed with a hint of spice. There’s a light floral undertone that keeps it from being too heavy, and over time, it settles into this warm, slightly powdery base that’s both comforting and cozy. The sillage is really nice on this one. It doesn’t fill a room in the same way some other fragrances do, but it leaves a soft, inviting trail. People around you will definitely catch it, but it’s subtle and doesn’t overwhelm the senses. Longevity is decent too — around 5–6 hours on me, which is more than enough for a fragrance like this. Shamanilla has this easy-going feel to it, like the kind of fragrance you wear when you want to feel at home, wherever you are. It’s warm and sweet without being too sweet, and I think it’s perfect for casual days or evening outings when you just want something that’s cozy and a little bit different from your typical vanilla scent. For the price, it’s a really solid option, and I keep coming back to it. If you like sweet, vanilla-based perfumes with a twist, definitely give it a try.

I get sooo many compliments on this fragrance! It is a fresh coconut fragrance that sits lightly on the skin, but performs extremely well for a Zara fragrance. I can spray this at 7am and people can still smell it at 1pm. I have had Wood Legacy from this collection too and it is nice, it just does not have the sillage or longevity of Shamanilla. It is not a traditional men's scent; it is heavy on coconut and vanilla, instead of traditional male notes. I would have loved a heavier presence of tonka in this scent, only then would I say it is perfect for me. 100% a unisex fragrance. I would say it leans more feminine than male, depending on if you are a fan of tropical, sweet fragrances. The only similar scent I can compare it too in my personal collection is Qaed al Fursan White. That has similar notes of coconut and vanilla, but it is more sickly than Shamanilla. QaFW has a more fruity presence on my skin and is good for layering. Shamanilla is fantastic for layering with an oud or a woodier scent if you would like it to become more masculine. I personally like the light gourmand scent, so wear it as it is, although I am looking to try it layered. This was a blind buy for me, purely based off the name and scent profile and I am not disappointed.

Closest humanity has gotten to perfection, shame they discontinued it. Don't know anything that smells like it. Leans feminine for sure - I've been called out for wearing "women's perfume" when this is on, which I take as a further compliment in all honesty. Keeping it in the bottle for a year has definitely created more complexity in the vanilla and sweetness - is more of an experience now, where as straight out-of-the-box it was a bit weak and didn't really evolve. Still loved it though. Also - I don't smell any cardamom. This is why I don't trust scent notes. Best way I'd describe this scent is that it smells like a field of fresh flowers on a nice sunny mid 20C day - and add some vanilla and sugar. Beautifully put together. Longevity is a bit of a miss. But it's a summer scent, and most summer scents just don't last.

This is so unbelievably nice. Not mind blowing or head turning but just so nice. It stays pretty linear on me the entire way, I don’t get much cardamom or citrus in the opening, just coconut, but not in a tropical way. It’s like coconut cream, unsweetened. The sweetness comes more in the dry down but it’s not juvenile at all, it’s a comforting combination of the sandalwood, carrot and yes, a little bit of the cotton candy, but not in a tootachey sugary way, it’s light airy and cozy. You must like a sweet scent to appreciate this for sure but it’s not at all displeasing or headache inducing as many sweet scents can be. And it lasts fantastically well, especially on clothes. It’s my favorite perfume I’ve tried from Zara, I highly recommend it.

Aromatic n’spicy vanilla. It smells somewhat like Vanilla Vibration, but better. The cardamom is a great addition. I went to smell it today as it was compared to Un Bois Vanille and I agree that there are similarities, because of the coconut. This is creamier, though. But just as perfect for layering. It is listed as male and while I certainly wouldn’t mind smelling this on a man, I’d say it’s unisex, perhaps even a little female as well. It’s a versatile no nonsense kind of frag with just a hint of something slightly edgy just as Vanilla Vibration. Smells amazing on clothing too and has a good staying power. An excellent budget buy.

I absolutely love this one! Usually I don't buy fragrances from Zara but this one is sooo good, I already bought a few back up bottles, we know how fast Zara's scents can come and go. On my skin this is a coconut bomb with a little bit of sweetness and some vanilla + cardamom in the background, but in a fresh and light way. Yes it's leaning more feminin but I don't care tbh. This is a perfect summer fragrance, I don't have any issues with longetivity either. I was searching for a coconut scent for a long time, and finally found the perfect one. For me it's a 10/10.

I guess this has to do with skin chemistry, but this scent is very masculine on me. The balsamic cardamom with a sweet touch is very pleasant to all noses. Initial projection is very good for 1 hour maximum, and then it becomes a great close-up bubble for the remaining 5 hours. The subtle coconut/sandalwood/vanilla makes it a bit like "sunscreen". This is a very different scent from what I'm used to, specially in a hot weather context. At current Zara prices in their more simple "Basics" collection, it is worth trying

In my skin its a beautiful and luxurious vanilla sandalwood can be used in summer and winter. Open in my nose more sweet and minutes later set more sandalwooish, cardamom and sweet vanilla with a touch fruity. But curious sometimes smell fresh and sometimes smells sweet. I love it ...unisex a little bit more female but I would like to smell it on a Men. I always imagine artist smelling like something and with this when I smell it think in one of the members of the Måneskin group.

17 Euros in the new bottle design sold together with Leather Fever in a combo set (100 ml). I was looking for an easy going vanilla scent for my vacation. If you are having similar ideas, check out this fantastic combo by Zara. I think it is the deal of 2026, both scents are just phenomenal. They both become close to the skin after 2-3 hours, but that is exactly what I wanted.

Spectacular vanilla/coconut/cardamom scent. Long lasting. This was NOT a blind buy... sampled it in store, loved it and had to have it. Smells niche and unique. Surprised no influencers have latched onto this. Zara must not compensate them. A banger. Marketed as a men's fragrance, but could easily be rocked by women who like variations on vanilla.

This is definitely unisex if not feminine. I have a thing for fragrances that are reminiscent of suntan lotions and this one is very much in that ballpark. It's a creamy vanilla with an instantly detectable coconut note that really sells it for me. Honestly Zara pleasantly surprised me with this one.

I love it so much 😭 unisex vanilla, very balanced and perfect for warm weather! The coconut water gives it such a clean and fresh vibe! However, I wish it had better projection, it's a very soft, close to skin scent

Been disappointed in the past few Zara releases. But I’m glad I bought this one. Definitely a creamy vanilla. Love it! As it’s very loud.

Vanillary by Lush comes to mind. It’s very warm and powdery. Unisex. If you like the Lush fragrance this is a steal.

I received this as a gift and was.. well in between. I'm not the biggest fan of vanilla, and sweetness in fragrances so i had many worries. But you know what? I ended using it much more than i expected. The vanilla is so smooth here, and not overly sweet. On my skin I mostly smell coconut water with cardamom and cotton candy and this smell last on my skin for couple hours. It's like fuzzy blanket when you need something soft. Is it boring? Extremely. But simultaneously it's so easy to wear it and bring peace to my head and nose. Will I wear it in warm weather? Probably not cause it will be to sweet, but so far I'm enjoying it in cold weather. :)

This is the second one of the Vibe Variations that I’m trying after Flower Please. My first impression of this one is much better than Flower Please. I like the coconut and while I find that that is a note that is quickly fleeting -like in Blanc Ensoleille by Zara and even Eau de Blanc Soleil by Tom Ford – in this fragrance the coconut kind of seems to be much more steady. It has a bunch of notes that seem so strange together, but funnily enough I kind of feel like it’s actually the carrot that gives the coconut the earthy base that it needs? It’s cool, I like it. I got the 20ml bottle and I already see me taking it with me on a summer vacation.

Interestingly this opens with cotton candy for me, despite it being listed as a base note. This is quickly followed by sweet vanilla coconut water with a green Vetiver-like undertone providing the “generic men’s cologne” back note. The dry down is what I like about this one, as it’s all about non-edible vanilla and earthy, powdery carrot. I wish the dry down was where this started and ended, but it’s worth having the 20ml size for me to experience it. Unisex overall. Editing to add that I can still smell the dry down on my sweater after a week, so this definitely lasts on clothes.

This is really nice, but I don't understand why this is marketed only to men, I would say it's pretty unisex. To me this has the same herby quality that both lattafa musamam white and Versace crystal noir have, I assume that comes from the cardamom in the top notes and sandalwood in the base notes. This scent comes through the most on my skin, I get very little vanilla or caramel. This projects really well and lasts about the same as most Zara fragrances. I do like it, but I'm glad I only got the small size because I already have other fragrances with a similar scent profile

Pleasing but middling. It’s a forgettable but pleasant dry vanilla with fuzzy synthetic skin musks. It has a similar feeling to it as Blanc Ensoleille (without the depth and interest) and the weight of Zara’s Femme. Shamanilla is a safe, unisex, easy grab. It’s generic, fuzzy, woody, dryly sweet. It’s an office friendly, after gym refresh, something you’d wear to be greeted warmly and forgotten just as warmly. A fragrance for spies. I wear this to doctor appointments, where the nurses’ opinions determine the quality of care you get.

I wore this during the summer—basic, yet it gets the job done. Coconutty, vanillay. I do get the plastic bag scent, but you really have to think about it to notice it. This fragrance is okay on its own, but it really shines when you layer it. Let me give you some game: apply Teakwood Hydration Cream by Bath & Body Works, then layer Shamanilla on top. Trust me, I got more compliments with that combo than with any of my other summer fragrances! But yeah, I recommend layering this fragrance, as on its own it's a bit too simple.

This Shamanilla is one of the softest-sweet perfumes I own. It's something like diluting cotton candy with coconut drops and a bit of soft spices and light woods in water. This time, its delicacy and softness make it perfect for very hot, harsh summers where a dense, sweet perfume can be scary... Shamanilla is also very youthful, even ethereal. What a shame it's already discontinued 😖 Note: This summer 2025, the Zara website in Spain has put Shamanilla back on sale😉

Shamanilla is one of those fragrances that I wear mostly for myself. There's something comforting and relaxing about it that makes it easy to reach for when I want something casual and cozy. As far as compliments go, it's not one of my strongest performers. Most people probably won't notice it unless they're fairly close to you. That said, I don't think that's really the point of this fragrance. It's more about personal enjoyment than external validation

Happy Blind Buy! It was $13 so I didnt have any expectations. Dont beat me up, but it kinda smells like Ariana Grande Cloud (creamy coconut & warm marshmallow 🥥) Intimate! Lasts 3-4hrs. My man loves this on me for cuddling.

Calling this unisex, let alone men, is a stretch, it's something that can remind maybe Cloud by Ariana Grande, so mainly feminine and youngish too. I trusted Carlos, the king of Zara perfumes, and blind bought this but luckily only the 20 ml bottle that I have already donated to my preteen daughter. My experience with this fragrance is so different from what I read and watched on YT reviews that I am starting to believe there could be some sort of mistake with Zara's quality control and some fragrances can end in the wrong bottles. I am having the same issue with Zara Gold Oddity where I smell a feminine floral while reviews talk about mineral notes and leather. That they can put bottles in the wrong box has already been certified. The performance is excellent and lasts a long time.

This is a very easy to wear vanilla fragrance, its not too strong and honestly nothing special. Feels like i already sniffed this scent. Maybe im wrong but my very first impression was this is a mix of two previous zara perfumes: Supreme and Sensual vanilla. Im glad i only ordered a travel size because its not full bottle worthy. Vanilla is perfect all year around but Shamanilla is more like a woody vanilla therefore its better for colder days in my opinion.

Definitely not close to Bleu Turquoise, of which I have a sample. It's a sweet vanilla with some powderiness, made wearable for summer due to the coconut note. It's an alright fragrance but it's boring imho, performance is okay (5 hours on my skin), I can smell some lemonish vibe in it too, maybe it's the carrot, I don't know, I just don't like it and I usually like summer vanillas.

This one on my skin smells so much like Fields at Nightfall by Zara/Her by Z&V with a sliiiight hint of smoke. In the beginning. After 6 hours it smells like Liam Grey by Lattafa or Jazzclub by MM. You can feel the cardamom in the drydown. Definetly not worth buying it for me. But it is not a bad scent, if you do not have the others.

A rather generic smelling vanilla, I actually think Zara just rebottled on of their women's "collection" vanillas and decided to market it to men. It smells like one of those cheap synthetic Tru Fragrance vanilla perfumes that you can buy at Marshalls or TJ Maxx for around $12-$14. Leans slightly feminine.

Initially you get the coconut, but after 5 minutes on the skin, smells almost identical to Rich Warm Addictive - Zara. You don't really need both of them ! This is unisex, leaning feminine.

Very bad kind of vanilla. Nothing graceful about this fragrance. It is like some idiot pulled a prank on you and covered yourself with a silly vanilla syrup. One of the worst $20 I wasted ever. Shame on me.

To me this smells like a black plastic bin bag filled with coconut water. Very strange. Might have to revisit this one.

I bought this based on peoples reviews, since I couldn't try it in store. I HATED this. the only thing that is a positive, is that the bottle is nice. not only did this not smell vanilla or sweet, but this smells like burnt plastic. and you can barely even smell it. I DRENCHED my arm w this, and I had to literally put my nose on my skin to smell anything. NOT and EDP, not even a edt. I don't know if I got a bad batch, (which is I think the main issue here), but I was so extremely disappointed. sent it back immediately.

Mediocre performance even for Zara. 2 hours tops. Even at 5$ for 10ml i paid in Spain, still overpriced. Can be used as body mist. Otherwise pleasant vanilla scent. Can be put is same ballpark as Bianco Latte - Giardini di Toscana, nowhere near the quality of course.

The composition feels overwhelmingly synthetic, with a sweet synthetic vanillin and ethyl maltol accord that dominates almost everything else. Instead of creating depth or character, it comes across as flat, generic and rather plastic. The coconut and creamy facets never develop into anything truly interesting - they simply reinforce the impression of another mass-produced sweet scent. It smells like some sort of McDonald’s dessert after what Your stomach and head hurts. What we miss here is beauty and personality. A memorable perfume should evolve, create tension between its materials and reveal new facets over time. This one remains almost completely linear, leaving very little to discover after the first few minutes. It smells... cheap in the worst possible way. No artistic identity whatsoever. It feels like a fragrance designed solely through market research. My biggest criticism isn’t aimed solely at this perfume, but at the direction of the mainstream perfume industry as a whole. It often feels as though big brands rely increasingly on large doses of the same synthetic sweetening materials to create immediate commercial appeal, while genuine olfactory complexity becomes secondary. Sometimes I think IFRA would do perfumery a greater service by paying more attention to limiting the excessive use of certain synthetic aroma chemicals than by continuously restricting many beautiful natural raw materials. Of course, those synthetic ingredients have their place and are indispensable in modern perfumery, but when they dominate the composition, they often erase individuality.

After owning this fragrance for about a month and using it on and off I've changed my opinion on it. The longevity seems to have disappeared somehow, from easy 8 hours on my skin it deflated to 2 hours of moderate projection and after that it becomes a skin scent. The scent itself is nice, it opens with smoky cardamom and sweet vanilla, as it settles you get the subtle coconut water and powdery floral notes and then after the 2 hours it becomes a delicate powdery vanilla. The thing is that everyone around me tells me that it smells like dill and I'm very sorry to say that now after getting that comparison all I smell is dill and i can't be smelling like a dill pickle all summer. Unfortunately after a short run I have to retire this one.

This smells nothing like similar perfume listed above ican say this about at least the ones that ive smelled. It may sound a little weird but perfumes in this collection is very watery. And wears light almost doesn’t have that staying power ive tried body mists that were a lot concentrated that these ones. This is more coconut milk ana vanilla powder. Almost aquatic. I dont think this scent would offend anyone, it is ok, failed to excite me from beginning to start, was somehow dull linear. Price point is the most exciting part imo.

First impression? I get a sweet delicately spiced vanilla with a touch of musk A little synthetic... after 5 minutes I can only smell it if i put my wrist up my nose, even when i overspray. I tried wearing it and it becomes a skin scent with 0 projection, longevity about 2 hours, can't smell anything at all afterwards. Bought this recently since Zara had it in a duo pack together with Leather Fever, 2x100ml perfumes for 20 euros which was quite a bargain. Maybe i got a bad batch, the other perfume projects like crazy.

One of the more interesting scents from this Zara line. Creamy, sweet and nutty. Hints at a sun lotion note too. It's not the kind of sweet scent that you can only wear in the cold weather. A fresh vanilla scent. I secretly hoped this would smell like Armani Bleu Turqooise and while it is a similar genre of a scent it's not that close. To me it's also more unisex and less amberwoody than JPG Le Beau. A good release but not something I really need.

I got hyped! So I bought online on the weekend and I just doused myself with it. Very pleasant, it reminds me of sweet coconut milk, very lactonic, very gentle. This is the perfect cosy fragrance to wfh, to read a book, to get groceries. It reminds me a lot of MILK by Ava Luxe. A steal for the price.

Very female leaning to my nose. Smells like sunscreen but with added sweet vanilla. Initially I liked it and was about to get a 20ml bottle, but I resisted the temptation and I'm glad, because after 10 minutes of smelling it in the air it was starting to make me feel nauseous.

This might be one of the few vanillas that can be worn in the summer time. It is kind of refreshing, slightly tropical (getting a coconut accord). Not mind blowing, however, it can replace the citrusy, aquatics people are wearing in the summer heat.

Will someone please tell me if this smells like BR540 even a little bit. My boyfriend hates BR540 and he can't stand even a hint of it. I saw some people on Reddit saying it did but I don't see a single review here. DM me!

Light, fresh, spicy version of This is Her by Zadig&Voltaire. I prefer to wear it during the warm seasons as the longevity isn't as great as TIH, but it is definitely less cloying and more wearable.

It starts soooo goood with a beautiful buttery coconut, and then on the skin in turns into burned popcorn scent I get in cheriosa 71... for now a pass, might get a decant to test it out properly

love it, pretty light powdery vanilla-carrot, BUT has that one peach-y fruity note which made me give it away. If you love slight fruitiness and dusty warm vanilla, this is such a gem!!
