Silver Absolute

It's a very good fragrance, it very versatile something between fresh and sweet. It has a major powdery aspect and something powdery sweet as it dries down in the middle. The notes don't really correspond with the smell of the fragrance. The dry down is something of a salty aquatic, which is really different from both the opening and the mid. The longevity on clothes is good, the smell is subtle actually but really beautiful. You can easily put 10-15 sprays for a wearing. In my book this can be used for close encounter date situations at night preferably but during the day also. The smell is universal, but i don't think it has enough power to push trough in the winter and late autumn. Very easy to wear, mass appealing and unique. 10/10 just as Uomo Winter, much better then what Zara was putting out lately. Can someone with more experience please share what this was inspired by as I want to buy the original now.

The opening of the current formulation is kind of all over the place. All the elements are fighting for space and there’s little direction. Something that stands out to me is a creamy almost vanillic effect which pulls back after 25 minutes on skin as the green notes cardamom and geranium get in line behind the lemon. The leather is very suede like on my skin. A mineral effect teases out from the lemon and heart notes. I get some Gucci Guilty vibes - can’t say it reaches the bold earthiness of Guilty Elixir though - that would have been an achievement.

This is the most confusing EDP i have ever bought, at first i was not sure of the power struggle among the notes, i was not completely sold on it, but the more i wore it, the more i fell in love with how it, this has made me rethink again on the purchase, i will definitely buy this. This is the 'uhmm okay' to 'wait this is actually good' kinda EDP, give it a try.

The first 1.5 hours are off-putting to me, then the drydown is lovely and manly but still it doesn't buy me

Ugh, there is nothing of the Classic Silver Adn here, and I had hopes to a refined version with that beautiful sparkling bottle shining in my eyes, but, the worst thing is that smells strange, mineral and herbal, the sage note and cardamom are the notes that ruins the drydown, you'll an experience of having a wet-dampy-dirty hairspray . Sage always ruins fresh scents, and cardamom sells you a "sour" experience. Really bad and awful
