Soft Haze

I agree with the reviewer below me 100%. This is definitely worth a blind buy. This is a sweeter more lemony version of Creed Silver Mountain water and I love it. This is even better than Derby Club House Blanche by Armaf. To me it just seems a little bit better blended. I picked this 100ml bottle at Zara on sale for 15$, which is a complete steal. Solid 7/10 for me. You won’t be disappointed if you like CSMW. The only problem here is the longevity. I get 2 hours if that on my skin, maybe a little longer if I wear it in the summer, I haven’t tried it in the heat just yet.Lastly, the pyramid is wrong here. UPDATE: I contemplated deleting my review as my opinion has changed drastically. I still believe it has a CSMW vibe but it’s funny to mention but you remember when you were a kid and poured fruit loops into a bowl, and before you poured the milk, you could just smell the fruit loops smell? Well, this has shades of that, and I’m not kidding. I also talked about poor performance, I was wrong about that, dead wrong. I made a mistake of wearing this somewhere where people are crybabies about scents. I legit had to leave and come back with a new shirt, and a quick shower because too many people were complaining about the strength of the scent. Be careful on the sprays, this stuff is potent. I have to assume that I either undersprayed before, or let the bottle breathe with the cap off for a few weeks. For a Zara scent, and the money I spent, this is a 10 for me. This even beats Armaf Derby Club House Blanche quite easily. I’ve never been so glad to be wrong about a scent before. The best thing is that I got a 100ml of this stuff for 15$ on sale, I just went back to Zara the other day and bought another bottle, it’s that good for me.

As the other reviewer says this is a Creed Silver Mountain Water clone. On 1st spray you get that special tingling that only CSMW gives and it starts out strong - like an amped up version of the original fragrance and I think great this has the chance to be a brilliant take on that classic. Sadly that opening just doesn't stick around - probably under an hour of projection and then a couple of hours (at most) as a skin scent make this hard for me to recommend. I would say if you are looking for a quality inexpensive alternative to CSMW then Armaf Derby Club House Blanche is still the daddy. Shame the performance is so diabolical as my skins has always seemed to get on with Zara fragrances - you sometimes wonder why retailers produce such weak juice when you would imagine it would be relatively inexpensive to improve the performance. I tried this when I was in Athens. It was perfect! Refreshing and cool in a different,unique but simple way. I was planning to buy it in the country where I live but it wasn't be released here! Then I learnt it was only on online sale...Can't believe I missed this beautiful fragrence. Zara please bring it back!

Had it for 4 years or so, it has matured beautifully and smells even better than when it was purchased. Love it.

Almost missed this gem. It's a bottle I've always seen at the Zara store of my city, tried once on a piece of paper but never gave a chance to develop properly, just smelled the initial lemony blast and moved on thinking it was one of the many spring/summer scent as many others. Then a friend told me to try it again and give 5 or so minutes and then report to him what it would remind me. He was right, Silver Mountain Water. In the opening, it smells like any other freshy lemony/citrus scent as many out there, but then the lemon vibe starts to calm down, and you can feel that ink/metallic tone that you find on SMW. I was so pleased that they were able to replicate that particular tone that, in my opinion, distinguish SMW from other similar scents. Scent - 8/10 If you like SMW, you will like it. I'm not crazy about it, I would never spend that amount of money for this particular scent, so for me this option is a steal. less than 10 bucks for a very good clone. Longevity - 4/10 - Not good, you can smell it on your skin but is very weak. Others say that longevity is really really good so I don't know if it was reformulated, but the 2019 version doesn't really shine for longevity and projection Projection - 3/10 1 hour, maximum 2 hours if you spray heavily on your clothes, and you MUST spray it on your clothes if you want some sort of projection/longevity. Price - 9/10 Cheap as hell, very well blended, and I personally enjoy that lemony touch. Overall - 7.5/10 The only problem here is longevity/projection, you need to spray a ton of if or you gotta bring with you a travel bottle to respray every hour. If it wasn't so weak, it could easily be a 8.5

(Clone alert!) Hi guys,that's my first review on Fragrantica.Today i was on the stores and i got in a Zara's just to smell some fragrances.. Accidentally i fall into Soft Haze..."oh, one more new release" i said when saw it at first but i finally tried it...WOW...first spray quite blew me away,very unique smell,'elegant',modern. I was wondering about the development of the fragrance...5 minutes later i smell my wrist and i am pretty sure i know that scent...thats Creed's Silver Mountain Water without any doubt! Still very nice,pleasant,fresh,calmful,the 'tea note' a bit prominent..all in all..just wonderful. As SMW, not everyone will love Soft Haze but this is for sure a new gem, a true SMW clone (i would say about 85-90% clone..much closer to SMW than VibrantLeather is to Aventus). I bought it the next minute for €12.95..definitely no-brainer! Scent:7.5/10 (if you love SMW it's a 8.5-9) Performance:6.5/10 (quite good despite being a Zara..and an edt) Sillage: 7.5 (quite good lingering in the air) Versatility:8/10 (SMW is considered to be a spring-summer scent...i would also say it suits perfectly in wintery sunny days and/or rainy autumns too. Also suitable for the office, social events and casually dressed) Price:10'/10 (€12.95 for a 100ml clone of SMW??) Overall:a max 7.5/10. A modern freshness.

Saw this was discounted at the local Zara store and the initial spray and the fact others claimed it resembled Silver Mountain Water piqued my curiosity. It's a super soft, inoffensive fragrance. The opening is a bit heavy on the citrus but it calms down after about 15 minutes. Sadly though, the longevity on this is very poor. I'm not one to easily complain about longevity but after 1 hour sillage is completely gone and after 2 I can hardly even smell it on my skin anymore. I've had luck with Zara fragrances in the past (9.0, Collection D, Collection Y) but this one is a bust.

I really like the mineral/cedar accord in this fragrance ... I bought it discounted on Zara online, less than 8€ -- such a steal --- on my skin it last around 4h during spring time, I will check on warmer temperatures in case the performance varies some months later, it's summer time and this fragrance behaves great in hot weather I even notice better silage performance

Using it today. Seems that given the molecules used, it's very simple to go anosmic on the scent. It does have sillage - though projection might be compromised given such nature. Smell-wise, it's sillage is not as complex as SMW, it's a simple white-musk in the drydown. Opening is gorgeous.

Smelling this next to the real SMW I literally cannot detect any difference, whereas with Aventus and Vibrant Leather, the difference is quite clear side by side.

Nice dumb reach, easy to wear, non-offensive, cheap as chips (currently £5.99 for 100ml on the Zara app/site) take on SMW, but without the potentially off-putting citric/icey/metallic 'Screechy' blast you get with SMW in the opening. . As for the juice, this to my nose opens with a lovely take on SMW's black current note along with a smooth mineral accord that provides a pared back take on SMW's icey coldness/metallic vibe.. With this you immediately get hints of the cedar woodiness/pepperiness of the base notes, similar to those in Reyanne Trad ii, which is their take on SMW, but these never really develop beyond being supporting players for the black current and mineral accords that do their SMW-esque thing throughout the lifespan of the frag.., . Given the cost to quality ratio, this is an absolute no brainer for summer/warmer weather or even for the gym or office.

Nobody mentions CK2 ? Soft Haze reminds me something between L'Aventure Blanche & CK2 I haven't tried to this day Creed's Silver Mountain Water, but 1year ago I bought L'Aventure Blanche a.k.a. SMW's clone. Scent of the Soft Haze I like more than Al Haramain L'A.Blanche. L'A.Blanche is more on feminine/floral side , Soft Haze is more on masculine side for me.

It smells like Lomani Network that I hate.
